“You don’t have to do this, for me.” Jungkook watched you fondly as he stopped at the edge of the bed looking down at you. His fingers creased your face lovingly as you cooed and tugged at his pants. “But I want to, especially after all the chasing you’ve done.”
Jungkook chuckled and shook his head as his eyes grew dark.
“Okay then,” he started, “Open wide, princess,” Jungkook cooed as he unzipped his pants, revealing his hardened member. You looked in awe as he was presented in front of you. Your mouth began to water as you pushed yourself up to level yourself with his member.
Taking his member into his hands, you wrapped your lips around his mushroom top and sucked lightly. This small action drew a small flow of pre-cum to leak from his member. Not even fazed, you continued to suck along his member before taking him whole into your mouth.
Your tongue swirled around his length as you began to take him inch by inch. Jungkook couldn’t even hide the groan from flying out his mouth. He ran his fingers through your hair lovingly as he watched you take him erotically.
The way he was watching you always made you motivated to please him.
As he made love to your beautiful face, your low moans vibrated through his member. You wrapped your hands around his thighs, coaxing him to go deeper which he did.
“Shiiitt, fuck” Jungkook groaned as he resists the urge to pound your throat despite the random bucks from his hips. You sat there like a good girl as he released himself deep into your throat.
~~~~~~~~~~
Your lips met, each kiss growing more sweeter and enchanting than the last. Jungkook leaned in, your foreheads touching as he continued to push himself between your folds.
The room was mixed with the moans from the two of you and the hums of the nightlife outside. You and Jungkook were joined tightly in the sheets and your breathing was synchronized and slow.
The two of you were sucked into your little world where no one outside of you two mattered. Your hearts, pulsating in unison, beating in sync and only for each other.
Every time you guys got together, it always felt like this. It felt perfect. All the shit Jungkook would talk about punishing you never came to fruition because all he wanted to do was make love to you.
It was the same on your end.
You talked a lot of shit to him, telling him you would never submit to him and here you are.
Allowing him to make you his puppy again and again.
Jungkook’s thick rod slides effortlessly between your wet folds, the sensation making you moan a bit louder.
He knew his house was filled with people. His parents, brothers, sisters, servants, maids—everyone who saw him daily, and he didn’t care. He wanted it to be known how you made him feel and how he made you feel. At this point, he knew his parents no longer believed that you were the right choice so he wanted to make sure they were the first ones to hear that he had no intentions of giving you up.
Jungkook moved slowly, rocking hips back and forth, swirling his hips as his lips were lingering on yours. Your moans began to grow louder and louder as his thrusts became stronger and harder.
“B-baby, please don’t s-stop.”
Jungkook chuckles breathlessly, increasing his speed while replying with a smirk “Never in your wildest dreams.”
After a night full of love, laughs, and passion you felt secure in your decision. The next morning, you woke up to Jungkook laying on your chest. His arms were wrapped around your waist tightly as he craved your body on his. Your heart melted as you watched this king act as a child with you. In the most vulnerable space, you have ever seen anyone of such a stature. Your fingers ran through his long soft locs as you watched him sleep. After a few minutes, he began to stir in his sleep before looking up at you.
“You’re still here? No running off?” Jungkook smiled sheepishly as he sat up.
Your eyes ran across his broad shoulders and his gorgeous skin. A bit distracted until Jungkook looked back at you with a chuckle. “Or did I finally tame you?”
“Tame me? Never. Time will tell.” You teased. Jungkook looked at you and slapped your thigh, causing a hiss to leave your lips as you jerked up sitting next to him. Rubbing your thigh as your eyes were locked onto him, pouting.
“Don’t play with me any more. Please no more running. Can we finally just be a couple?” Jungkook asked, taking your legs and laying them across his lap, rubbing your thighs. You smirked and sighed.
“I guess.” You said teasing him again. Jungkook looked at you, “Baby, I’m serious. I really want us.”
“You and I want us, my parents want us but your parents don't want us anymore. I don’t feel like hearing your parents groaning.” You said truthfully to which Jungkook sighed “My love,” he started, “My parents feel the way they do because you kept playing games and disappearing. But that doesn’t matter. I can fix all of that. Either way, they cannot change my mind about you. So don’t let them change your mind about me.”
You sighed and laid back. “You are right but Jungkook, their timeline for our marriage is not what I want. They want us to pop out all these babies and that’s something I don’t want to do.”
“You don’t want children?” Jungkook asked, looking at you, his hands still working on your thighs. “I thought that was something that you wanted?”
“Of course it is. I just don’t want my children to be used for their selfish intentions. Or anyone’s intentions. Just because they’ll be purebred.” You replied. Jungkook sighed. “It sounds like you don’t trust me with the future of our kids.”
“No, no, no that’s not what I’m saying at all. I know you would have the best interest for our children, there is no doubt about that but they are your parents. You wouldn’t go against them.” You said sitting up looking at him. He sighed and nodded.
“That is true…but you are my-will be my wife, I have to think about what is best for us, not just the kingdom. I’m guessing that’s why you’ve been running this whole time.” Jungkook said, looking over at you tilting his head and flicking his eyebrows. You nodded.
“Yes. I refuse to be told how to love and when to do it. Granted, we are perfect for one another in my opinion but even the most perfect couples can have the most amazing love in the world and the parents can screw it up in an instant. All because they want things on their timing, we are already on the timing of the kingdom, that’s enough for me. I don’t want any more pressure.” You admitted. Jungkook's eyes soften.
Pulling you closer, he leaned in and gave you a sweet kiss before peaking your nose then your forehead.
“It’s going to be hard, I will admit that. My parents will make things hard, I will admit that. Those are things I cannot change as much as I wish I could. My parents still like you, they only feel different because of all the back and forth. I believe that once they see that you are devoting yourself to me, they will be on board again. Just trust me. I will have you back one hundred percent.”
Looking in his eyes, you believed him. You trusted him. You pushed yourself in his lap, straddling him while holding his face. “I trust you. I’m just…scared.” you admitted.
“I know. I’m scared too but I’m confident in us. Let’s do this…for real this time.” Jungkook whispered as his lips pecked yours. You nodded, kissing his lips sweetly.
“I have to go. I will be back in a few hours.” You said pulling yourself off of his lap to which he immediately pulled you back into his lap shaking his head. You giggled as you tried to push him off but clearly, the vampire king was too strong for you. “Baby let me goooo”
“No ma’am. You aren’t going anywhere. Unless you have a really good reason.” Jungkook mumbles in your ear, sitting you directly on his member that was still bare from the night before. He started to move your hips that only caused friction against your core drawing moans from your lips.
“I-I-I need to feed daddy, something you promised to take me but didn’t” You moaned softly against his lips as you settled on to him, letting him rest inside of you. Jungkook groaned softly as he moved your hips, pleasing himself.
“I was going to but we were busy.” Jungkook said breathlessly as he laid back to admire your body as you rode him.
“Then take me before I get hungry” you moaned, looking down at him with a smirk.
Jungkook much rather sit here and take you down once more but he knew that there would be plenty of time for that. Without to mention he parents bursting in the room through thin air causing you to immediately get off of Jungkook and cover yourself as well as him. Jungkook’s hands didn’t know what to do but his body instantly covered yours as he looked at his unfazed parents.
“Next time could you knock or just wait for me to come down stairs. I was doing something” Jungkook said, turning red as you hid your face behind him.
“Well before your untimely departure, we reminded you that today you were meeting some candidates for your Queen and your secondaries.” His mother said with no regard to you being in the room and how you might feel.
Jungkook shook his head looking back at you then at his parents. “I don’t need a Queen and I don’t need multiple wives, I have Yn and she’s ready to be Queen.” Jungkook’s father didn’t even spare you a look before speaking.
“She can be one of your wives but she cannot be your Queen, we’ve spoken to her parents and we both agree that she is not ready for the responsibility. She isn’t reliable. You need to meet the candidates and choose a queen.” his father spat. Jungkook frowned, clearly pissed off.
You shook your head. Not even phased. You were sad, of course but you knew that this was going to happen. You snapped your fingers and fresh clothes were placed on your body. You moved from behind Jungkook and gathered your belongings. Jungkook held the blanket around his waist to shield himself. Reaching out to you he pulled you back “What happened to trusting me? You aren’t going anywhere,” he started before looking at his parents.
“I’ve chosen my Queen and my wife. It’s Princess Yn. She’s the only one that possesses the skill and the desire that I want in my Queen. I will not change my mind.” Jungkook said firmly. His parents didn’t budge.
“Jungkook, it’s been years of this back and forth. I’ve grown tired. We’ve grown tired. What is done, is done. Be ready in one hour. That is all you have” Jungkook’s father said. Jungkook looked at his mother and pleaded with her.
“Mother, I love Princess Yn, I don’t want another wife, I wouldn’t treat them right. I only want her.” Jungkook’s mother sighed, showing the first sign of emotion.
“I know, we all know how you both feel about one another. Believe me son. We know but this game has to stop. How are we to know that she wouldn’t run off again after gaining the title or when it’s time to defend the Jeon Kingdom? She ran from her own Kingdom and her parents haven’t seen her since.” Jungkook’s eyebrows furrowed “Mother, don’t bring that up.” he said sternly.
Your face fell at the mention of you leaving but you remained silent as you moved Jungkook’s hands and continued to gather your belongings.
“Yn, don’t leave. Please.” Jungkook said, whispering to you, pulling you closer. Turning to him, you kissed his cheek. “I need to go feed before I get ravenous. I will speak to you once I am done, Jungkook.” Jungkook wasn’t letting up, in fact he was concerned. Why weren’t you feeding regularly? In fact, even his mother had questions.
“Why aren’t you keeping up with your daily blood intake? A pure breed cannot go longer than 2 days without feeding and even that is too long.” His mother asked to which a look of concern fell on the faces of Jungkook and his parents.
“It’s a little hard to do so when you're a runaway Princess who couldn’t defend her kingdom. Don’t you think?” You said looking over at her before grabbing your phone and calling one of your drivers to be outside.
“Yn, that’s not what she meant-” you shook your head “I know exactly what she meant. Don’t worry. Enjoy your banquet or whatever it is. As I said, I will speak to you later.”
Without any more discussion, you allowed your mist to take you away. Leaving Jungkook feeling both defeated and upset.
~~~~~~~
Sitting on the throne, Jungkook has passed on every woman that came before him. He didn’t even allow them to speak. His parents were growing annoyed by the second.
“Jungkook, you don’t have to sleep with these women, you just have to choose one to take the throne with you, that is all. You can still continue whatever you have with Princess Yn. Wrap this up please. We’ve been at it for hours already” his younger sister pleaded with her older brother.
“Yes, please kookie, I’m getting sleepy.” his youngest sister added. Jungkook shrugged and passed the next woman causing all parties to groan. “This is getting ridiculous. Jungkook pick someone for the love of myself.” Yoongi spat. Jimin chuckled at his siblings. “We all know this could have been over with if mother and father didn’t tell him no about Princess Yn.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes looking over at his parents. “This is your fault. He is the most stubborn one and you told him no.” Jimin chuckled as his father growled.
Jungkook kept looking at his phone, waiting for your call, praying he didn’t have to look for you again. “We may have to go find her again.” Jungkook said looking at his phone. Yoongi and Jimin groaned, shaking their heads. “I’m not going this time. I love Princess but searching for her day and night is not good for my mental health.” Jimin said. “I refuse to put in that much effort ever again. It’s not like you're sharing her with us.” Yoongi whined to which Jimin nodded in agreement.
“You got that right.” he mumbled. He continued to scroll on his phone until he finally saw your picture and name pop up. His eyes lit up answering asap.
“It’s about time you called me. I was getting worried.” Jungkook smiled at your hum.
“It took me a while but I finally fed. I’m feeling a lot better.” You said sitting in your car as your driver took you back to your kingdom. Jungkook smiled.
“I’m happy baby. Now are you on your way back here?” Jungkook asked, still passing the women before him. You chuckled. “Not tonight.”
A scowl grew on Jungkook’s face to which Jimin and Yoongi knew exactly what that meant.
“I’ll get the car ready, you get the snacks” Jimin muttered as Yoongi sighed as loud as he possibly could. “Fine but I say we just drive ourselves instead of getting a driver.” Yoongi said standing with Jimin.
“Why not? I thought we talked about this? Princess, I don’t want to keep chasing you. I thought we had a moment last night.” Jungkook asked. You hummed. “Then don’t. You have plenty of people to choose from thanks to your parents.” You said pettily
Jungkook sighed loudly as he threw his head back. If he hated anything about you it was your jealousy and stubbornness. You were perfect and he even loved the chase at times but he hated your jealousy.
Jungkook couldn’t even look at anyone else without you assuming he was interested in them. He felt as though, if you would stop and actually give him a chance, you would see that he didn’t see anyone else but you. Of course you wouldn’t know that. You never gave him a real chance.
“I already told you, you don’t have to worry about that. I don’t care what my parents say, I choose you and only you. Come home to me. Where you belong.” Jungkook said getting irritated as if his parents didn’t already piss him off.
“I am home. I’m just not with you.” You said nonchalantly as you looked at your nails. “I’ll come over there tomorrow or something.” Jungkook rolled his eyes as he shook his head. “You know you aren’t coming over here tomorrow. You and I both know that.”
“I seriously cannot come back tonight. Even if I wanted to, I have to take care of something in the kingdom I don’t care for.” You said bitterly. “I'm pretty sure we are having a raid soon and I must prepare for the future of my kingdom.”
Jungkook sighed when he heard the hurt in your voice and he hated that his mother brought that up. He knew the choices you were given and he would have done the same thing.
“Baby…” he started, “You were a young vampiress, the weight of your kingdom should not have been on your shoulders that young. I know just like your parents know that making that type of choice was not for you to decide. You did what you thought was best. You did what you were told.” Jungkook sympathized with you, wishing he could comfort you.
He knew this bothered you and you had enough people in your ear about it. He hated that his parents were one of them. Thankfully, most of your people have forgiven you and forgotten about it.
Jungkook heard a little sniffle and knew you were crying. If he didn’t have to take over his kingdom, he would run off with you. He would live with you and your people. Your people would become his people, your God would become his God. That’s how much he loved you.
“I know you have a busy day but please, let me see you tonight.” He asked.
“I just want to sleep. Please, just let me sleep.” your voice cracked which only broke his heart and made him more determined to see you. He knows the real you. Outside of the hard exterior, you were a sweet girl. A crybaby. A feeler. You put on this persona to protect yourself from the outside world because you were made to be that way. But he knew and loved the real you.
“You can sleep. You can do whatever you want just let me be there with you. Let me hold you, baby.” He pleaded.
Jungkook yearned for you. He needed you more than sexually. He needed you physically, mentally and spiritually. You were his everything and he needed you more than he needed air to breathe.
“Fine, Jungkook. I’ll let the guards know that you are coming.” You said reluctantly.
Jungkook didn’t waste any time. He stood and ran off leaving his parents upset and confused.
“What are we going to do with him? At this rate, Yoongi should have been king.” their father said, standing and dismissing the remaining women.
“You were the same way. You were headstrong about marrying me. He’s a splitting image of you.” their mother laughed as she stood to her feet as well, taking her husband's hand as he led her down the steps.
~~~~~~~~
You sit in the bath and try to relax your mind. The moment you got home, your parents bombarded you with tons of questions. Not of your whereabouts but more of your wellbeing. You bore the power of the Noblesse and they just wanted to make sure you were taking care of yourself.
You were stronger than every other vampire. You were cut about the rest. You’ve stepped out of just a Vampiress and into Nobility.You had every power a mere Vampire had but better. You had superhuman strength, durability, stamina and physical characteristics. You had resistance to Soul Attacks.Your senses were enhanced and you had regenerative healing. You excelled in combat and manipulation. Soul manipulation, aura manipulation, memory, weather and sleep manipulation. Teleportation, Telekinesis, mind control and reading were your specialties.
To make a long story short, you were the judgement and executioner of vampires.
The one thing that was most important to your kingdom was your ability to awaken hidden powers. You knew you reigned supreme over all the other supernatural beings and it’s part of the reason why you hid your true powers.
Jungkook and his family have no idea who you truly are. If they did, his parents would probably sing a different tune. They would show you more respect knowing your stature.
But you kept it to yourself, wanting people to like you for you, not because of the power you possessed.
“Baby?” Jungkook said walking into the bathroom. His cute curly mullet was outgrown and pushed behind his ears, his big brown eyes looked at you with love and adoration, his hands held themselves together as he got ready to speak.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know why my parents did what they did. I don’t want anyone else. I only want you. You make my world spin round and I can’t understand why. There’s something about you that makes me crazy inside and I love it.” he continued, walking towards the tub and getting on his knees. He pulled your wet hands into his and kissed them softly. He laid the side of his face onto your hands to which you creased him gently.
“I love you. I won’t leave your side. Ever.” He said looking into your eyes.
Tears stained your cheeks as you tried to hold your feelings back.
“I love you too…Jungkook.” You whispered.
Jungkook leaned over and kissed your lips gently, hoping you could feel every piece of him.
"A family vacation? Yoongi..." You said watching him pace back and forth before pinching the bridge of your nose. "Why would you even agree to that?" you finished almost defeated.
The whirlwind of emotions that comes with this family was honestly draining in your opinion. And being pregnant doesn't help. Yoongi being all over the place, also doesn't help.
"Honestly, I don't even know what his intentions are. It could be one of his mind games or it could be genuine. Either way, I don't know if  I want to be apart of it. He says it for the sake of my mother but again, my father is a mastermind of lying," Yoongi explained.
You were lost so Yoongi also being lost and uneasy made you even more uncomfortable. Everything was happening faster than you could even think. Even if you could take the time to think about anything, you would have to go through with a fine tooth comb. And to think, there are things that goes on and you have no idea.
It felt like it was yesterday when he told you about Hoseok and this 'lifestyle' he was entangled in, now everything is falling apart and he doesn't even talk to parents. But now he does?
Your head is still spinning. You'll probably never know what goes on until it's too late.
"Well whatever you decide to do, I will be here to support you." You took a deep breath and sighed as you continued to fold the laundry.
"What's the matter? Tell me what's on your mind?" Yoongi asked, sitting next to you.
You dropped the blanket and looked over at him.
"I just find it a little weird that your father raised you up to take over the family, bothered you day in and day out just to give it to Namjoon. Now that Namjoon is running everything, as they say, but it's like he's taunting you. It's like he wants a reaction to you. Now that your mother is upset with him and you want nothing to do with him, he wants to fix this? It's a little odd that your father is doing all this to fix something he broke. He strung you along all this time, told you, you couldn't live out your dreams just for him to make you doubt every relationship you have. He could have just given you what you worked so hard for. I guess I don't understand this type of lifestyle but I just don't get it. I'll probably never get it."
Yoongi sighed as he laid back on the bed. He stayed quiet for a moment, thinking about everything that led up to this.
At no point in time did Yoongi ever think his father would pull something like this. Min is a lot of things but one thing Yoongi could say about his father, if he said he's going to do something, he does it. This was hard for Yoongi. Harder than he liked to admit.
"I'm just as confused as you are, blossom. I don't understand where my father's head is at and honestly at this point, I don't want to know." Yoongi mumbled. "I might not go but I know I need to talk to my mother. To at least ease her mind. The last time I left her, she didn't deserve that. I just want to right my wrongs when it comes to that. She didn't always have our backs when it came to our father but she was always an amazing mother. I will never take that away from her."
"Your mother is an amazing mother. I bet she would be an amazing grandmother." You smile softly looking over at Yoongi. Yoongi smiled and nodded. "She would be very happy. She probably wouldn't let us out of her sight." he chuckled to which you giggled and continued to fold clothes.
"Baby...I have to ask you.." you trailed off to which he hummed in response. "Let's say your father decides to change his mind again and give it to you. Would you even accept it? Would Namjoon would be your second hand still?" You asked, looking back at Yoongi. To which he just shrugged. "At this point of time if he isn't giving it all to me then I don't want it," Yoongi started as he sat up, looking at you. "It is something I can't escape. I have to take on the family, wether my father likes it or not. Namjoon isn't blood and if my grandfather ever decides to come back from Japan, he'll eat Joon alive." Yoongi explains before he leans over and kisses your lips softly before standing, putting his hoodie on and grabbing his keys. You frowned softly.
"Where are you going?" you asked softly, "I thought we were going to hang out for a little?"
Yoongi nodded "We are, just a little later. I have to handle a little business before we can go on our little date." He smiled, leaning over and kissing your forehead. You pouted looking at him but nodding before you kissed his lips.
"Thank you. Now, I will be back in a few hours. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Yoongi chuckled as he grabbed his keys.
You laughed and looked up at him. "Trust me, I won't"
Yoongi chuckled and walked out of the room.
~~~~~~~~~~
Namjoon had his head underwater. He couldn't keep up with the demands of controlling a whole family. Some need direction while others need a job. Some owed money and others are waiting for their payout. Namjoon had no idea what he thought running the family would be like but he didn't think it would be like this. He had no idea how Min or even Yoongi did it with such grace. He knew they had a lot to do but he never thought it would be this overwhelming. He was constantly on go and never had a moment to just think. Yoongi and Min were always so calm. They never cracked, even when everything was stacked against him. The only time he truly saw Yoongi and Min crack was when he was giving the power as boss of the Min family.
More than anything, Namjoon wishes he could communicate with his brothers again, even Jungkook. Yoongi would be able to direct him with ease, Seokjin would stand by his side while Jungkook just made the process easier. He could always go to Min and his father, but that's what got him in this position. Confiding in them too much led him here, by himself. He was never meant to be a leader, he was never meant to work on the frontlines and call every shot that could make or break someone. Namjoon was capable but he didn't have the same spunk that Yoongi possessed.
Yoongi never bluffed while Namjoon wore his heart on his sleeve. Anyone could see his hand before he played it. Everything Yoongi had ever taught him has flown out the window and he no longer felt protected.
He was the most powerful man in the world but he felt powerless. He was the most protected man in the world but he felt as though he was in danger.
"Fuck, what would Yoongi do right now?" He asked himself as he sat in his office, gifted to him by Min along with a brand new house he was certain was crafted for Yoongi. At that very moment, Min and his father walked in.
"Yoongi would probably already have the answer and his next move lined up," Min said, sitting in front of Namjoon's desk. Kim sat in the chair to the right of him. Namjoon shrugged. "Why don't you just let Yoons take over. I'm clearly not cut out for this. I don't feel like I'm in the right position. I'm not meant to be a leader" Namjoon admitted. Kim jumped up to convince his son but Min raised his hand.
"Of course not. I'm glad that we can agree. You were never meant to run the family. No matter how much your father may think otherwise." Min said without a care in the world. Both Kim and Namjoon looked dumbfounded.
"Then why would you-"
"To light a fire under my son's ass. Did it work? I'd say 50/50, not the brightest plan I came up with but it did do the job. I was just expecting a bit more fight in him but I'm positive that he'll come to his senses." Min said, looking around the office.
He looked around at every detail he had created for his son. Min made this whole place with Yoongi in mind, as much as Yoongi liked to deny it, Min knew him like he knew the back of his hands. He added a studio with state of the art equipment, instruments and computers with all the programming Yoongi could ever need for his music. He added a basketball court and a gym. Min even took your interests and added a space for you. He remembered Yoongi telling him that you were into painting, cooking and gardening. So he had a kitchen built for a king with all the gadgets and toys you could ever imagine. He created a study for you that was surrounded by a water wall that could soothe the most stubborn of stubborn babies.
Min remembered everything Yoongi has ever told him about you. It was one of the only times he could talk to his son without pissing him off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"How was class today?" Yoongi asked as he laid back on his bed, throwing his small basketball up in the air while on the phone with you.
You were dating yet but it was pretty clear that you guys liked one another.
"It was okay..." you trailed off, sighing. Yoongi caught his ball before sitting up and frowning, "It doesn't sound like it was okay? Is everything okay?"
"Well," you started, "Nothing made sense to me. I couldn't grasp human anatomy. It's a lot different from my other classes, usually we would take a few weeks to learn one thing at a time but with HA, we are learning it all in 4 weeks. I feel so rushed to learn this and I can't retain anything." You whined. Yoongi chuckled to which you gasped "It's not funny! I'm serious!"
"I know you are but I just think it's going to be something to laugh about when you finally become a nurse." Yoongi started, "I know it's hard, blossom, but I know you can do this. You are the smartest person I know besides Namjoon and I think you are smarter than him. If anyone can do this, it's you." Yoongi said.
That warmed your heart. It gave you the confidence to keep trying, especially since Yoongi believed in you. A small act of kindness, that gentle encouragement, it truly warmed your heart and filled you with a sense of warmth. It was like a tiny ember had been ignited within you, sparking a renewed sense of hope and determination. It gave you the much-needed confidence to keep pushing forward, to keep striving for your dreams, especially knowing that someone as talented and respected as Yoongi believed in you. His faith in your abilities was like a beacon of light, guiding you through the darkness of self-doubt and uncertainty.
"How about when you become a nurse, I'll buy you a drink?" Yoongi suggested to which you agreed. "And when you become that producer, I'll buy you a drink?" You responded. Yoongi chuckled, "Deal"
After a few more minutes, you and Yoongi got off the phone. Min walked in the door with a smirk on his face. "Who has my son staying up all night?" Yoongi's cheeks turned red as he shook his head taking shots at the basket that was attached to his door.
"Her name is Y/n. She's just a friend. That's all." Yoongi said shooting into the basket to which Min caught. Walking over to where Yoongi was, he took a few shots himself as Yoongi gawked about you and told him how much he really cared about you.
"She sounds special. When can I meet her?" Min said, tossing the ball to Yoongi to which his eyes grew wide.
"Maybe when I actually ask her to be my girlfriend." Yoongi said laughing along with Min.
"Is she someone that you'd marry?" Min asked before throwing the ball  towards the hoop. Yoongi snorted before chuckling.
"I don't know about all that. She might not even like me back."
"You're a Min. Of course she'd be interested." Min chuckled patting his son back before sitting on Yoongi's bed. Yoongi sat next to his father shaking his head.
"I'm more than a Min dad, I honestly don't know if it'll come to that. Marriage and things like that." Yoongi said tossing his ball in the air and catching it.
"I married your mother when we turned 21. After we had you." Min smiled "It was the best day of my life beside your mother giving birth to you and your brothers. I would marry your mother 20 times over if I could"
Yoongi chucked and looked at Min, "I hope that's Y/n and I. I really like her dad." Min smiled and rubbed Yoongi's back. "I know you do. Just be you. Treat her like a princess until you turn her into a queen."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Min shook his head at the thought.
"I came to meet you because I need to talk to Y/n. One on one. I think it's time for her to realize just who she's dating."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Another one please."
The bartender, with a practiced nod, poured another drink for Yoongi, the amber liquid sloshing into the crystal glass. Each sip seemed to loosen another knot within him, unraveling his usually composed demeanor. His shirt, once neatly buttoned, now hung open at the collar, a single dark lock of hair falling across his forehead like a misplaced brushstroke. A flush had risen to his cheeks, painting them with a warmth that contrasted with the cool air of the bar.
Seokjin observed Yoongi's descent into tipsiness with a mixture of concern and silent judgment. He noted each glass that Yoongi emptied, each loosening of his posture, each flicker of vulnerability in his eyes. Seokjin's gaze was steady, a silent sentinel amidst the clinking of glasses and the murmur of conversations that filled the dimly lit space. He wasn't one to pry, but the worry etched on his face betrayed his concern for his friend.
"Yoongi." Seokjin called out before sitting next to him. Yoongi scoffs.
"Didn't I tell you to wait for me in the car? I will only be a minute." Yoongi slurred as he finished yet another drink. He lifted his hand to ask for another to which Seokjin grabbed his hand.
"Seokjin-"
"Enough. It's time to go."
Yoongi chuckled but looking in Seokjin's eyes, he knew that he was serious. A sigh left his lips as stood to his feet and followed behind Seokjin, leaving a lower rank to close his tab and leave a tip on his behalf.
Stumbling onto the payment, Yoongi took a second to sober up. He placed his hand on the hood of the car to hold himself up. Jungkook got out of the car and walked over to Yoongi looking at Seokjin.
"Again?" Jungkook asked, sighing.
"You know it." Seokjin sighed, opening the door, allowing Yoongi to stumble inside. Jungkook sighed and shook his head, heading back around to the driver's side. Seokjin closed the door as Yoongi settled inside before finally getting into the passenger side.
The car ride was silent for the most part. Yoongi was too wasted to even carry out a thought let alone a full blown conversation. Seokjin was watching Yoongi's actions to determine if it was even safe for him to go home or not.
"We might have to stop at a hotel in my opinion." Jungkook said, looking over at Seokjin.
"Although I agree, I don't think he should. You know how he gets, he'll start calling Y/n and worrying her-Yoongi give me this" Seokjin interrupted himself as he reached behind and grabbed Yoongi's phone that already had your number plastered over it.
Seokjin showed Jungkook his phone to which they both exchanged disappointed looks.
"I wish he would just be honest and say how he feels. I know his father and best friend fucked him over but I can't stop getting this feeling like something else is going on."
Because it is.
As happy Yoongi is to be a father, he can help but realize the overwhelming amount of anxiety that is weighing on him. He couldn't lie and say he was ready to be a father, he wasn't. Yoongi didn't have the best father figure growing up so he couldn't even begin to say that he knew what to do.
He wished he could tell his mother, she would know what to say. She would give him everything he needed to know. It would be overwhelming as well but he knew she would support him in becoming a father. The first thing she would say is not be like your father.
Min wasn't always terrible but Yoongi doesn't even remember the last time he and his father got along.
Although Yoongi was drunk out of his mind, the thoughts of everything from the past few months still found a way to creep in.
'Maybe I should call Y/n to calm myself down' Yoongi said to himself, lifting his phone to dial her number but Seokjin had other ideas. He watched as Seokjin snatched his phone from his hands and continued talking to Jungkook. Yoongi scoffed.
"It's for your own good, boss. You don't want Y/n to be worried again. You will be home in a few minutes." Jungkook said, looking at Yoongi through the rear view mirror.
"I just want to talk to her. I just have a lot on my mind right now." Yoongi said clearly. Seokjin was taken aback. For a man that drank his life away for the past hour, he still speaks so clearly.
"I think you need to wait until you are sober."
Yoongi didn't argue. He just didn't have it in him anymore.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking in the house, Yoongi didn't say a word. He just walked up the stairs and headed to his room which was weird to Jungkook and Seokjin. Neither decided to question, it was probably best.
Yoongi entered the room and saw you wrapped in a towel, searching for something comfortable to wear. He smiled and hugged you from behind, kissing your cheek. You smiled softly.
"You stink of alcohol, Yoons. Again." You told him as you crossed your arms. He sighed and laid his head on your shoulder both to keep the room from spinning and to provide some comfort.
"I didn't drink too much, baby. I just wanted to let loose for a little bit. I just have a lot on my mind. I just needed a moment." Yoongi said, kissing your shoulder. You hummed.
"Okay, just please don't hurt yourself. You should slow down on drinking. You've been going out almost every other day if not every other day." You said finally finding a pajama set that you liked. Yoongi watched you drop your towel and change. His eyes dropped to your stomach, noticing how it's starting to become a little bit more round. His heart fell to the pit of his ass. You are finally starting to show and time will only tell how long Yoongi has to figure this out. Maybe he really did need his father.
He cursed himself for not being more careful when you guys were intimate.
But he couldn't help but to fall in love with the fact you were the one to give him his first child.
Yoongi wouldn't want it to be anyone else.
A smile crept across his face as he stepped closer and held your belly with such care. It took you by surprise at first but it filled your tummy with butterflies.
This was the first time Yoongi has actually shown some attention to the pregnancy. The look on his face is enough to bring you to tears but you try your best to hold them back as Yoongi takes this time to embrace his child.
Rubbing your belly, Yoongi's smile only got wider as he thought about all the things he was ready to teach his child. He wonder how he would feel feeling his baby move for the first time. How he would feel after finding out the gender. How he would make one of his spare rooms into a baby room or how he would more than likely by a whole house just for the three of you...and Jungkook and Seokjin. How he would get to be there for you through the whole process. As soon as he got deep into his thoughts, he had to come to the realization that this was going to be hard. Eventually, he's going to have to tell the people around him about the pregnancy. At the very least, Seokjin, Jungkook, Soobin and Yeonjun.   It's like a broken record that plays on repeat in the back of his head. Like a song that he couldn't get out of his head. A sigh left his lips as he continued to rub your belly.
"What's the matter, baby?" You asked, rubbing his shoulder. Yoongi looked at you and hummed.
"Nothing, I just hope that I can be everything you guys need me to be. I know I laid a lot on you these past few months and now we have this to worry about. Honestly, I didn't think you'd be so accepting of this. It's honestly scary how okay you are." Yoongi admits. You sigh as well shaking your head.
"Well, it's still something I think about everyday. All the time actually, more than ever now. I still don't know what to expect from here on out. I think it hasn't hit me yet that you are a mafia's son and there are very scary things that you have to do." You admitted. "Right now, it just feels like things haven't changed but I know it will." Yoongi nodded.
"I know that but you won't ever see anything like that. I will try my best to keep all of that away from you and our child. I will do my best to make sure of that. Nothing is going to change. I will do everything in my power to keep it like that."
You nodded at Yoongi as you continued to get dressed.
"I trust you baby. I know you have my back. You have our backs. I just hope it's not going to be a lot." You started before taking a deep breath, "Go take a shower baby and join us after you get done. We really want some cuddles." You say kissing his cheek before sitting on the bed. Yoongi nodded "I think some cuddles would do me some good as well."
~~~~~~
Yoongi fell asleep with you in his arms. His hand rests securely around your belly as he sleeps. His eyes fluttered open as his phone softly rang on his bedside table. Lifting his body slightly, he grabs his phone to answer it.
"Mmm, hello?" Yoongi's sleepy voice filled the room causing you to stir in your sleep, moving closer to him.
"Yoongi...thank goodness as you answered" His mother said softly. It sounded like she had been crying. Yoongi sighed and sat up before speaking again, "Yes, mother?"
The coldness in his voice broke Seo-Yeon's heart. Yoongi has never spoken to her like that so for him to treat her like this has been the worst pain a mother could ever feel.
"Yoongi...please. Can I please see you? I need to just lay my eyes on you. We don't have to talk but I just need to see you." Seo-Yeon begged. Yoongi sighed. You had already woken up by his voice and decided to sit up and wrap your arms around his waist.
"You don't have to beg, mother. You aren't a beggar. You are Min. Remember that." Yoongi affirmed. That didn't make his mother feel any better.
"I'm tired of being a Min. Nothing has ever come good to me from being a Min beside having you guys. My babies. I don't want to be a Min, I want to be a mother. I need to be there for you. It is my only duty that God has given me on this Earth. Please let me be that for you..." Seo-Yeon pleads.
"You'll always be my mother but as long as you are married to my father, I cannot and will not be around you until he right his wrongs. I love you but I have to go" Yoongi declares. He hangs up the phone despite his mother's cries to keep him on the line.
"Yoongi...I understand you are upset but I don't think you should take it out on your mom. She hasn't done anything but what she thought was the right thing." You said crossing your arms to which Yoongi shook his head. As much as he wanted to crash out, he held back. He knew you would never get it and explaining wouldn't help.
"You don't understand. You'll never understand and it's better that way." Yoongi said getting out of bed.
"You don't have to be upset. It's just an observation-" You start but Yoongi has already gone to the bathroom, leaving you there.
A small sigh leaves your lips as you feel your phone vibrate on your side table. Seeing that it was your old co-worker from the hospital you answered.
"Hey darling, how are you! I have to ask you something!"
You smile sitting up in your bed, briefly forgetting the conversation with Yoongi prior.
"I'm doing okay, love. I've just been enjoying all the time off. It gets a little boring at times. I want to go back to work." You say crossing your legs, making yourself comfortable in your bed. By this time Yoongi came out of the bathroom and sat on his side of the bed, scrolling through his emails as well as the many texts he had received overnight.
"You should come back! Your patients miss you! Maybe you can pick up small shifts! Just doing part time?" She said, making you think. "Honestly , that doesn't sound like a bad idea. One or two shifts couldn't hurt." you say rubbing your belly subconsciously.
Yoongi looked up and over at you. You saying you were thinking about going back to work pissed him off more than he'd like to admit.
"Let me know so we can put you back on the schedule! But before I forget," she started "Can you please come to the ball tonight? I know it's been months since you've worked with us but you are still one of us. Please come tonight. We all want to see you"
You smiled and laughed at your co-worker's begging.
"I forgot all about the ball. It's been so long. What time does it start? Maybe I have time to find something nice to wear." You asked as you started putting lotion on your hands. The excitement from your friend's voice warmed your heart.
"It starts at 8pm but the red carpet starts at 7! You have to come get pictures taken." she begged. "I'll be there. I can't promise I'll be there at 7 but I will be there. I just need to find something to wear." You said looking over at your closet dreading the fact that you can't fit most of your nice dresses anymore. "Okay! You and Yoongi better come!" You chuckled and said your goodbyes.
"Y/n, you cannot go back to work." Yoongi said, looking over at you as you got up from your bed. You didn't even give him a response. You just walked over to your closet and began to go through the hundreds of dresses that you have. Yoongi sighed and shook his head.
"Can just one of them fit? I don't want to go shopping." You pouted as you've already tried at least ten dresses and none of them can get past your belly, let alone your hips.
"You've barely grown! Must you make things hard for me already?" You pouted and kicked another dress to the side.
Yoongi walked into the walk-in closet to see a turmoil and overwhelming amount of clothes everywhere with you in the middle of it all pissed.
"Do...do you need some help?" Yoongi asked, setting his phone on the dresser. You looked up at Yoongi, completely frustrated. "I have to find something to wear for tonight."
Yoongi frowned as he started to pick up some of the clothing and put them back onto hangers. "Where are you going tonight?"
"Tonight is the ball thing I told you about while I was still working. My friend reminded me and I want to go but I don't have anything that looks good on me let alone fits." You said throwing another dress to the side. Yoongi watched you throw the dress to the side and sighed softly before reaching over and grabbing it to hang it back up.
"Why don't I take you to my tailor? I'm sure she would be able to get something done for you before you need to leave." Yoongi told you before standing behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"Are you coming with me?" You asked, turning to look at him. Yoongi stood straight and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yoongi..."
"I'm sorry my love. I cannot join you tonight. I have to go down to the casinos tonight to make sure everything is running smoothly. I haven't been to check them in awhile." He admitted before rubbing your waist. You rolled your eyes and shook your head before moving to the side.
"Not to be a brat, but can't you ask someone else to do that. I really want you to come with me." Yoongi chuckled. "I know you aren't being a brat. I just got you spoiled huh? Well I had Namjoon on the job but since he's mister boss man, I have to give the run down to Jungkook. I don't want him to go in there blind. Just because he works for me, doesn't mean everyone will give him the respect he deserves. I need to make sure they treat him as if it was me."
You sighed again and shrugged "Jungkook isn't coming then I assume. Since he is head of security, I would assume that he would have gotten invited. I guess it can't be helped. If you are able, can you pick me up once you are done if it's not too late?" Yoongi nodded and kissed your lips.
"How about I come to get you around 10? Is that okay?" Yoongi asked to which you nodded "That's perfect. Two hours is more than enough time."
~~~~~~~~~
Hoseok was doing his finishing touches to his appearance and adding a few sprays of cologne before heading out to see if the rest of the guys were ready.
"Are you guys ready?" Hoseok said as he entered the living room. Taehyung nodded as he looked around the room. "I do have a question though," Taehyung said, turning to Hoseok.
"Why the hell so many of us are coming to see miss nurse?"
Hoseok chuckled. "Well, Mingi got invited since he works there. I asked Felix to come since he has built a relationship with our favorite nurse. Ji-hoon was a surprise but I'm not against it."
Hoseok's driver for the night walked in and bowed before he spoke
"Good evening, gentlemen. Your car awaits. We mustn't be late. There is to be a red carpet event." he said to which Hoseok signaled the guys to follow him to the car.
~~~~~~~~~
Yoongi's tailor was able to make a beautiful and simple dress for you that fit perfectly. You felt beautiful and boy did Yoongi loved it.
"Maybe I should come with you, Blossom." Yoongi mumbled as he circled around you, his fingers tracing your waist sensually. "No one else should be able to see you like this."
You giggled, "Well, you still have a chance to go with me." You giggled before handing your necklace to him. Taking it in his hands, he stood behind you, placing the necklace around your neck, clasping it together. He towered over you and watched you in the mirror. "I wish I could. Fuck...you look amazing." He whispered in your ear, lightly kissing your earlobe.
"Thank you, baby. I will see you at 10, right?" You asked, walking to the door. Yoongi hummed and opened the door for you. He followed behind you with Jungkook and Seokjin. "You will. Be safe and have fun. Soobin and Yeonjun will take you. They won't accompany you unless you want them to." Yoongi said opening your car door. You nodded and kissed his lips softly. "Okay. I think I should be okay. I don't want them to be bored." You smiled towards the boys to which they bowed sweetly to you as you did the same.
Yoongi watched you guys pull off and head out of the gates. He sighed and got into his car with Seokjin and Jungkook. "I'll drive, let's go."
"I can't believe you are letting her go off on her own." Jungkook said, sliding to the middle seat and putting his seatbelt on.
"She's not on her own. She'll never be." Yoongi said pulling out of the gates and going the opposite way from your car. "I told Soobin and Yeonjun to drop her off, pretend to leave and make it back to keep an eye on her"
Seokjin chuckled. "I should have known better than to think you'd let her off on her own." Yoongi chuckled "You should have known better"
~~~~~~~
"We have no problem accompanying you. We don't mind." Soobin said walking you to your seat. Yeonjun nodded with a smile on his face. "I think these types of parties are kind of cool." He added. You giggled and sat down in your chair. It was hard to finally break away from your coworkers. They were all excited to see you and wanted to know how everything was since being gone. "It's okay. You guys go enjoy yourselves. It's Saturday! I will call you if Yoongi takes longer than 10!" You say with a smile.
"We're not the ones to pry, so please, enjoy yourself. Call us if you need anything" Soobin said before nodding towards Yeonjun and bowing to you before taking off.
~~~~~~~~
You sat there and talked to your friends, took some pictures and danced the night away. You missed having a social life. The only thing different is that you couldn't drink which was okay. You spilled the beans to your friends about your pregnancy. Maybe you shouldn't have done that but they already knew something was up when you weren't accepting your favorite wine or mixed drink. Yoongi said not to tell anyone at home, he said nothing about your old co-workers so you didn't think it would be a big deal.
You finally made it back to your seat to take a break from mingling and dancing. You checked your phone and decided to text Yoongi but before you could hit send, you heard a voice that you didn't think you'd ever hear again.
"Miss Nurse..It's been a while." Hoseok said walking to your table to which your smile slowly dropped. Your heart started to race and your hands started to get sweaty. As you look this man in his face, you wished Yoongi just came with you.
The past two times Hoseok has been involved, Yoongi has crashed out both times. The third time is not the charm you want.
"Yeah, it's been awhile. I've been keeping myself busy. I've been taking up new hobbies." You said avoiding eye contact as much as you could. You were seconds away from yapping away your nerves but you were able to hold it in. Hoseok chuckled and lifted your face to his, forcing you to make eye contact with him. "You know I like eye contact, miss nurse. I want all your attention. You have all of mine."
It was just like the last time he got this close to you. All the air was sucked from your lungs and it was hard to breathe. He had this hold on you and you couldn't figure out how or why. You just needed to find a way to get out of this conversation as fast as you possibly could. You did not need another reason for Yoongi loose his mind. You didn't want to give Yoongi a reason to not trust you.
"Do I still make you nervous, doll?" He whispered into your ear with a sly smirk. His lips gently grazed your earlobe sending chills down your spine. "I don't bite unless you're into things like that."
"Hoseok." Jimin said, shaking his head to which Hoseok only chuckled before wrapping his hand around your waist to present you to the group he came with. "It's so very nice to see you again. You look very beautiful tonight" Yongbok said with a small smile before stepping closer to give you a hug, to which you hugged back.
"Thank you, it's nice to see you and you look great as well." You smile before Hoseok chuckled.
"What about me, babydoll? How do I look?" Hoseok asked you standing closer to you, "You look great too, Hoseok."
As much as you would love to step away from him, you couldn't. It was like your body was unable to move. You were frozen in time. It's like your body forgot how to move. It's like he had a hold over you and you couldn't break out of it. A lot like Yoongi did.
You knew couldn't be love but it didn't feel like fear.
"You know Jimin, Taehyung and Yongbok but," He said pointing to an unfamiliar face who looks an awful lot like Yoongi. "You may not know who this is but he's quite important. Why don't you introduce yourself?" He said looking at the other guy.
"Of course. My name is Ji-hoon. I'm one of Yoongi's younger brothers."
Your eyes widen as far as they possibly could go. A small part of you was excited. This was the first time you were meeting a small part of Yoongi's hidden life. You wondered how their mother would feel seeing him, you thought about how excited Yoongi would be to see him. A small smile grew on your face which only confused Ji-hoon. "I guess Hyung, only spoke good things of me if you have that reaction." He smirked. Then it dawned on you...
"Y-yoongi's y-younger brother?" you repeated, "I bet Yoongi would love to see you..." you trailed off as things started to click for you. Hoseok is not Yoongi's friend...why in the world would Ji-hoon be hanging out with him? Hoseok watched the wheels turn in your head as you backed away from the group of men. His smirk never left his lips.
"Why are you hanging out with him? He hurt your brother. I thought you looked up to him? You and Soon-young..." Ji-hoon chuckled and shook his head.
"He's still saying that sad old story? I never looked up to him. He's a liar just like our ole' man." Ji-hoon shook his head. Your heart dropped. "Why would he lie? There's no reason for him to lie to me."
"I mean, sweetheart...didn't he lie to you in the beginning?" Taehyung looked at you and tilt his head. "He couldn't have told you much. I don't see him or in fact...anyone around. If you knew the truth, you probably wouldn't walk around so freely. If I were you, I question who 'm sleeping with."
Jimin was the first to notice your face fall but Hoseok was the first person to react.
"That's enough. I'm pretty sure, what he has told her is more than enough." Hoseok said watching your demeanor change.
Without another word, you headed to the bathroom. You didn't even look back. Not even when your co-workers called out to you. You wanted to be anywhere but here. You should have asked Soon and Yeonjun to stay, but you knew it would have went a little differently.
A small panic ran over your body as you replayed the conversation over and over.
"How fucking ironic is this? And of course Yoongi would be somewhere else." You rummaged through your purse, looking for your phone only to realize, you've left your phone on the table.
"Fuck me," you said as you left the bathroom only to run into Hoseok's chest. "Oh? I think I like that idea." He smirked, backing you back into the bathroom, closing the door behind him and locking it.
"This is inappropriate...we shouldn't be in here like this..." You said as your back hit the wall. Hoseok was face to face with you. But before he could say a word, all hell broke loose outside. Hoseok turned to the door and instantly held you behind him once he heard someone pounding on the door.
"Boss, it's me. We have to get out of here. Now." Jimin said. Hoseok unlocked the door then turned to you. "Come with me. I can keep you safe." he held his hand out. "This is not-" before you could finish your thoughts, another wave of commotion and yelling forcing Hoseok to pull you into his arms and rush out the back door with the group of men he came with.
"Let go of me! Let. Me. Go!" You said kicking and hitting his arms. Hoseok could care less. He found this quite cute of you. Soobin and Yeonjun finally ran out of the building with minimum damages but they couldn't find you anywhere. Soobin's head turned as he heard you yell out.
"Over there- Y/N" Soobin ran over but he was a tad too late as the car was already gone.
~~~~~~~
Your heart was racing. You were in the car of someone who your boyfriend hates as well as his younger brother who is saying Yoongi is lying to you about more stuff. You were getting overwhelmed with everything that was going on. You couldn't help but break down in tears. You couldn't tell if it was everything that just happened or if it was the baby making you feel emotional, either way you were uncomfortable. All you needed Yoongi more than anything and you couldn't even call him. You weren't  You had no idea where Soobin and Yeonjun were. You were so into your thoughts you couldn't even hear Hoseok calling you.
"Hey...come back to me." Hoseok said, pulling your face gently to his. Looking in his eyes you saw the genuineness in his eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked, wiping your tears from your cheeks gently. You didn't know how to answer. All you wanted was Yoongi.
"I'm sorry about that. My intention wasn't to scare you. I just knew I needed to get you out of there. I don't even know what caused that." He said truthfully. "It seems your boyfriend and father-in-law have more enemies than we know. They were there looking for you in hopes Yoongi would be there." Your heart dropped.
"W-what?" you managed to push out.
"You should be a little more careful from here on out. You are a sweet girl and I don't want to see your name in the news because of Yoongi's selfishness. How long did you go to school for, to become a nurse? And you gave it up. You may not be aware but I remember all the conversations you had with my brother, how hard it was. All the hard nights studying, the tests, the classes, everything, for a man who can't be honest with you?" Ji-hoon added.
Hoseok looked at Jimin and Ji-hoon with the deadliest stare he could. Hoseok could see the change in your demeanor. They were scaring you more than anything. They weren't being helpful. He agreed with them, but there was a reason why Yoongi didn't tell you everything and he can see it all over your face right now. You were sensitive. Too sensitive to be in this life. You just looked down at your hands, playing with the hem of your dress. The nerves in your stomach plus being pregnant was making you sick to your stomach. You became pale and your face was dripping with sweat.
"Hey, miss nurse? Are you okay? Do you need something?" Jimin asked which you mentally thanked them for being concerned but honestly with all of them getting closer to you only made you more nauseous. "Get her some water, she looks sick." Ji-hoon said to which Yongbok handed you an opened water bottle and Taehyung turn the AC up. You took a few sips which did nothing to make you feel better but somehow, you were able to hold it in.
"Sir, Where do I drop her off?" Hoseok's driver asked. Hoseok didn't take his eyes off of you.
"Drop her off at Yoongi's father's home. We may not be able to drop her at her home but we can at least do that." Taehyung said.
"Yes sir. We are five minutes away"
You kept your head down as your hands started to fumble the water bottle. Hoseok placed his hand over yours, breaking you out of your trance. Hoseok looked into your eyes and moved your hair behind your ear before giving you a small smile.
"You don't have to say anything about this night. At least when it comes to this. I'm pretty sure Yoongi would lose his mind if he found out we were this close. I'll keep my word and I won't tell them this ever happen. If you decide to, then that's your choice. I know his temper and I'll back you up, one hundred percent." You nodded slowly, finally disassociating yourself from the conversation and looked back out the window, relieved that you saw Min's place just steps away. Without another word, you got out of the car. You walked to the gates of Min's place when you heard Hoseok's car pull off. When you were for certain they were gone, you started to walk in the direction of home.
You let all your emotions out. Knowing that someone is actively looking for you just because you are with Yoongi is overwhelming. Then being that close to Hoseok and meeting Ji-hoon didn't help one bit. There was so much more that Yoongi hasn't told you and you cursed yourself for not asking the proper questions when he first mentioned it. You shouldn't have been so accepting. You should have pushed back when it came to quitting your career, the one you worked so hard to achieve. Yoongi had a lot more explaining to do. Honestly, you wondered if you even wanted to know.
"Y/n?"
You turned around to see Min, Kim, and Namjoon all in a car heading out somewhere.
"Are you okay? What are you doing out here?" Min asked full of concern.
You couldn't give them a proper answer. All you could do is cry before the world around you became black.
"Y/N-"

Jimin leaned against the polished wooden bar, his gaze fixed on his younger brother, a mixture of worry and frustration etched across his face. "Have you seen her?" he asked, his voice laced with urgency. Jungkook sighed irritably, his expression mirroring his annoyance. "I haven't seen her anywhere. I don't even know if she's arrived yet," he replied, his words tinged with exasperation. Jimin furrowed his brows, his curiosity getting the best of him. "But you're a vampire, a king no less. Why don't you simply command your servants to bring her to you?" he questioned, hoping for a simple solution. "If only it were that simple," Jungkook replied, Jimin poked his head up “Better yet, why don’t you find another? You have plenty of others at your feet.”
“Well first,” He started “If it was that easy, don’t you think I would have done it already? She’s avoiding what she truly wants. It’s just her way of…testing me. She just wants to see if I will go to lengths to have her. Which I am. I don’t want another. I want what was promised to me. I want what I’m obsessed with. You would never understand brother.”
Jungkook had a moment of reminiscing about an intimate moment between you two that almost stopped him in his tracks. Your touches, kisses, calling his name—it was all so addicting for him.  He knew another couldn’t give him what you gave him.
He knew what you were running from but he wished you would just let him fix what needs to be fixed.
He needed you to trust him and trust him fully. He has been proving himself to you for years now. He doesn’t know what else he could do to prove to you that he can be everything you ever needed but that never stops him from trying.
Every time he would get you where he wanted you, you’d pull the rug from underneath his feet and vanish—starting the dreadful game yet again.
‘It’s not safe out here my princess, my queen.’ he murmured to himself looking through the crowd, trying not to get annoyed with all the sweaty humans bumping into him with this awful music playing in the background.
Jimin growled as another sweaty jock bumped into him, spilling their beer all over his expensive suit.
While Jungkook was patient, mainly because you were more important to him than some college boy looking for a fuck and cannot handle his liquor, Jimin was not.
“Don’t lose focus brother. We need to bring my princess home.” Jungkook said as he continued to push anyone and everyone out of his way as your scent got stronger and stronger.
“If one more of these lowlifes spill their beverage on me, we’ll be on the most wanted list.”
Jungkook chuckled as he continued to move through the crowd, feeling your presence grow stronger and closer.
“It wouldn’t be the first time. Hold it together, it’s not much longer brother, I feel my baby.”
You were twirling your hair as you pretended to be interested in what this kid was talking about. He was going on and on about his car and how the blah, blah —you didn’t care. You were more interested in how he tasted. He got into a fight with some guys earlier, and you could smell his cut from a mile away, truly captivating you. You were hopeful he would taste delicious, you could tell from the scent he gave off. Truthfully, that’s the only reason why you were here.
While he kept talking, you looked around the club growing bored with this conversation when your eyes landed on someone you hadn’t seen in so long. A small giggle left your lips as you knew that the night just got more interesting.
‘Jungkook,’ you said bitterly, rolling your eyes the moment you locked a mutual gaze, just being a little teased as you were. Of course, he’d find you here. That’s what makes it fun.
There’s no real reason as to why you were playing this game with him. He’s an amazing guy and he’s respectful. No red flags are to be seen. If anything, it was more of the terms to which you are agreeing.
You wanted to be queen. You even wanted to be his queen. You just didn’t like that his parents already had a planned step-by-step timeline you two had to follow.
‘You need to be married by this date and pregnant with your first child by this date. You need to make these appearances and make sure you are always doing this–’
It was too much for you. You liked to do things, naturally. Your parents always allowed you to do things more naturally, that was the reason you agreed to marry Jungkook because you were naturally attracted to him. You guys hit it off as soon as you had the first ‘date’. Both of your parents planned a ball for the two of you to meet and mingle. You and Jungkook were attached at the hip. You looked like a couple as you guys walked around the ballroom, dancing, talking, just enjoying one another.
He was perfect. He is perfect. The terms? Not so much.
You knew it could be fun but with his parents having their hand in everything, you knew it’d be a pain in the ass.
A smirk grows on Jungkook’s face as he heads closer to you until he sees the man you’re talking to. His smirk instantly turns to a frown. His tongue pushed the inside of his cheek as he grew closer. You followed his eyes on the man and smirked, turning your attention back to him, you gave him a flirtatious nod as if you’d been paying attention to his dreadful rambling. Your hand rested on the man’s lap as you laughed as if his joke was actually funny. You just wanted to piss Jungkook off. And boy did you do a great job at it. Seeing him so worked up and so possessive was toxic but it was the sexiest you’ve seen him.
You are fully aware that you are the toxic one in this relationship.
Jungkook’s eyes were dark as he looked at the man next to you. Once he got close enough he snatched your hand off of the man’s lap, instantly.
“What the fuck are you doing, sir?” Jungkook looked at the man with so much disgust but tried to remain as normal as he possibly could, but you could tell his attitude was flaring up.
You giggled softly as you crossed your legs, allowing your already too-short of a dress raise to show your thigh. All three men look as your honey skin is exposed. Jimin cleaned his throat as he tried to look in another direction. The guy turns to Jungkook and begins to stutter to which you roll your eyes again. ‘Such a weak man’ you thought to yourself.
Your perfectly manicured nails danced across the bar before you slightly turned the guy’s face back to you, tilting your head.
“We were talking, right? Tell me more, baby.” You seductively continue, “You’re so sexy when you talk about cars. Please tell me more.”
His jaw dropped at your voice and how you were talking to him. Jungkook was growing more irritated. The mere fact that you called this low-life baby and not him was fucking him up in the head. He couldn’t believe it.
“I asked you a question. What the fuck are you doing, talking to my fiancée?” Jungkook smirked.
“H-huh?! Y-your fiancee? Sh-she never said anything about being engaged”
The man frantically looked between you and Jungkook as you sat there unbothered.
“Why must you always ruin my fun, Prince, it was harmless,” you said in your native language between vampires to which Jungkook responded.
“Because you’re mine, no matter what you think. The sooner you get that through your head the sooner we can get to the more fun parts”
“I only wanted to feed. Can’t you see how yummy he smells?” You pouted and crossed your arms as Jimin held his hand out for you to hold onto. Giving him a small smile, you took his hand and stood to your feet.
“Come, Princess. Let’s go now.” Jimin said. “I’ll take you feeding later,” Jungkook added.
You rolled your eyes and allowed Jimin to escort you out of the club.
~~~~~~
“Why do I have to chase you all the time? Why can’t you just stay put, Princess” Jungkook asked, rubbing your thighs softly. You laid your head on his chest as your right leg rested on his lap.
“I was trying to feed. That’s all. I was coming back,” you mumbled.
Jungkook chuckled and planted kisses on your neck. He loved it when you were obedient to him. Everything felt so perfect.
“I know you, I’ve always had to come find you to bring you back home, you were never coming back. At least not until you needed me to fulfill your needs.”
“That is not true! You always come to find me and  never give me a chanc-”
You bite back your response when you feel his hands push your legs open. A small whine falls from your lips.
“If I won’t give you want you wa-want when you want it, w-why don’t you take your parents up o-on their offer of finding another?” You pushed out as his hands got close to your core.
“Because baby…” he started, “I don’t give a damn about what my parents want and you’re my property. I own you and you know I’m the only one that can make you feel good,” he expressed, grazing his fangs across your neck drawing another moan from your lips.
“Y-you’re too controlling. You always think I’m doing something against you. I’d never hurt you, Jungkook.”
Jungkook let out a bitter laugh in the crook of your neck.
“Because you do shit like this. Time and time again, I’m out looking for you because you don’t know how to stay still. Daddy fucks you, you stay for a few weeks, then you leave. So disrespectful, baby.”
His fingers worked on your core softly as he listened to your pants and moans fill the car. He had no regard for his brother driving the car who’s getting captivated by your moans as well. You hid your face in his chest as he still toyed with you, your wetness began to pool underneath you. Jungkook chuckled as he began to slip his fingers between your folds.
“Are you ready to stay put and let me take care of you?” Jungkook whispered in your ear.
He had you. You couldn’t escape this man, he has you wrapped around his finger. Literally. Finally, you decided to give up and give in to him.
“Y-yess.”
“Yes what?”
“Yes, d-daddy”
”Jungkook chuckled pleased as you finally came to.
“If you’d stay put like a good girl…we wouldn’t have this problem. Would we?”
" A happy face means a happy place!"
A World of hurt. Pain. Chaos and lies. A place that Taehyung knew too well. It's been constant heartbreak and despair since he was a young child. Once one storm came and went, another would roll in, not allowing him to take a breath, not even a second. And once he thought he had found a friend or a companion…it was always too good to be true. They always used him and took him for granted.
Most would fall into their pity and accept their fate. But to Taehyung, this was his opportunity to change the world around him…and create a new one.
He studied for years. Became an activist, which wasn't hard for him. His parents were doctors and had a lot of connections, although he didn't use them often, it was a nice touch to ensure his new world could take effect. Taehyung even went as far as becoming a general to gain some type of control over the dreadful town, an even more dreadful country. But even if he was well respected and never in need of a thing, it still wasn't bringing him happiness. People still found ways to hurt him and make him feel less than him despite working hard and being respectful. People don't think like him. They couldn't do so.
And that's the problem.
After all these years, he finally figured out that it wasn't him. It was everyone else. No matter how much light you throw into the world, darkness is always bound to be present. He was the light, and everyone around him was the darkness. He figured…
"If everyone thought as I do, or better yet not think at all, no one would be hurt. Pain and suffering can't possibly exist if you can't think. Or if you can't remember your past."
"A happy person with no history"
He decided to change the world as you knew it. He decided to create something that would erase life's "happy accidents." It would be like Bob Ross waking up one morning and creating his world. It's perfect, and since he was well respected and looked up to, it wasn't too hard for him to get everything he needed to begin his New World 2.0 project. After all the tests, all the fails, and trials. He finally got his solution. One simple pill. One pill to solve life's biggest problems.
It was a mind-altering pill. Once consumed, you were met with a state of pure bliss. Nothing, not even a bounced check, could bring you anger. You, as well as every encounter on this pill, became…
Unbelievably chipper.
Even your sight changed, and the world around you became bright and shining. Glistening with happiness and peace. Few people reported that they saw happy fairies and such. You were in a complete bliss of LA LA land.
Amazing right?
Of course, it is. Who wouldn't want to be happy all the time? Who wouldn't want instant happiness with just one pill? Who would dare go against everything happy?
Who wouldn't want to forget their past?
"Finally…" Taehyung took his seat in front of a microscope in his pristine laboratory, something that he had put together once he graduated, he felt accomplished. He burst into your office after finishing up with the biggest smile on his face. "I figured it out! We did it! We did it!" He said, running to you and scooping you into his arms, hugging you tight. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him just as tight, excited for the future.
Taehyung loved having you by his side. You were the one thing that he didn't hate. You thought like him, and he loved that. You had the same views as he did, you helped him achieve his dream. He had so much adoration for you you could say he was in love. But there was a little problem.
You were engaged and, clearly, very loyal to your fiance.
Although you agreed with Taehyung's point of view, you had different views. You thought that happiness is a choice,e but it shouldn't be something that's so hard to obtain. You thought having the supplement could be a way to help ones who need a pick me up, but as you continued to work alongside Taehyung, you started to see things that were a bit…off.
Many of the testers would forget simple things like locking their doors and where they may have placed their keys. Some forgot how to tie their shoes or their shoes altogether. It wasn't too big of a concern, but you did find it odd since this drug was only to change your mood, not alter your mind. Since the pill was still in its early stages, you thought with more work and research, it would fix itself. But you still told Taehyung about it, just so he's aware.
"Everything is moving smoothly. The only slight issue would be that they're becoming forgetful. It's mainly small things like locking doors and tying shoes. It'll come back to them after a few moments, but they forget every time after taking the pill. It's not a pressing matte,r but I thought I'd let you know." You said, holding onto your clipboard as both you and Taehuyng observed the testers. He took your findings and read over them closely, followed by a smile.
"That does not concern me, and it shouldn't concern you either. Some things are okay to forget…as long as they're happy, darling. That's all we care about."
He handed you back your clipboard and gave you a reassuring smile, heading to the exit, leaving you to finish up your work before leaving yourself. You sighed and turned back to the tester to get a better observation. You saw something you hadn't realized before.
While on the pill, their pupils were significantly smaller than normal, and they had a falsified smile plastered on their faces. The smile for sure didn't look genuine; it looked like a smile you would give to someone you didn't care for, but you had to be kind. It kind of freaked you out a bit.
Nevertheless, they all reported being happy and joyful.
Maybe even too happy.
As long as they stayed in this phase, it wouldn't be too bad.
It's too late now to make any changes, in just a few weeks, you will be presenting this supplement. You can't turn back. 20201320 Taehyung put out an ad offering money and the chance to be in a magazine that wanted to interview him and the testers to anyone willing to try out Joy.
The conditions were simple. All they had to do was show up and take the joy, then go on with their daily lives. Then they or their family would come and give reports on how they felt (and)or how they reacted to things. Especially negative things.
You greeted the townies like you did every morning, handing their preferred flavor of joy. Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, or, on special occasions, mixed berries. Stopping at Clara, a newlywed and new mother, you smiled,
"Hello Clara, how's the baby?" To your surprise, she frowns, rather confused. "Baby? Who had a child, beloved?" she asked genuinely, causing you to let out a small laugh, thinking she was just pulling your leg. "No, seriously, what's it like being a mother? How's baby Liam?" you asked again, handing her the supplement and finally seeing her confused face. "Mmm," she started. "I think you have me mistaken for someone else love, I haven't got a child. I hardly have a spouse, darling," She responded, taking the joy and leaving you dumbfounded.
You knew some things would be forgetful, but a child? Especially a child she sees every single day? How could one forget a child, especially one that they carried for nine months? Then something in her switch, she began to laugh as she held her forehead.
"I must be tired or losing my mind. Liam is doing great; he is such an angel for his father and me. Now, how are you and Namjoon? I'm excited for the wedding!" She said with a loving smile.
You nodded with a sweet smile before writing the conversation down to review with Taehyung later. "We are doing good. He is still the sweetest kid, as we knew him in high school. He's been working a lot more lately. We haven't been able to spend time with each other, and I miss him like crazy." you shared with a small pout.
Namjoon is the smartest man in town. Too smart, some would say. He used to work with you and Taehyung until they had a little disagreement over the terms and agreements. Around the same time, Joon got an amazing offer to work on the council, so leaving wasn't that hard. Along with Kim Seokjin, he makes the decisions according to the towns they are over. So, Namjoon will be the golden ticket to get this supplement passed.
Sadly, Namjoon didn't agree with the "joy" pill. He didn't like the fact of someone dictating someone's happiness, even if it promoted safer environments. He thought happiness should come to someone voluntarily, not forced. He hated that you were working on this project because he didn't want to step on your toes. He saw how proud you were. He knew you had good intentions, but he knew Taehyung did not.
~~~~
"How was work princess? Anything new?" He asked,d rubbing small circles against the middle of your back. You hummed, "Work was the same as usual, although something weird did occur today."
Namjoon raised his eyebrow slightly before answering, "Like?" "You know Mrs. Johnson is one of the 20 that we've pulled to try out Jo,y right? Well, today, I asked her about her baby, but she told me that she didn't have one. She even implied that she wasn't married. She seemed completely confused when I asked. Then, maybe a few minutes later, she remembered. She just chalked it up to being tired, but I just don't see someone forgetting the family that they created." You said, wrapping your arm around Joonie's torso and holding onto him tightly. His hand slightly paused in the middle of your back as you continued. "Is that right?"
"Mmm, yeah. Either she seriously lost her mind, or she's an amazing actress." "It's funny that you said that," Joon frowned, "I was talking to Ty'Rik earlier this afternoon, and he told me Clara wasn't herself." You sat up a little, laying your chin gently on Joon's shoulder. "Yeah? What all did he say?" "She's been rather forgetful," Joon continued. "She has no real grasp of reality. She's still her positive self, but it's more overbearing. He could speak about something realistically, not so negative or positive, and she'd become angry. " You frowned and listened to your fiancĂŠ's words.
"Is that a side effect?" He asked. You shook your head. "Well, yes and no. Being forgetful, yes, unfortunately, but being overly positive and offended when someone says something negative isn't. Joy is supposed to suppress those negative feelings, making them disappear altogether. Even if someone around you is being negative, it shouldn't affect a person that's on Joy."
The wheels in Joon's head were turning. Suppose he had any doubts about stopping this thing from being on the street. He didn't anymore. He didn't want to go against you, nor did he want to discredit all the hard work you and Taehyung did, but day by day, he was hearing more things about this Drug that didn't sit right with him. As much as he was proud of how far you've come, he couldn't risk the lives of the townies. "Maybe this isn't a good idea, my love." "It's still being worked on! It'll be perfected so.on" You kissed your future husband. He wanted to believe you. But sadly, he couldn't.
~~~~~~~~~~
The day of the presentation came, and you were nervous. You and Taehyung had been perfecting this for a year, and it all comes down to this. Of course, it still has its flaws, but it was nothing that you couldn't fix. You were proud of this, and you knew Taehyung was just as proud.
"Why should I make this…supplement a part of everyday living? Why can't we just leave it up for the townies to choose, whether or not they want to? It seems a little demanding"
Seokjin asks to look over the paperwork with Joon. Namjoon kept looking through the data, the reports, your notes, and Taehyungs. It didn't match up. Your notes were very similar to Taehyung's but very different from what you would tell him.
"Because this pill will not only keep the people of this town happy and content, it'll keep the crime rates down, and no one will have to worry about their safety, their belongings. If everyone is happy and getting along, there won't be any need to worry. This will be the safest town on earth for children, women, and men alike! Who wouldn't want to live in peace? It's like living in Heaven before you die, and you…"
Taehyung smiled and sat back in his chair before continuing, "You'll be the one man on this forsaken earth Who has 100 percent control over his people. Everyone, everyone, will be dying to know how you did it. How-"
"You speak of the townies as if they're puppets in need of control. They are not." Joon interrupted.
Almost instantly, your eyes shot right at Joon's, pleading with him not to go any further. "I assure you, it's not like that," You said cheerfully, deeply hoping Joon would leave it where it was.
Taehyung chuckled, rubbing your shoulders. "No, no. Not puppets, that would be rude of me. I see the townies as people that need a bit more guidance." Joon adjusted himself in his chair.
"So shoving a mind-altering drug down their throat is the way to do it?"
"Mind-altering? That's insane, that would make me a monster. I don't want to change their mind; I want to change the way they think. Think of it as you going to a bar and having a drink with friends or a lovely night out with your stunning, beautiful wife, you know, Something fun but not all the memorable?" Taehyung smirked.
Your head snapped at Tae, frowning. Joon opened his mouth to speak, but Seokjin raised his hand and looked over at Joon. "I understand you are concerned, Joon, People should have the choice if they choose to participate,"
Joon nodded. "However," Seokjin continued, "I think we should give it a test run just to see how it goes. It shouldn't be too harmful How long does it take effect?"
"It's effective immediately. As soon as you take it, it induces happiness and euphoria, it shouldn't affect everyday life," you said, "It's just like taking a vitamin daily or as needed."
Namjoon couldn't believe what he was hearing. He didn't want to step on your toes or anything, but he couldn't believe you or Seokjin couldn't see through Taehyung's empty promises. Displeasure was all over his face, and he didn't care to hide it.
"You can't be serious? Mrs. Johnson forgot about her child and her husband. Is that not concerning enough?" Joon whispered to Sekojin.
Seokjin nodded before turning to Taehyung.
"It's my understanding that Mrs. Johnson has shown reports of extreme forgetfulness. Forgetting her young child and husband. What do you have to say for that?"
You were choked up. You didn't think Namjoon would go back to Seokjin and tell him what you've told him in confidence. Even Taehyung was taken by surprise,e but he couldn't let it show that long.
"Yes, that is true. Mrs. Johnson is a rare case. We're running a few tests to see if they are underlining effects that we've missed with the batch she had, but I assure you that the new batch does not have the same effect."
Seokjin turned to Namjoon and whispered, "Listen, I say we give them a month, see how it works, and then allow the townies to decide if this is a great choice. Besides," he paused, looking at you, then back at Joon. "I don't think you want to upset the future wife"
"My fiancee's and I relationship has nothing to do with my decisions as a general on this council. So I would much prefer that we keep outside relationships, outside. Here, no matter friend or wife, the lives of the townies are my main concern."
Seokjin sighed and nodded. "I understand that."
Namjoon was stern. Yo,u, of course, meant a lot to him,im and he usually agrees with your mindset since it's a lot like his. But this is something he could never agree on, not even for his engagement. Not even for you.
Taehyung chuckled upon hearing Namjoon's statement to Seokjin. "That's too bad. I'd put my wife's well-being over everything..even the townies." Taehyung challenged.
"She is a townie. She's included"
"But she's firstly your wife than a simple townie"
"In here, as I stated, she's someone who's advertising something for the townies. So for now, none of that matters."
Min has been struggling with home life. He hated that Seo-Yeon wasn’t speaking to him. He hated that he felt like he ruined her whole entire world. They had it all. The money, the house, the cars, and the luxury at their expense. Min could take her to any place in the world. Buy her anything in the world. Didn’t matter the price or the place. He could make it happen for her. All she has to do is say the word. It’s hers.
But nothing he said mattered, all she wanted was her family back. She needed them back. Things have been like this for too long and her mental state couldn’t handle it anymore. Seo-Yeon didn’t want the fortune nor did she want what came with the fame. She wanted her three babies back. They were far from babies but to her they were hers. She never felt so far away from them as she does right now.
Seo-Yeon’s ‘mom guilt’ began to eat her alive more than it’s ever had. Or she’s noticing it more than ever.
“Yoongiiiiiii”
Soon-young whined running into Yoongi’s room with a frown on his face. Yoongi was sitting at his desk, head in his history book, trying to figure out the topic of this essay he needed to do. It was worth more than half of his grade, he couldn’t afford to screw up. He didn’t have time for either of his brothers and their crying.
“I don’t have time right now. I’m really sorry. I need to get this done” Yoongi advised as he began to scribble some notes in his book. Soon-young sighed as loud as he possibly could.
“But Jihoon won’t stop making weird noises. I can’t concentrate on my writing” Soon-young ranted with a frown stomping in place next to Yoongi’s desk before standing on his tippy toes to see what his big brother was doing.
Yoongi chuckled in frustration and shook his head as he turned the page in his notebook.
“What could you possibly be writing?” he finally said pinching the bridge of his nose. Soon-young smiled bright as he jumped around. “I’m writing music, like you!” Yoongi set his pen down and looked at his youngest brother.
“You are writing music? About what exactly?” he asked, most interested in what a 6-year-old could write about at this age.
Jihoon ran in at that moment, holding papers in his hand, “He’s writing about that girl he has a crush on at school but can’t even spell her name, let alone anything else.” Soon-young frowned and tried to get the papers back from Jihoon who was holding them in the air. Yoongi scoffed and stood, towering over his brothers both, and took the paper from Jihoon’s hands.
Yoongi took the papers and began to read through them.
“Actually, these aren’t bad. Yeah maybe you should learn spelling first but overall I think this is great.” Yoongi said, handing the papers back to Soon-young whose eyes were lit up at his brother’s praise.
“You think so? You really think so?” Yoongi nodded. “Yeah. Don’t listen to Jihoon, he’s just being an asshole. He can’t even spell either.” Causing his youngest brother to giggle infectiously as he climbed onto Yoongi’s lap. Jihoon frowned with a scoff.
“No, I’m not, I thought it was good too. I just don’t want too much praise to go to his head. It’s already big enough” He pouted which caused Yoongi to chuckle.
“Well that’s true, he does have a big head.” He teased. Seo-Yeon watched in awe as she watched her three perfect boys laugh and tease each other. She knows it can’t get any better than this.
~~~~~~~~
Sadly, it didn’t. She looks back at every memory, fondly. Wishing it could be her reality once more. She wondered how their conversations would be as adults. Would it still be playful? Would it still be loving? Would it still be her comfort? Or would it be her biggest heartbreak after all that’s happened? Each time one of her sons walked out of her life, it was like a knife stabbing her in the chest.
Once it would heal another one would leave and open the wound once again. She yearned to hear their laughter and praises of each other.
Now with Yoongi, her oldest doing the same…she doesn’t believe her wound would ever heal unless her sons came back to her.
“Seo-Yeon, baby…please talk to me. I can’t handle the silence.” Min begged, holding her hands into his, as he kissed them repeatedly. She couldn’t even look at him. She just pulled her hands away from him and shook her head.
“I have nothing to say to you.”
Seo-Yeon said quietly as she headed down the stairs. She sat on the couch and pulled the blanket over her. Leaning over, she reached the photo album that always stayed on the coffee table in the living room. She sat back in place and began to flip through what she would call, the happiest times of her life before they weren’t. She flipped to page when the lane switched and things began to fall. She saw a picture of their sons, Min, and herself when Yoongi had graduated.
Everyone looked so happy when deep down, they weren’t. Yoongi was pissed because he could no longer live his life the way he attended. Just the night before, Min had told him that he would have to skip out on school to fulfill the needs of the family. Jihoon was pissed because the weight of everything was being placed on Yoongi and his father never gave him the praise he thought he deserved, never even looked his way twice, and poor little Soon-young had no clue what was even going on but he knew something was wrong, nothing felt right anymore.
Everyone was always arguing, yelling, or not speaking at all. Every other night it was either his parents going back and forth or it was his brothers fighting with his father. It was always something. Despite it all, they were together. They were right there, going through it all while being there for one another. She would still be able to come home and make her family a meal, just be normal.
But now, she’s left all alone. With the monster that started it all. Seo-Yeon wished that she stood up more for her children. She wishes that she would have stood her ground for Yoongi.
She wished she would have stood up for herself when she saw the different women in her bed, sleeping with the man she was in love with. Seo-Yeon wished she wasn’t so head over heels for Min but this wasn't the man she fell in love with. He was good to her. Ever since they were kids, he always took care of her. Protected her.
~~
“You don’t have to walk me home you know? I’m a big girl” Seo-Yeon whispered timidly, squeezing her books closer to her chest as they got closer to her home. Min chuckled and shook his head as he kept his arm around her waist guiding her away from the busy street and into the inside of the sidewalk.
“I know, but I have to make sure my rose makes it home safely,” Min said leaning down and kissing the top of her head.
Seo-Yeon blushed and hid her face in Min’s sweater. “Why are you doing this to me?” she blushed.
“Doing what? Loving my girlfriend? Protecting her? Making sure no one messes with her and our sweet seed” He smiled brightly rubbing her belly that just started to show.
“M-min don’t. My parents still don’t know yet. My mom is outside” Seo-Yeon said as she saw her mother walk out of their gate to retrieve a few deliveries. Min sighed and turned Seo-Yeon to face him.
“Rose…I don’t like hiding. I love you and I want us to be together…forever. Maybe we should tell them…both of them. Maybe we could all have dinner and tell our parents.” Min suggested as he held onto Seo-Yeon with what felt like dear life. She sighed.
“I know. I hate it as well but you know…your father is kind of a sore topic for my parents. Especially with your family buying my dad’s restaurant and all…I don’t know how they are going to take it. Especially with a little one coming along.” She confessed.
Things were finally going good again with her family and she didn’t want to ruin it.
Min’s face was painted in anger as he remembered his father and his stupid antics. He pleaded with his father not to buy the building but he hardly ever wins against his father and his mother didn’t even care enough to fight him on it either.
“I’m so sorry my father did that…I can get it rebuilt in another location just tell me what to do and I’ll do it for you Rose.” Min said and in the moment
“We don’t need anything from you.” Seo-Yeon’s father came behind Min and pulled Seo-Yeon roughly away from him only causing Min to get defensive
“Hey don’t do that! Do not grab her like that” Min said reaching out for Seo-Yeon who her mother stood in front of her.
“Leave and do not come back. Stay away from our daughter.” He said pulling Seo-Yeon inside the gate.
Min stood there and sighed. He turned to walk back to his car. Pulling out his phone, he texted Seo-Yeon.
‘Don’t worry about anything. I will fix it. For us and our baby…I love you and I promise to always be by your side..’
~~~~~~
It didn’t matter if she forgave Min or not. Min is going to do whatever Min wants. She could forgive him, sleep with him and he would still go off and sleep with another.
Min held Seo-Yeon close to him. He knew he had screwed up but what was done was done. He didn’t need his wife to walk out of him.
“Rose…I’m sorry. I will fix things with Yoongi. I will call him and Yn over, and I will fix things with them. I will get them back. Just please, please forgive me.” Min pleaded. Seo-Yeon looked up at him with disgust and slapped his hands away from her.
“NO. You should want to fix things with ALL of your sons BECAUSE they are your children! You should want to apologize to Yoongi because he’s your oldest and he’s the one that is going to carry out your legacy! You forced him to give up everything his eyes set on you AND HE DID IT. You shouldn’t want to fix things because I’m upset. You should want to fix things because your kids are your legacy.”
Min was taken back from Seo-Yeon’s outburst.
His sweet Rose was hurt and he was the cause of it all. He couldn’t begin to figure out the words to help her feel better. She was his everything even though it didn’t look like it.
“My Rose…I know that he is my legacy. He is my legacy and I love my son-”
Seo-yeon's voice cut through the air like a sharp blade. Her eyes, filled with anger and sorrow, bore into Min's soul. "No!" she exclaimed, her tone unwavering. "You have more than one son, Min! Yoongi isn't your only son. You have Soon-young and Jihoon, and they are just as important as Yoongi is."
Min's face paled as he listened to Seo-yeon's words. He had never considered the impact his actions had on his other sons. He had always been so focused on Yoongi that he had neglected Soon-young and Jihoon.
"You forced Yoongi not to acknowledge his brothers, and he did it." Seo-yeon continued, her voice trembling with emotion. "Now they hate each other. Soon-young hasn't spoken to us in years, and no one even knows where Jihoon is or what he's even into. You knew they looked up to Yoongi. You knew they were closer than closer! They loved each other and did everything together. He was like a second father to them and you destroyed it! And now, we won't ever see any of them again."
Tears streamed down Seo-yeon's face as she spoke. "You've pushed everyone to the edge, Min, and now you are upset they finally jumped off." she cried. "You've torn our family apart."
Min's heart sank as he realized the truth in Seo-yeon's words. He had been so caught up in his own ambition that he had forgotten about the importance of family. He had hurt his sons, and now he didn't know how to fix it.
"I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I never meant to hurt you or our sons. I had to do what was right for the family-" he started
“So going over your son’s head and choosing his number two was best for the family? Ruining another relationship. They were fucking childhood friends, Min.” Seo-yeon shook her head, her tears still flowing.
“Now, Rose, Namjoon agreed to the terms that were presented to him. He didn’t give a damn about his friendships either.” Min snapped. Seo-yeon laughed through her cries. “As if anyone could say no to you Min, please humor me with another. It’s just like all those women at your bars, they just couldn’t say no to a man flaunting his power.”
Min sighed again, his eyes softening as he looked at the pain in the love of his life’s eyes. If he could even call her that. He knew he loved Seo-yeon with everything in him, he could never live without her but he loved the power trip he was on.
“Rose, baby, I’m sorry. I’m so very sorry.”
"It's too late for apologies, Min. The damage has been done."
Min's heart sank as Seo-yeon pulled away from his outstretched hand. Her words echoed in his mind, "You need to fix this, Min. You need to find a way to bring our family back together. That is all I ask as you are incapable of anything else." The weight of her disappointment was almost unbearable.
Min knew that she was right. He knew that he had made mistakes, that he had hurt her and their children. But he couldn't change the past. He couldn't undo the things he had done. He didn’t want to. As selfish as it sounded. The happy ending everyone was looking for, isn’t going to happen.
Jihoon and Soon-young chose their sides and Yoongi chose his. He didn’t need Jihoon and Soon-young. They didn’t understand the process. Yoongi was next in line as the eldest. That wasn’t going to change.
He looked at Seo-yeon, her eyes filled with pain and anger. He wanted to reach out to her again, to comfort her, but he knew she wouldn't let him. She needed time, and space, to heal.
“We aren’t going to lose our sons. Just give me a chance to fix this. Don’t walk away from me. Please.” Min pleaded once again. Seo-Yeon sighed and shook her head.
“You better.”
~~~
As the days passed, you couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the realization that you were carrying a tiny life inside of you. The concept of bringing another human being into this world was mind-boggling and filled you with a mix of awe and trepidation. Although you hadn't started to physically show yet, your mind was already preoccupied with the thought of the moment when your pregnancy would become visible. You wondered how you would manage to hide it, especially considering how your sleep schedule had become erratic and your cravings for strange snacks in the middle of the night had increased.
Adding to your emotional rollercoaster was Yoongi, who was also experiencing a whirlwind of emotions. While he was undeniably excited about becoming a father, he couldn't shake the nerves that accompanied such a significant life change. His heart raced with a combination of joy and apprehension, and he found himself torn between eagerness and caution. He tried to remain as he had always been but he should have known better than to think that his oldest friend could call his bluff.
Seokjin could see right through that facade. Although he couldn’t put his finger on what was going on, Seokjin knew something was up and it had everything to do with you. Yoongi was always the most jittery when you were around or when someone would say your name.
“But doesn’t Hyung always act like that with her though? Why would now be any different?” Jungkook questioned. Seokjin shrugged and chuckled. “You may be right but I think it’s a little much not that I didn’t think it wasn’t before but now? It’s unbearable.”
“What’s unbearable?” Yoongi asked as he finally walked into his office, irritation written over his face. Seokjin laughed as he watched him plopped into his seat. “You are boss. What’s going on with you?”
Yoongi sucked his teeth and shook his head as he crossed his right leg over the left, making himself comfortable.
“I’m just tired. I haven’t been sleeping the best. My sperm donor has been calling me nonstop.” Jungkook chuckled as Seokjin snorted “Namjoon must not be able to live up to the family name” Yoongi teased.
“Why would we ever think that he could?” Seokjin rolled his eyes and shrugged. “I never thought that,” Jungkook said with a small attitude followed by a scoff.
Yoongi chuckled as he logged into his computer, chuckling again at his last opened tabs of baby supplies and advice he had been looking at.
“What’s so funny over there, Yoongi?” Seokjin asked.
Yoongi calmly closed out the tabs and began to look into his emails before answering.
“Oh nothing, just something my blossom had me look up. I forgot all about it.” Yoongi said.
The three men carried out their conversations until the nonstop ringing of Yoongi’s phone got the best of him. He finally answered with an attitude.
“If I don’t answer the first time, why do you continue to-”
“Damn, I didn’t know I piss you off that bad,” Hoseok said with a chuckle. Yoongi immediately tensed up.
“You should know by now that you do. Nothing has changed.” Yoongi said calmly, leaning back into his chair, resting his elbow on the arm of the chair. Hoseok laughed.
“Aw, we’re not besties no more?” Hoseok poked.
“What do you want, Hoseok? You didn’t call me without reason.”
Hoseok sighed.
“Well, I was just checking on an old friend. I heard that Namjoon is taking over the family. After years of dick-riding your father, I’d be pissed too.”
Yoongi chuckled bitterly as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Please don’t piss me off, Hoseok. How did you get my number?”
“I have my ways. Now, how’s my favorite nurse? Why’d you take her from me? Now who can I go to for special checkups?” Hoseok teased. Yoongi’s expression went dark.
“That is none of your concern. Is this conversation over?”
“Ooo I hit a soft spot. But on a more serious note…I truly am sorry. I would have never guessed that you're father would have done that. Your grandfather is probably kicking shit. Have a nice day Hyung. Hope to see you and my nurse soon.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes and hung up. Yoongi rolled his eyes and hung up. He didn't need Hoseok's sympathy, it made him sick to his stomach but the fact that even Hoseok had to apologize for the bull his father pulled spoke volumes. Before he could even say anything, his younger recruits came bursting through the doors of his office. Soobin and Yeonjun came running in after him, worried painted their faces. They were covered in bruises and cuts. The three men instantly stood in worry. Mainly Yoongi.
You were still upstairs and he’d be dammed if anything were to happen to you in this state.
“Hyung, Hyung! We tried to stop him but he wouldn’t listen.” Yeonjun explained in a hurried manner.
Soobin kept his head down as Yeonjun explained what happened.
Soobin was the more shyer of the two but Yoongi saw something he liked in him. He wasn’t a man many of many words but he knew how to get a job done and take orders. Yeonjun was spunky. He had lots of quarks and a lot to say but he was loyal. The both of them together, got a lot done. Their bickering also reminded Yoongi a lot of his younger brothers. So it was a no-brainer to keep them around.
“Who? What happened to you two?” Seokjin asked. Yeonjun sighed, trying to catch your breath.
“Your father and Namjoon. They are demanding that he speaks to Y/n, alone. I tried to tell him that he would have to speak to you first but he called his men on us. They are in the living room right now. He wouldn’t have stopped if it wasn’t for Y/n.” Yeonjun said.
Yoongi didn’t waste a minute, reaching into his desk, he grabbed his gun and placed it into his belt.
He didn’t want to hurt anyone but since they were already on bs, Yoongi decided to be on it as well.
“You two get to medic and get patched up. I’ll be by to check on you guys later. Jungkook and Seokjin, come with me.” Yoongi said walking to the door of his office.
“Wait Hyung,” Soobin said turning to Yoongi as he past him. “Let me come with you, I can help you. I’m not hurt” Soobin said trying his best to sound strong.
“Bin, you don’t need to push yourself. My father doesn’t get to come into my home demanding anything from you or anyone. Especially not putting his hands on you guys. Let us handle it.” Yoongi said before continuing on to the living room.
“Thank you for talking with us, we really needed to hear from you” Namjoon started but you weren’t ready to hear anything from them.
“Well, I wasn’t going allow you to hurt Yeonjun and Soobin any longer for doing what they were told.” You started.
Min was watching you very intently which made you very uncomfortable. He wouldn’t take his eyes off you. You hated the pressure to talk to Namjoon with him around.
“We’re sorry about that but we need to talk to Yoongi…”
“Then talk to me. Do NOT come into my home threatening my men and interrogating my girlfriend. Blossom, baby, please go back to the room with Jungkook, before I lose any more sanity.” Yoongi said pinching the bridge of his nose.
Instead of fighting him on it, you decided to just follow Jungkook.
Yoongi watched you walk up the stairs before he even addressed Namjoon and his father.
“What the fuck do you two fuck faces want?” Yoongi said calmly before taking a seat on the couch with Seokjin standing behind Yoongi. Min chuckled before sitting next to Namjoon.
“You’re mother misses you Yoongi. She won’t talk to me unless I get you and your brothers to come home.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes. He missed his mother too. She was always someone he wanted to protect but it wasn’t his job to protect anyone that was put on this earth to protect him. It had only been a few weeks she couldn’t be that lost without him in his mind.
“And that is my problem because? That seems like something you need to fix. It’s about time she stood up for something.” Yoongi started, “Is that all you wanted to tell me? That my mother missed me? You need the son you always wanted to come give you backup?”
Namjoon sighed “Stop saying that. You are the son, your father has always wanted. You and I both know that”
“You don’t know shit. That’s your problem. You think you know everything about this life when it was my grandfather who taught your father everything he knows until this day. We both know your father would probably still be sucking cocks on the corner to get by” Yoongi spat.
“Yoongi,” Min said in a warning tone as Namjoon started to grit his teeth.
“I know my father has done a lot but do not disrespect him. Let’s remain respectful”
“Kiss. My. Ass.” Yoongi smirked as he leaned over to his coffee table to grab a cigar.
“Listen, son,” Min started “Things aren’t going as planned and I understand that but please…just please, for your mother, come on the family vacation with us. You, Seokjin, Jungkook, and Y/n can stay in your own place while we stay in ours. Your mother really needs you right now…”
Yoongi chuckled and lit his cigar. He despised his soft spot for his mother and he had to admit that he hadn't been the nicest to her as of late. But could she blame him? He knows she never will but he couldn't live with himself if he didn't apologize for his recent behavior.
“You always loved to save face, huh?” He started “For my mother, I’ll come but once we get back home, lose all contact with me. Including her”
He said he'd apologize, but he never said he'd stick around.
