    delilah’s eyes widen at her friend. she couldn’t possibly be serious, could she ? but then again, she always was when it came to bowie. “ couldn’t you get some of his lyrics tattooed instead ? i mean, unless you’re really set on a tattoo of him, i think lyrics are a nice option. oh ! or how about his signature lightning bolt ? that would look so cool, don’t you think ? ”

“I’m not stealing anything,” Jude replied, avoiding any semblance of eye contact. She could tell that Delilah was in a good mood, but at this point, Jude had already committed to her poor act. “You know, you really should close your drawers,” she said as she closed the drawer from which she’d grabbed the ring. “That’s what I was doing. Closing the drawer. Anyway, how was your day?” Jude launched herself into Delilah’s bed, hoping the sudden jolt might Delilah’s attention elsewhere, and reached for one of the chips in her sister’s plate.

    delilah narrowed her eyes in her sisters direction. she knew jude wouldn’t admit what she’d done easily, but delilah was determined to hear a confession. “ hm, that’s so weird. i don’t remember leaving that drawer open, and i’ve been here all day. i only just left my room now to make some lunch, ” she gestured to the plate in her hand. “ must be a ghost or something. you know, i’ve always thought our house is haunted. things of mine go missing so frequently, what else could is possibly be, right ? ” she said, popping a chip in her mouth nonchalantly. “ my day’s been great so far. i’ve been working so much this week, i didn’t realize how much i needed the time off, ” she replied, glancing over at her sister with a half-smirk on her lips. “ what about you, though ? anything interesting i should know about ? ”

kiwi - what’s something that fascinates you ?

the sky  !!  it’s silly, but the sky is so beautiful. from vibrant sunrises and sunsets, cute puffy clouds, to the moon stars glowing at night, the sky changes so much in one day. it also fascinates me to think that some of the stars we see are already dead, yet we’re still seeing their light. 

papaya - what song describes your aesthetic ?

give you my lovin by mazzy star. i don’t really know why, but i relate to the lyrics and the soft instrumental.

dragonfruit - do you drink alcohol ?

yes, but only at parties or social gatherings. and i usually limit myself to like, two or three drinks. my tolerance is pretty low, so i don’t really need anymore than that to get drunk  !!  and i also like to sober up quickly, because i’m kind of...a mess when i’m intoxicated.

as my friends know, i can’t handle my liquor. so i’d say board games  !!  however, they bring out my competitive side, which isn’t the prettiest sight to see.

cherry - can you play any musical instruments or can you sing ?

i am currently in the process of learning guitar after my impulsive purchase. thank you astra, i really couldn’t do it without you. i used to play the recorder in elementary school, but my rendition of twinkle twinkle little star really isn’t that good. i can sing, but not professionally or anything. i love to sing, though. 

grape - if you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go ?

this is so hard  !!  i want to see the whole world, i want go everywhere. i guess if i had to narrow it down, i’d love to go to japan during cherry blossom season. also, i’d like to see paris, france, it’s the romantic in me.

someone empathetic. whether they show it or not, they care deeply about others. someone passionate about something, so much so that they want to share that passion with the world, or the person they love. someone who i can talk to for hours, but also sit comfortably in silence with. someone who can make me smile by just being near me.

it was with isabel in seventh grade. i’ll be honest, i’ve mostly repressed the memory. mostly because i was awkward and had no idea what i was doing. middle school was not my finest hour. i’d like a re-do so i can show her how much i’ve improved  !!

Jude wasn’t going to say she made a habit of going into Delikah’s room uninvited, but it just so happened that all the things that Jude wanted were always in Delilah’s room. Mostly because they belonged to Delilah. So, as was her habit, Jude knocked quietly on Delilah’s door, and upon hearing no reply she barged in to search for a ring to wear that day. Rings were cool, right? People wear rings, yea? Jude was in the middle of trying a ring on her pinky finger when her older sister returned to the room, and Jude consciously and suspiciously flung her hand behind her back. “Oh, hey, Dee. Crazy…seeing you here.”

      delilah didn’t have many days off, so she savored the ones she did. after laying in her bed for hours, she finally mustered up the strength to get up and fix herself some lunch, with the goal of returning to her bed and eating while watching reruns of beverly hills, 90210. she quickly put together a sandwich, adding some chips to her plate, and some fruit for dessert. then, she strolled back to her room, humming to herself, and popping a few chips in her mouth along the way. delilah arched a brow at the sight of her bedroom door being open, when she knew she definitely had left it closed. however, she knew exactly who the culprit was. she entered the room, a grin glossing over her lips. “ hey, jude, ” she laughed. “ it’s crazy seeing you here, too...you know, in my room, and all, ” delilah responded, plopping down on her bed. “ so, what are you stealing now ? or borrowing ? ” she questioned, staring at her sister expectantly. delilah wasn’t angry, she hardly ever fought with her sister. the angriest she ever got was less anger, and more of a slight annoyance. today, however, she was more amused than anything else. she was just itching to see what excuse her sister would come up with.

delilah was born on a crisp autumn night, october 15th, 1970, to be exact. she was born in a tiny apartment in the middle of a college party. delilah’s birth mom was extremely young ( high school age ) when she got pregnant, and wasn’t sure who the father was. she came from a wealthy family, but ran away when she realized she was pregnant

her  birth  mother  also  struggled  with  alcoholism  and  substance  abuse.  those  close  to  her  did  their  best  to  make  sure  she  wasn’t  using  any  of  these  substances  during  her  pregnancy,  but  she  snuck  a  few  drinks  and  pills  here  and  there  whenever  she  got  the  chance

after giving birth to delilah, things only got worse. she continued drinking and using drugs more than ever before, often times neglecting her baby. she attempted to raise her baby with her boyfriend, who was much older than her, but he ultimately was no help and only there for a good time. delilah lived with her birth mom the first three ( almost four ) years of her life

finally, her birth mom’s parents tracked her down and discovered she had a child. once they saw the conditions she was living in, they told her she needed to put delilah up for adoption before the state took her away. so that is exactly what she did, and has been in and out of rehab ever since

delilah was adopted around a year later. at this point, she was nearly 5. she was extremely happy and felt so grateful to be adopted. while in the foster care system, she had met a lot of older kids who had been there for years

delilah’s family was so loving and welcoming, she truly could not have asked for more. 3 years later, they adopted jude and delilah became a big sister  !!!  she is extremely protective over her sister, she would literally do anything for her :’) and their parents clearly loved kids, since their basement also became the hangout spot for everyone

( donna and i are still plotting out the details about their family, but it’s only them and their mom now o: )

lila had to grow up pretty fast, so she always much more responsible and mature for her age. still, despite everything, she always maintained an optimistic outlook on life. she loves life and the people in hers so much, she just has so much love to spread  !!!!

delilah developed a passion for feminism at a young age, thanks to her mother. she would literally print out feminist readings and pass them out at lunch in high school. she’d also give speeches about feminism at school. some people disliked her for it, saying she was too opinionated and stuff, but it never stopped her. she also pretty much always knew she wanted to be a social worker

delilah always sees the best in people. although she acknowledges that everyone has flaws, she’s the type of person who doesn’t like to give up on anyone. she will support you even through your darkest times, and try to help you see the light

she is so protective of her friends and family, like will truly do anything to see them safe and happy. she just wants to remind everyone that they are loved and supported

she LOVES people soooooo much  !!!  she is extremely extroverted, literally a social butterfly who tries to befriend literally everyone ajskdhkdh

delilah dislikes conflict, so she is often playing peacemaker, whether in her home life or with her friend group. she wants everyone to get along, but be able to talk to their differences to come to some sort of common ground. however, sometimes this means shes sticking her nose in other people’s business

she is obsessed with love  !!!!  like this girl literally falls in love 5 times a day with a stranger on the bus, the coolest celebrity on tv, the girl that sits next to he in class, etc. i think she is definitely a relationship person, because she’s a nurturer and wants to be there for people. however, i think sometimes she gets caught up in the fairy tale of it all. like she wants to be in love so bad, sometimes she rushes into things or idealizes the situation in her head, so things might not exactly work out

delilah isn’t very open with her emotions. she mostly keeps them to herself, because she doesn’t want anyone to have to worry about her or anything. she tries to deal with everything herself mostly

she sees the beauty in everything, which is like partially because she’s a huge optimist. she also cannot resist pretty things. she once bought a pink guitar from a thrift store because she thought it was pretty, even though she has no idea how to play. however, she wants to learn, especially because she loves to sing ( this bitch is literally always humming )

is almost always the designated driver. she doesn’t really drink or smoke too often, and when she does, it’s during social situations. but she wants her friends to have all the fun they want and know they have someone they can count on to get them home safely. but btw she is an extreme lightweight LMFAO
