Okay I am pretty new on tumblr but I keep seeing the recurring theme of like,,, wildly differing abilities of alphas and omegas (nevermind betas, that's too much to start with)

Like,,, how come some people think alphas cant purr? Are they like ? Missing that part in their throat? It just doesn't make sense to me.

I guess it's some part of our real world "women/men are like a different species" bleeding into it but man, ain't reshuffling the norm the point of omegaverse? There's mpreg, scenting, but alphas can't do a little throat vibration 🤨

Thinking about the psychology of architecture/interior design. How would that be in the omegaverse?

What would cookie cutter housing look like?

Would studio apartments still be a thing in a world where packs are the norm?

Perhaps it would be more common to see three bedrooms over two, or perhaps even more "convertible" rooms in order to fit the needs of any sized pack

A new designated room as the "pack" or perhaps "nesting" room, away from the doors/receiving areas

Much larger space to store outdoor shoes lmao

Would basements become an integral part of the house for heat/rut "bunkers" of sorts. or perhaps once again to be a convertible space for whatever the pack needs?

Is it too much to want to dress a dragon in delicate but slim silk and other fine fabric drapings, as well as many a fine metal ring or piercing on their horns, wings, or digits? Not too much to be cumbersome and restrict movement, but just enough to highlight their form and finer features? Is it too much to want to be a dragon’s stylist?

I’m having a head canon of Omegas making them and partner’s sleeping bed as a nest, like would it work?

Oh for sure! I think permanent or semi permanent nests are totally a thing! It would probably be very common because it’s also space conscious. So if you live in a smaller place you might not have space to set up a nest as well as everything else you need but you do have room for a bed! Nesting under beds as well is also an option especially if it’s a higher bed because that means more space.

Nesting in the bed you share with your partner can cause some issues though if you are territorial or protective of the nest. Some omegas don’t want anyone else in their nests and that’s totally fine but then their partner is gonna have to be okay with sleeping on the couch.

This also just made me think of an omega nesting around their sleeping partner. Their partner passed out after a long day at work and their omega wants to comfort them and starts building a nest on their bed around their partner. Imagine waking up to find that your omega has surrounded you by all the soft and nice smelling things in your house.
