The Temple of Sacred Ashes

Wrath of Heaven Masterpost First: The Beginning Previous: The Mountain Path Previous: Charge with the Soldiers

The party approaches the ruins.

Solas: The Temple of Sacred Ashes.

Varric: What’s left of it.

Cassandra: That is where you walked out of the Fade and our soldiers found you. They say a woman was in the rift behind you. No one knows who she was.

There are dozens of burning/charred corpses scattered through the ruins. The party descends down into the temple to see the Breach in full, passing more corpses.

Varric: The Breach sure is a long way up.

Leliana approaches from behind with some soldiers.

Leliana: You’re here. Thank the Maker.

Cassandra: Leliana, have your men take up positions around the temple.

Leliana leaves with a nod, and Cassandra walks up to the PC.

Cassandra: This is your chance to end this. Are you ready?

Dialogue Options:

General: I’ll try. PC: I’ll try, but I don’t know if I can reach that, much less close it.

General: Can I even get up there? PC: I’m not sure how to even start getting up to that thing.

General: Just tell me what to do. PC: I’m assuming you have a plan to get me up there.

Solas: No. This rift was the first, and it is the key. Seal it, and perhaps we seal the Breach.

Cassandra: Then let’s find a way down. And be careful.

Leliana accompanies the party as they make their way around the temple. A voice echoes out from the Breach.

Voice: Now is the hour of our victory. Bring forth the sacrifice.

Cassandra: What are we hearing?

Solas: At a guess: the person who created the Breach.

The group approaches a growth of red lyrium.

Varric: You know this stuff if red lyrium, Seeker.

Cassandra: I see it, Varric.

Varric: But what’s it doing here?

Solas: Magic could have drawn on lyrium beneath the temple, corrupted it…

Varric: It’s evil. Whatever you do, don’t touch it.

The voice continues as they keep walking.

Voice: Keep the sacrifice still.

Justinia’s voice: Someone help me!

Cassandra: That is Divine Justinia’s voice!

They leap down to the temple floor, and the PC’s mark begins to crackle with power.

Justinia’s voice: Someone help me!

PC’s voice: What’s going on here?

Cassandra: That was your voice. Most Holy called out to you. But…

The voices turn into a scene from the Fade.

PC: What’s going on here?

Justinia: Run while you can! Warn them!

Voice: We have an intruder. Voice (non-human PC): Slay the dwarf/elf/Qunari! Voice (human PC): Kill [them]. Now!

The scene vanishes in a flash.

Cassandra: You were there! Who attacked? And the Divine, is she…? Was this vision true? What are we seeing?

PC: I don’t remember!

Solas: Echoes of what happened here. The fade bleeds into this place.

Cassandra and the PC walk up to him.

Solas: This rift is not sealed, but it is closed… albeit temporarily. I believe that with the mark, the rift can be opened, and then sealed properly and safely. However, opening the rift will likely attract attention from the other side.

Cassandra: That means demons. Stand ready!

The soldiers take up their positions as the PC opens the rift. A huge Pride demon materializes.

Cassandra: Now!

Boss Fight: Pride Demon

Cassandra: We must strip its defenses! Quickly, wear it down!

Cassandra: Quickly, disrupt the rift!

After the PC disrupts the rift the first time:

Cassandra: The demon is vulnerable—now!

When the first wave of shades appears:

Cassandra: More coming through the rift!

When the Pride demon is defeated:

Cassandra: Now! Seal the rift!

The PC begins to close the rift while the soldiers watch in awe.

Cassandra: Do it!

The scene cuts to Haven, showing the townspeople watch the rift close, and the screen fades to black.

Next Quest: The Threat Remains

Rumour: "Business & Hobbies" Could Be The Sims 4 Next Expansion Pack

Note: All this information is unofficial.

Twitter user @Anadius, who has famously leaked several The Sims 4 DLC titles, features and even screenshots in the past, tweeted about an upcoming The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack.

The title fits the Motherlode Season that is set to be announced next Thursday, February 6th. As for the theme, it is something that has been highly requested by simmers for years, inspired by one of the most loved EPs in the series, The Sims 2 FreeTime – which also fits the nostalgia around The Sims 25th birthday.

Beyond those two titles, all we have is speculation. Some people have gone as far as assuming there will be a cars update, since one of the most famous items from TS2 Freetime was a fixer-upper car (also released for The Sims 3 as part of a TS3 Store set). But nothing else has been leaked by Anadius or anyone else.

The same goes for the announcement and release dates. Some say it will be fully announced on February 6th with a release on February 25th, following The Sims 25 roadmap. Others think the next roadmap will be revelead on Feb 6th and a full announcement will happen on the 25th, with a late March release date.

All we can do, besides speculating, is waiting a little longer. No matter what the exact dates are, we will sure find out more next week.

How cute is Olivia dressed as the operation game, with her favorite surgeon! I'm sure with his magic hands, Bryce excelled at the game as child. Though, I imagine, Olivia wiggling a bit to make this version a little more challenging. Olivia also brings her old game in to the hospital on Halloween to let her patients play while she is checking in on them.
