Are you on The Librarians Multi Event discord server per chance? People are debating Ezekiel's age. I mentioned that there is a screenshot showing his year of birth as 1989, and they were all like "if not canon confirmed, meaningless". I remember you posting back in the day about his date of birth so wondered if you could jump in. Or if you still have the screenshot of his mugshot from "And the Fables of Doom"

what the hell do those people think confirmed as canon means??? this is a show that is extremely intentional with everything it includes. "meaningless" dont piss me off. unless you've actually interviewed the creators and been on the set of the show, don't come at me with trying to say my canon observations are "meaningless" lol. literally just read his mugshot with your fucking eyes. not to mention, the s1 finale tells us that ezekiel was 15 when he got his letter to the library, and we know that was exactly ten years before s1. they actually do say it out loud beyond just this mugshot but i guess in both cases people just dont pay attention.

this IS confirmed as canon. they even literally framed the mugshot in camera for a prolonged shot so you would be able to read it. do people think that canon = only said out loud? because if THAT'S how you're approaching THE LIBRARIANS OF ALL FRANCHISES, im sorry, you're making a fool out of yourself lol. truly the most RIDICULOUS thing i can possibly think of would be to approach THE LIBRARIANS FRANCHISE like that. like

the creators and writers have confirmed that this show is meant to be dissected down to every minute detail. this is not your mom's bullshit procedural like 911 that doesnt know or care about continuity or consistency this is the fucking librarians we dont play around here

if you can't accept non verbal details as canon, STOP WATCHING THE LIBRARIANS. we actually know what show dont tell means around here unlike the majority of mainstream media in the past ten years. you're actually supposed to use your brain with this franchise, not sit there and let it wash over you like its cgiblockbusterslop. if you are waiting for the characters to spell out every single detail out loud, you're watching it WRONG!!!!!!

are these the people that the writers felt the need to dumb down the s2 finale for where they basically had to spell out flynn is the reincarnation of king arthur for the casual audience when anyone with a brain that's been paying attention would have known that already from the first movie? and frankly the s2 finale suffered from being forced to spell itself out in a simplified way for the people who dont pay attention, because people for some reason didnt understand who dulaque was in the s1 finale despite the show literally spelling out for you that he's lancelot. like im sorry but if you cant investigate a show beyond it's dialogue, if you need to have your hand held through every single detail, you shouldnt be watching this show im so serious. it is not meant for you

and fuck, even this detail WAS spelled out loud again verbally for the audience when they confirmed he was 15 when he got his letter ten years ago. but apparently, something only registers to yall when the character turns to face the camera and says "I AM 25" out loud in forced exposition. bro just go watch paw patrol if thats the only way you can understand things

its one thing to have not realized/noticed a detail, its another thing to outright DENY it when others bring up evidence to you and dismiss it as "not canon because it wasnt said out loud" but you look like a fool because actually it WAS said out loud???? thats lowkey so embarrassing actually lmfao
