Short Fic (4dow + Stary-Sonic)

Quick little thing..its 10pm and i forgot to do my homework :D

Also..lets say this takes place in Sonic X..? S3 tho👌

☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁

Tired.

That's all the small little fox felt as she quietly scrolled through her Tumblr feed.

Why was everything suddenly so dull and uneventful ? Waking up in the morning was already a chore ! And it didnt help that Shadow wasnt around anymore.

He wanted to 'make the world a better place' so he flew back up into space with the blue blur Sonic to finish off what was left of Eggman and the Meterex.

Why couldnt he make HER world a better place !? What happened to always being there for eachother through thick and thin !?

Maybe these thoughts of hers were selfish..but she couldnt help it..

She missed her cute little hedgie.

And would do anything to see him again.

A soft knock could be heard from the front door. Since the house was already dead silent, Helena heard it and got up to answer it.

She opens the door and is greeted by a soft rabbit. Her old time friend,Me'Re.

"Oh hey...you ok ?" Helena steps aside to let her in.

"Yea..I'm ok...I just..felt lonely.." She says, forcing a smile. She sits on a sofa and looks at her shoes.

"I understand..but..I'm sure they'll be back soon !" She says as she closes the door, walking back to her respected spot on the other sofa, just across the room.

To be honest, she didnt think they would come back.

They have been gone for almost a year. She was certain that they both forgotten about the ones that loved them most.

The men didnt even bother giving them a call or sending them any letters...

Sure, Sonic has been imprisoned twice and Shadow thrown through space and falling down towards Earth on multiple occasions. But they always managed to find their way back to the ones they love.

Helena was so lost in her thoughts, she didnt hear the rabbit hiccup gently across the room.

"I-I thought they loved us Helena..."

Helena snaps out of her thoughts at looks at the little rabbit. She sighs and walks across the room and sits next to her, pulling her into a hug.

"No need to cry...its ok...maybe one day they will come back."

Stop lying.

They wont come back.

They never will...

Helena teared up alittle gripping the small girls shirt gently.

"O-Of course they w-will come back Me-Me ! D-Don't be foolish !"

They were both foolish if they think they'd come back after a year.

Face it...they...were gone.

She broke down. And it seemed like she wasn't gonna calm down for hours on end.

All they had was eachother for the time being.

No friends.

Just eachother.

Hours went by and the two had cried eachother to sleep on the couch. They didn't bother locking the front door for safety...

Not like anyone would come in..

The time read 1:55am.

The front door gently opened to reveal, yes, two extremely tired and beaten up hedgehogs.

To clarify, fighting in space was very hard for the two amateurs. Sonics speed abilities were limited due to the lack of gravity and so were Shadows chaos abilities, due to the fact that the Meterex had all 7 of them. The first plan of theirs was to beat the emeralds out of the Meterex and find them all before they could. Classic yet dumb Sonic move.

Just that alone took them months.

The galaxy was so big...and....endless...

The REAL fight probably only took them an hour or two.

They obviously win the fight. The Meterex was destroyed for good..and well...so was Eggman.

The fight took a toll on their physical forms though.

Sonics eye was scratched up, leaving him somewhat blind and his legs were damn near broken due to all of the kicking he's done. Shadow on the other hand was slightly worse. His body was weak, fur discolored. Bloodshot eyes and broken fingers. Not only that, but scars littered both of their small bodies. Lets just say...these men aren't very..pretty while angry.

Anyway, the present.

The two hedgehogs walk into the small house and sit on the couch.

"Damnit...I can't feel my arms.." Shadow growls out as he lays down.

"Haha..my legs...theyre so numb !" Sonic awkwardly laughs as he lays next to him.

They silently stare up at the dark ceiling for awhile..

"Do you think they remember us Shads..?"

"....Dont be stupid Sonic...of course they remember us.."

Sonic shivers a bit and turns to face him

"What if they're mad...? What if they dont love us anymore !? What if--"

Snoring cuts him off.

He stares at Shadows peaceful sleeping form and sighs.

"Guess we'll see tomorrow" he tries his best to shift into a comfortable position and rests easy.

Finally free.

Finally home.

Morning time ✨

It was 11am.

Shadow yawns and jolts up. He frantically looks around the room.

So comfortable...so..soothing..

He examines the room...

And his heart instantly melts.

The first thing he notices is his beautiful lover and her bestest friend cuddled on the couch fast asleep.

His emo heart throbbed at the pure and gentle scene. He tapped Sonic on the shoulder to wake him. Sonic, being a gentle sleeper after a year of constant battle, woke up instantly. He looked at Shadow and then directly in front if him.

Gah two mushy hedgehog hearts..

Sonic blushes at the sight of his baby craddled in Helenas arms. Hes quick to notice dry tears staining both of the ladies pretty faces.

And well..

Tears start to stain both of their faces as well.

"Damn..we really have been gone for a long time havent we...?" Shadow huffs out looking over at the azure hedgehog

"Y-Yea...I...I guess so" He wipes his tears away and sniffs softly.

"God I missed her" they sung in unison.

This of all things woke Helena up.

She yawns and looks down at Me'Re. She squeaks and eventually wakes up too.

"Good morning Me'Re..".she smiles at her

"Good morning.." She smiles, still tired.

"....good morning.." The hedgehogs once again sang in unison. More quietly this time however

The pair are quick to snap their heads towards the sound and they freeze.

They quietly stare at eachother.

Mind racing.

Heart racing.

Were they really here...? Alive ? Well ?

Still theirs ?

Helena is the first to stand up. She awkwardly and slowly walks towards Shadow.

She cups his cheeks and stares into his shiny ruby eyes.

God how she missed those eyes...

"...Shadow..?"

"...hi...Blue Stripe..."

She cries instantly and passionately kisses his slightly chapped lips.

So much love and care went into that one kiss.

One kiss. That she hoped would never end..

As the two slowly start to kiss even more passionately, Me'Re is still staring at Sonic And sonic still staring at her.

Its almost as if their brains havent fully comprehended what was happening.

This wasnt a dream.

It was a reality.

So..to make sure his mind wasnt playing games on him again, Sonic attempted to get up but fell back down due to the numbess in his legs.

He hisses and rubs his legs, attempting to wake them from their never ending slumber but, of course, failed.

Me'Re quickly gets up and runs over to him, helping him on his feet

"..a-are you ok 'nikku ?"

"I-I..."

He stares into her eyes and analyzes them more closely.

"I dont think I'm dreaming.." He says as he gives her a gentle hug.

She's quick to start crying and hugs him back.

Shadow breaks the kiss and hugs Helena tightly, tight enough to remind himself that she was there. Finally in his arms again. Where she belonged.

"I missed you..way too much..." He whispered in her ear, a tear seeping its way out of his eye. Helena, on the other hand was a crying mess.

"I-I-I-"

"Shhh..its ok..save your voice.."

They stay locked in that position. And they didnt dare move.

They needed this

They needed eachother.

Sonic is quick to pull away and stare at her again.

"My god..its the eyes I fell inlove with."

Me'Re blushed and looked away, though Sonic is quick to put a finger under her chin and make her look at him.

They kiss.

Not as long as edgelord and the artlord in the corner though.

But still sweet, nonetheless.

They break it and sit on the other couch aross the room. Sonic lays on his back and Me'Re lays ontop of him.

"Promise me Sonic..."

"Hm ?"

She cries again and looks into his dreamy eyes.

"P-Promise you wont leave me alone like that again..."

Helena is quick to look at Me'Re then back at Shadow, who simply nods his head and pecks her forehead.

Sonic looks over and Shadow who smiles warmly at him.

He looks back down at her

"I....no....WE promise."

Indoor Pool

Helena was quietly outside sketching the scenery. Coconuts falling off the palm trees..the sun was out...and Shadow gets his break month starting today! Shadow told Helena that he'd have a big suprise for her when he gotten home and she honestly can't wait for it. "Wonder what the suprise could be...mabye it's a new sketchbook and set of colors to complete my new set" Helena dreams with a dreamy sigh. Helena hears foot steps and quickly runs inside so she could greet her boyfriend at the door. "I'm home Helena!" Shadow exclaims with a humongous box behind him. "Oh sweetheart do you need help with that?" Helena says running over to him. Shadow grunts, pulling the box inside. "Grr! N-No I got it...don't want you to strain yourself of course!" Helena hopelessly watches her boyfriend drag in a box that was 5x as big as he was. Finally, it was inside. "So..whats inside of the box..?" Shadow looks over at her "How does...an indoor swimming pool and refreshments down stairs sound like?" Helena bounces in place smiling like a goof "Oh Shady that sounds AMAZING!" She says giving him a big kiss. He blushes a bit with a smile and grabs his pocket knife so that the box can open. "I'll need some help assembling this...can you call over Sonic and his girlfriend so we can all hang out?" Helena quickly picks up her phone and calls Me'Re's cell. "Hello?" "Me'Re! You will not believe this!" "W-What is it? Nothing bad right??" "Of course it's nothing bad! Probably the best thing EVER! Just...bring your swimsuit and your boyfriend mabye?" "Sure! Sounds like fun already! We will be there mabye in 30 minutes?" "Sounds great! See you soon~!" Helena hangs up the phone and gives Shadow a big hug from behind, surprising him. "Oh Shadow this is the best thing EVER!" Shadow laughs a bit "I'm so surprised you like it so much..it is very big though! Could you help me take this down stairs??" Helena akwardly looks at the big box and smiles "U-Umm...of course! Yeah!" Shadow picks up one side of the box and Helena quickly dashes to pick up the other side. "Ok Stripe! Walk forward nice and slowly ok?" "Got it!" She slowly walks forward while Shadow walks down the stairs looks back while taking each step. Helena was more focused on what was on the floor than the actual box. She doesn't wanna trip and fall down of course! "S-Stripe? The box!" Helena quickly comes back to Earth and grabs the bottom of the box and lifts it up "Sorry Shadow! I was looking down at the floor!" Shadow should do the same to be fair. "It's fine.." He takes another step down and misses it, forcefully falling down the steps smashing into the wall. Helena lets go of the box. "Shadow?? What happened?" Helena says concerned because of the noise. Shadow rubs the back of his head mumbling curse words. "It's ok Helena! I just fell down the stairs..can you push the box down here?" Shadow says standing up. Helena nods her head and pushes the big box down the stairs as hard as she can. Shadow opens his arms and grabs the box, pushing his heels into the ground so that he wouldn't get squished. Helena quickly runs down the stairs and to assist Shadow with the box until the door rings. Helena shouts "IT'S OPEN!!" It rings again. Helena shouts again "THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED!!!!!" And again. Shadow growls "THE DOOR IS OPEN DAMNIT!!" The door opens. "Sorry! Couldn't hear you at first!" Sonic says sprinting down stairs. "Woah Shadow! What is this??" He says curiously and amazed. Shadow grunts trying to keep the box from crushing his girlfriend whom was holding up the other end. "It's a pool Sonic!! Now help me with it!" Sonic quickly dashes behind Helena and holds up the box. "I...I got this Helena!" He says with a friendly wink. Helena lets go of the box "Thank you Sonic!" She quickly hurries along up stairs. The two hedgehogs put the box down and starts assembling the pool while the girls upstairs gets refreshments from the kitchen. "So Helena..?" Me'Re nervously asks. "Yeah whats up?" She says cutting open a coconut. "I was wondering where I can change into this swimsuit? I haven't been in here before but...I guess my silly hedgehog has" She says with a giggle. Helena chuckles a bit and point to her room "You can use my bathroom to change. Help yourself to whatever you need in there as well ok?" Me'Re nods her head and runs into her room. "HELENA??" Shadow shouts. He sounds exhausted. "YES SWEETS?" "Can YOU COME HERE REALLY QUICKLY!?" Helena puts down her knife and hurries down stairs. "Yes love?" Shadow hammers a nail into the destroyed wood on the floor while Sonic builds the pool. "Can you get the hose from the back please?" "Sure can!" Helena opens the back door and grabs the hose. Shadow opens the window "Hand it over...I'll tell you when you can turn the nob ok?" Helena gives him the hose and nods her head. Shadow climbs up the latter and hands Sonic the hose. "All set Stripe!" Helena runs over to the nob and turns it until she couldn't anymore. The water starts to quickly spray, lifting Sonic off of his feet. "Woah haha! It's filling up pretty quickly! Shadow can you take over? I wanna go check up on Me'Re" Sonic points the hose in a different direction and he floats over to where Shadow is. He takes the hose from him and fills it up. Me'Re leaves Helenas room curiously looking around to find her. She shrugs and opens the fridge to make some lemonade. "Wheres...the sugar?" She mumbles to herself. "Here~" Me'Re quickly turns around only to see Sonics smiling face and the bag of sugar. Me'Re smiles and grabs it from him. "Thanks Sonic.." "You're welcome Me-Me" She blushes and quickly grabs a litter from the cabinets. "So...hows progress on the pool?" Sonic rubs under his nose. "Oh it's almost done actually! We we're just filling it with-" "TOO MUCH WATER!!" Shadow exclaims. "Water....Let me go assist them..." Sonic akwardly says running down the stairs only to gasp very loudly. "Helena!! Stop the hose!" Helena, who is in tears, tries to turn off the nob "I'm trying! It won't turn!" Shadow quickly takes off his glove and puts it over the hose to temporarily stop it. He puts it down and runs outside to assist his girlfriend. Shadow puts his hands over hers and turns the nob with ease. Helena pants a bit from all of the tenseness. "Shadow I'm sorry.." Shadow wipes her tears with his ungloved hand "It's ok Helena no need for tears here..now lets go inside." Shadow grabs her hand and walks her inside. Sonic, who is now soaking wet, takes off his shoes and socks so they can dry. "Well at least the pool is done now. It just has...too much water in it.." He irritatingly says. Shadow snaps his fingers and a ruby emerald appears. "Chaos...CONTROL!" The pool poofs a bit. It has a decent amount of water in it now and it is heated up a bit! Thanks Shadow! Me'Re quickly runs down the wet stairs with a big watermelon in her hands "I-I finished up the refreshments! I just have to go get the rest!" She trips over the last step and falls down. But no impact. "Please be more careful Me'Re" Shadow had grabbed her arms before she could fall. How helpful he's being right now! Me'Re looks down "Of course..Thanks" She picks up the watermelon and puts it on the table. "I'll change and be back with some chips!" Helena says walking up stairs. Shadow looks at his watch. 4:56 PM. "Hmm...I'll cook some burgers! I'm in a burger mood right now!" He says going upstairs as well. Me'Re grabs the conveniently placed knife and starts to cut the watermelon. Sonic dries off his quills and walks over to her, putting his hands on her waist. Me'Re blushes and stops cutting the watermelon. "Sonic...?" "When we go swimming...can you promise to not let go of me?" He says with slight fear in his voice. She giggles and continues to cut the watermelon "Of course I won't let go of you! Sonic grabs her hand. "Let me cut it with ya!" She nods her head and they both continue to cut the watermelon together. Helena leaves her room and walks to the fridge. "Hmm..which bag which bag...classics are always good!" she says standing on her tippy toes trying to grab them. "Ugh it's so high!!" she stretches with all her might until she hears Shadow clearing his throat. She looks over at him and akwardly laughs. Shadow smiles and grabs the bag for her. "You know you could've asked for help shorty~" He teases. Helena playfully snatches the bag out of his hand "Shush Shadow!" Shadow smirks and opens the freezer to find some patties. Once he finds them he walks out only to stop for a brief moment "You look cute by the way..." He says before walking down stairs. Helenas tail wags for a bit before she runs down stairs as well. Me'Re and Sonic have one more piece of the melon to cut. "I enjoyed cutting that with you to be honest" Sonic says chuckling. Me'Re keeps a smile on her face "I did too.." Helena finally reaches the bottom and puts the bag next to the watermelon slices "Now we wait for Shadow to finish up the burgers!" Me'Re finished the watermelon and gently licks the blade. "Thats great! I feel as if we need something else...the coconuts and lemonade! S-Sonic?" "I got it!" Sonic gently takes the knife out of Me'Re's hands and dashes upstairs to grab the lemonade and coconuts. 20 minutes later Shadow comes inside with 8 burgers on a plate "Two for each! Hey...wheres the faker?" Speak of the speed demon as he runs down the stairs with coconuts on one plate and lemonade on the other. "Lets get down!" Sonic says, putting the plates down. Me'Re kisses Sonics cheek "Thanks a bunch Sonic.." Sonic rubs under his nose "That's no problem!" Helena grabs a coconut and gives it to Shadow "I'm proud of you Shadow..." He takes the coconut and looks at her "For putting together the pool?" "Yes AND no! I'm proud that you put this whole thing together! The burgers Bringing it down stairs stopping the hose...I'm very happy that you can relax now.." She says putting her hand ontop of his. Shadow blushes and smiles proudly "You know what? I'm proud too!" He says taking a big sip out of his coconut. They all get in the pool. Splashing around playing games eating and drinking alot of good stuff. In the end it was all worth it. After 4 hours of fun, Sonic and Me'Re left to head home. "Hey..Shadow?" Helena asks climbing down the latter "Yeah Stripe?" Shadow answers, grabbing her waist and pulling her down. "I really love you alot....ya know?" "I love you alot more.." Shadow says giving her a big kiss. 💙End💙

Some Fiction!

I have been active in like a month because I've been lacking inspiration... So...as a treat, here's some fics! I'll post them all separately -------------------------------------------------------------------- 4dow -Anger Issues- It has been 4 months into their relationship and she felt like they were very distant. They don't spend alot of time with each other. Shadow works all day and comes home late at night and Helena does art commissions until she passes out. The only time they can have together is on Saturdays when Shadow is off from work and when Helena declares it her break day. Fortunately, that day was today. The two love bugs were in bed sleeping quietly. Until Shadows alarm went off. He must've forgot to cancel his alarms for Satruday again. "Ugh...damnit" He growls smashing the snooze button and going back to sleep. 5 mins later.. "BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP" "UGH SWEET CHAOS!!" He jerks it out of the plug and throws it aganist the wall until it breaks completely. This loud noise startled Helena in her sleep. Her ears folded over each other and she curled into a ball. Shadow quickly noticed and cursed at himself. "Shad..." Shadow looks over at her "Hm..?" "...why are you...so aggressively loud..?" Shadow sighs "Sorry" She gets up onto her feet and stretches her arms. "I think we need therapy!" "T-Therapy? I don't NEED that!" Shadow argues. Helena walks over to his side of the bed and pulls his arm "C'mon Shady, it will be a GREAT experience for ya!" Shadow sighs, noticing the stars in her eyes. Something he couldn't help but love. "Alright then..." Off they went! Helena was so excited, she went in her sleeping clothes! Shadow on the other hand.... Not so much. Soon they made it. Shadow didn't want to be seen at some kiddy place to talk about your feelings! He was a MAN! He didn't need this!! "Hello dearie~" Shadows ear twitched. Helena quickly turned around and noticed someone. Rouge the Bat. Who knew she, of all people, would work with therapy! She was a thief for chaos sakes!! "R-Rouge!? W-Wha--" Rouge puts her finger over his mouth. "You talk too much~ Why don't we go back into the room and talk about your problems~?" Shadow blushed and pushed her away "Sweet CHAOS no! Not with someone like you!" "Aww come on WHY NOT? I just wanna help ya with your problems~" And so they argued. And Helena just stood back and watch it all happen. Was Rouge trying to flirt!? Heck no! Helena IS a shy girl however so she just stood over to the side. She felt like leaving them alone and just work with commissions but something was telling her to say something. So she did "U-Umm...excuse me??" Rouge looks over at her with a frown "I ermm..don't want you to...uhh..." She was lost in her own words. She was so nervous that she forgot what she was gonna say! She just wanted to go home. "Yeah? Spit it out." "Why ARE you here??" Dangit Helena you was supposed to tell her to back off!! "Nosey thing you!! I am working here because of the traumatizing things I've seen while working with G.U.N. I want to be able to help other people with their problems too!" Helena put her foot down "Problems huh!? Well I HAVE a problem! I have a probelm with you being all up on MY hedgehog when YOU can get your own dang hedgehog! I earned this FAIR and SQUARE!" She screams while squeezing Shadows arm. "And if you even THINK about taking him back there, I will personally bring my friend up here and have her suffocate you in a BUBBLE!" Woah that was out of character.. Helena lets go of Shadows arm and runs back home. Shadow was completely speechless. He just awkwardly stood where he was. He has never seen such a angry and vicious side of her before... He looked over and Rouge who looked HOT. Her face was red from anger and she looked like she was ready to legit fight for days. But Shadow ran off after her before she could even do anything. She had ended up near on a beach crying her eyes out whike kicking the sand. "Freaking stupid bats! I dont even LIKE bats! Their loud! A-And........LOUD!!" Helena kicked softer "and have a bigger bust and...looks more attractive..." She stopped kicking "And...don't have problems like I do.." She then sat down and stared into the water. She gasped when she saw Shadows reflection right above hers. "Shadow..?" She looked at him while he took off his shoes and socks. He sat down and put his feet in the water "While yes you do have your problems..." Shadow looked over at her and gently grabbed her hand "You have someone like me to help you with them.." His eyes shoned brightly while he said this, making Helena blush uncontrollably. Shadow quickly pecked her lips and turned away, blushing. Helena started to go crazy but immediately calmed herself down "I uhh..guess we both have anger issues Shad.." "..Yeah. You should really apologise to Rouge though." She smiled and looked up at the beautiful blue sky. "I will" (Please excuse the typos if any are present. I am in bed and just typing what comes to mind..)
