GCF Tokyo, Kookmin and I.

I have never been a shipper. But when my friend would tell me about BTS, she would always talk about the best couple on earth, Kookmin/jikook. I would glance sometimes when she would watch videos on her phone, made by fans, with romantic music and slow motions, and I would just roll my eyes, because it was for me too cheesy, totally ridiculous and unrealistic. I know how easy one can manipulate images, and how biased people tend to see only what they want.

She asked my opinion on other ships, vikook, yoonmin, namjin, vmin, jikook, etc. All I could see was touchy-feely boys. Yes sometimes it was weird (like that video of V, pushing his groin/pants towards Jhope butt????) but nothing quite shocking, nothing I haven’t seen with my brothers and their group of male friends. People tend to forget that straight boys/men single or married enjoy slapping each other’s butt, calling themselves sweet names, and teasing each other. It’s not something unusual.

But what I didn’t tell my friend since I didn’t want to validate her “illusions” was the stares from JK when he looked at JM. Gosh some were intense! And made me a bit uncomfortable, like I was intruding. I mean the guy was not even blinking, who doesn’t blink? But I kept quiet, because my motto was “don’t encourage her”
