One night, every month, Harry is a coyote. Malfoy has a silver tooth. Sometimes, he cuts Harry’s hair.

I really enjoy a werewolf fic - the need for pack/community, the scenting, the hurt/comfort of full moon transformations - there’s a lot of classic aspects that I like.

Now, take those same animalistic attributes, and think about a coyote. What changes? What stays the same? How does that impact Harry?

This fic did a great job of using a known trope and making it new and original with their creativity and I loved it.

Additionally, I love the weird chemistry and energy that Harry and Draco have in this fic. The descriptions were so vivid and visceral that I made faces several times because I was so grossed out.

The enormity of Harry’s desire is its own character in this fic, and I loved that we got to explore that.

I think one of the most underrated drarry moments is the bit in Deathly Hallows when Narcissa has no idea if Draco’s alive but she just assumes Harry will know…and she’s right.

Narcissa: Is Draco alive?

Harry: Oh yeah definitely. Literally just risked my life to save him before I came here. I think he’s still in the 7th floor corridor. Love the new shirt he’s wearing btw. Really brings out his eyes.
