#GiveACupWithJK on Jung Kook’s Birthday Flash Fundraiser by Distributing Menstrual Cups to People Who Menstruate Across Africa

Together, we can lend a supporting hand to menstruating people!

For Jungkook’s birthday, ARMY wanted to support an organization related to physical health. One In An ARMY invites you to join us in supporting The Cova Project, an organization that distributes menstrual cups to menstruating people across Africa.

About The Cova Project

The Cova Project is an Australian charity dedicated to providing benevolent relief to people in Africa who menstruate and who are experiencing poverty, suffering, distress, and disadvantage due to a lack of financial resources and access to basic necessities. The organization purchases and supplies menstrual cups to local community partners for distribution to people who cannot afford these products. They work with local community partners to provide menstrual health education tailored to cultural norms and language. They also include visuals of the human body created by African artists to build their confidence.

The Cova Project works in two different ways: by establishing its own projects in partnership with local NGO’s/community advocates, and by providing cups to NGOs working on menstrual health, who otherwise would not be able to distribute cups to the number of people who need them. Since 2018, The charity has 5 projects, namely West Point (Liberia), Mzuzu (Malawi), Amasaman (Ghana), Jinja (Uganda), and Nakivale (Uganda). They have supplied menstrual cups to NGOs located in these projects and are continuously establishing more partnerships to help more people have access to menstrual cups.
