for me?
Frank Castle x f!reader | wc ~1.7 k | explicit, mdni | ao3
summary: Frank's lap is the best place for dry humping and being fingered
warnings: no y/n, barely any plot except ✨they are fwb and in denial✨, making out while sitting in Frank's lap, dry humping until it's not, fingering (f receiving), Frank talking you through it, finger sucking because it's me, squint and you miss possessive Frank, affectionate smacks on the ass, petnames (pretty girl, 1x attagirl 🫦), hand on the throat but just for the aesthetics, pussy pronouns, dm me if I missed any, not beta'd because I'm rebellious
a/n: another drabble for my follower milestone event, thank you nonnie for requesting "and what do we have here?". i just need to ride Frank so bad, blame this month's ovulation. 😩 a big thank you and a smooch to @guiltyasdave for literally sitting with me while I was writing this 💛💛💛
There were too many feelings for something casual. For something to just take the edge of.
“You're needin’ me too much, pretty girl,” Frank says when he rests his head in your lap.
“We shouldn't meet this often, just makes things complicated,” you say when you put your stuff in a drawer he has emptied out for you.
“Can never make you happy,” he whispers against your forehead before he places a lingering kiss there.
Maybe you both turned blind to the obvious. Or just got comfortable in the coziness of your ignorance. Whatever it is, neither of you wants to stop playing pretend. Just friends. Just casual. No big deal. We can stop anytime, you both say, like addicts lying straight to themselves.
“Don't need you,” you murmur and climb into his lap.
“Don't need you either,” he replies, gruff voice polished all soft in the crook of your neck.
“Just want you.”
“Mhmm,” he hums, his hands roaming up your thighs to your ass and he pulls you deeper into his lap. Wanting you to feel him.
You learned quickly that there were hardly any boundaries for Frank's hands. What they wanted to break, they broke. What they wanted to rip open, they ripped open. What they wanted to touch, they got to touch.
“Frank,” you whine quietly, pushing back into his hands, dragging your lips up his neck and along his jawline. Whining again when his dark scruff burns on your lips. Yelping when he smacks you and kneads your stinging flesh.
“I know, pretty girl,” he mutters into your ear and nips your earlobe.
He knows. You see it in his eyes the moment before you start kissing. Making out, your hands gripping the backrest of the couch and the back of his neck. He knows you need him. Want him. Not just benefits and friendship.
“Jus’ like that,” Frank grunts, sucking your lip between his. His hands, unbounded in their will to unravel you, start pulling and pushing. Guiding you in your movements when you need no guidance. You let him move you willingly.
He drags you over all the hard parts, belt and bulge. He draws soft sounds out of you, soft and sweet, and he eats them right out of your mouth.
It's leisurely, rolling and rubbing against each other just for the sake of getting drunk on each other, desperate for the other one, hungry for the feeling of hot skin on hot skin. Frank waits until you whine his name, until you breathe more heavily from humping him like a desperate little thing.
He’s patient, he’s able to push his own needs aside, still a soldier, still serving.
“Touch me,” you breathe out with your lips swollen from his nips. Shaky from the relentless back and forth on Frank’s lap.
A finger slips under your top, then two and three fingers. You whine again because it is not what you want. But his nails scraping over your lower back are better than nothing. He shifts, pushes his hips upwards, spreading his legs even wider. He is so hard in his jeans. If you’d care to look down you would see a dark spot in the denim.
If he'd care to look down he would see a dark spot in your short, too.
You press down, in need of more friction when the slick in your panties barely lets you feel any. He grunts, fingers digging into your back and then slipping into the back of your shorts. With a handful of your ass he holds you in place and grinds up into you.
No. Touch me!”
He grins when you whine again, another breathy complaint coming from you.
“'m touchin’ you, pretty girl. Feel that?”
You do. You feel his other hand slipping behind the elastics and fabric. His fingers connect one spot with another with a tender brush, zigzagging his way deeper into your panties.
“Mhmmm, and what do we have here?” Frank doesn't have to do much searching or probing, he can feel your arousal right on his fingertips.
“Is this for me?” he asks, his nose nudging your chin, making you look at him. “All this wet and just for me?”
You nod your head, unable to put up an act whenever he is like this, so sweet. “Yes,” you breathe softly, “‘s for you.”
“Thought so,” he murmurs, and you can feel each word rumble in his chest.
Frank looks at you, brown eyes flitting over your face. Your droopy lids, your lips ajar the tiniest bit with the tip of your tongue between your teeth. Your impatience shows with how your shoulders tense up. You're holding your breath. Waiting for the impact.
He dips one finger between your folds and smiles when you whimper. He adds a second finger, moves them back and forth, coating you and him with your slick. Curls his fingers, wedged tightly against your entrance.
“Frank,” you whisper and your muscles tighten even more. Ready to pounce. Ready to be pounced.
His hand, the one still on your ass, pulls you closer and onto his two fingers. Joint for joint Frank spreads you open until he's nestled inside you. Knuckles deep with your pussy clenching around him.
“‘s for me, right?” he husks and kisses your moan right off your lips when he pulls you back again with the handful of your ass. “She's just for me? Tell me, pretty girl.”
“Yes,” you whisper, your lips ghosting over his.
His fingers slip back inside you when he pushes you forward again. Frank grunts, satisfied with your answer and your slick walls gripping his fingers. “That's right, pretty girl.”
He's guiding your movements, just like before. Back and forth, letting you fuck yourself on his fingers. Allowing you to bite into the coiled muscles of his shoulder and neck when you want to go faster than he lets you to.
He knows you, knows where to push and rub, when to a third finger, only for a few thrusts, and when to leave you on the edge with just two of his fat fingers stuffing you.
With every tilt of your hip you grind against the heel of his palm, every cant bringing you closer. You tighten and clench, your hands grab for anything that is Frank. His arms or chest. Knowing he doesn't mind it when you forget about being gentle, when you can't really be anything else but gentle. Just desperate and aching, just for him.
“Need me so bad you gonna cum.”
It's not a question. It's a simple fact. Stated with a low hiss when your nails leave small halfmoon imprints on the taught skin of his arms.
What his hands want to break, they'll break. They will ruin and wreck as they please. And so it's three fingers again with the next thrust. Buried inside you, all the way to his calloused knuckles. Making you whimper and your pussy squelch.
“Gonna cum on my fingers? So needy for me you gonna cum all over my hand?” he asks, voice just as breathy as your moans.
Your eyes lock with his for a moment, and if your cunt clamping down on his three digits isn't already proof enough of how close you are, the look on your face is.
He curls his fingers, almost hooking himself inside of you, right where you need it and where only Frank manages to reach. You start rocking against his palm, pinned down by three fingers and just enough range of motion to rub your clit against his hand, coated with your arousal.
“Jus’ like that, pretty girl. Take what you need. Make yourself cum for me,” Frank groans and moves the hand from your ass up, higher, squeezing whichever of your curves he passes on his way to your neck.
And while you fuck yourself stupid on his fingers he gently wraps his hand around your throat.
Holding you up just slightly, holding you in place, holding you close to him. Holding your gaze.
Seeing your face twitch while he feels your cunt twitch. Seeing your eyes roll back when he changes the angle of his fingers and pushes into deeper, just a little bit, just to let you feel the stretch of his knuckles.
You moan his name one last time before you cum. A feral expression is edged into Frank's face now. The last thing you see is his tongue wetting his lips, then your vision turns white.
This is the part he loves most, seeing you letting go, just for him and only because of him. He loves the way your brows pinch together with each wave of your orgasm, loves the way you lose control of your body and are just held together by his hands.
“That's it, pretty girl,” he praises between his own groans, feeding you each one of them, right into your opened mouth. “I got you. You're doin’ so good for me.”
He's rubbing the heel of his palm to your sensitive clit until you start squirming.
“Frank, it's too much,” you whine, but Frank is not yet loosening his hold on your throat. He's still holding you in place, right where you belong. In his lap.
“Thought you wanted me to touch you? Ain't that right?” He chuckles, all rough and warm, like his hand between your legs, but then eases up. “Attagirl,” he murmurs and distracts you from pulling his fingers out of you with a harsh kiss.
A kiss that gets sweeter the moment a finger slips through your lips, followed by a second. You moan at the taste of your pussy, sucking Frank's digits deeper into your mouth.
“You're too greedy, pretty girl,” Frank says and pulls his fingers back only to lick the third one clean himself. “You're too needy, told ya.”
You roll your hips, knowing exactly that he is painfully hard.
“You're looking pretty needy, too, y’know?” you smirk, rocking against his bulge once more. Your move elicits one of his reluctant grunts from him.
“We gotta stop doing this,” Frank huffs, his hand already going from your neck to his belt buckle. “Ain't gonna end well.”
“Too many words,” you chide, working his fly open. “Too many clothes.”
You push your hand into his jeans, his cock hard and hot in your palm.
“Is this for me, Frank?”
thank you for reading, let me know how you liked it. i'd love to get some feedback on my first Frank fic <333

My baby be slayin’ as usual
AAAAAAAA more yan!Blue Jones!
B-b-blue? *shivers* YES!
For your own good
Blue Jones masterlist
Yandere!Blue Jones x afab!reader
Cw/triggers: Blue is a warning himself, manipulation, minor gaslighting, not beta read, potential typos.
Summary: You're not crazy and therefore wanted to get out. Blue wants to have a nice talk with you.
"You should be smart enough to know you won't be getting out of here unless Blue wants it." the guard dragged you back to your room, swiftly opening the door and ushering you inside. He stood by the door, dangling the keys, "which won't be anytime soon." He shrugged as if he couldn't care less before shutting the door and locking it.
You cursed under your breath. It only has been couple of days since you're here and it feels like this place is making you go insane even though you're most probably the most sane person in this entire hell hole.
Only now did the consequences of your actions hit you, you've heard about all the ways people here are being 'put back in their places' and it scares you. What will they do with you? Sedate you, make you sit in a goddamn wheelchair or pump you full of pills so that you're mentally unavailable?
How many times do you have to tell them you're not crazy?
As your thoughts ran wild in your head, the forceful twist of keys slammed you back to reality. The door opened, you've expected some nurse forcing you to take chill pills as they usual do with disturbing patients but it was Blue who entered. He had his noble suit on which suggested he spent some time in his club which some humble girl told you about.
"Dollie," he drawled, his lips parted slightly as he subtly stuck the tip of his tongue out to wet the corner of his mouth.
He put his hands behind his back, his opened suit jacket pushed back slightly, and something shiny, golden caught your eyes. Is that his pistol?
"Sit on your bed we have to talk about what you did." Blue crossed his arms, watching you with a stern expression. Once you were sat, he walked close to you, kneeling down infront of you and put his hands on your knees.
"You know you need this right?" Blue casually began stroking your knees with his thumbs.
"But I am not crazy."
Blue laughed. "Oh, I know you're not crazy." He smiled up at you. "I'm doing this for you. Keeping you here, with me."
"But I don't–"
Blue clicked his tongue, hushing you up with a finger on your lips. "Shh, you're just confused, that's okay. You'll get used to all this."
You shot him a confused glance.
His smile widened. "See? You will love it here, especially with me."
Blue then proceeded to cup your cheeks as he straightened himself up to your level. "You're just scared, babydoll, that's all."
Slowly he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss on top of your head while his thumbs caressed your cheeks.
Blue pulled back just as slow. "Try getting some rest, okay? I've got so much to show you." He smirked, stepping back and out of your room, leaving you there with all the thoughts that may run inside your mind.

Me when I read Matt’s justification:

Judex, Judicum, Infantem - Chapter 10
(Eventual)Reader x Matt Murdock x Frank Castle
previous chapter | next chapter | series masterlist | my masterlist
summary: You confront Matt about his lies and reflect on how you want to proceed with both men and parenting your baby.
warnings: AFAB Reader. Pregnancy. No use of Y/N. Angst and arguing.
w/c: 3,028
*I never give permission for my fics, manips, or any other original creation I post on Tumblr to be copied, posted elsewhere, translated, or fed into any AI program. The only platforms I currently post on are Tumblr and AO3. Thanks*
Crash.
The toaster hit the wall behind Matt’s head and crumpled into fragments of metal and springs with a clang as it hit the floor. He barely ducked out of the way in time, not expecting to have an appliance thrown at his head first thing after arriving home from a pointless meeting. He instantly went into fight mode, ready for whatever attack was next. It came in the form of your fists, banging against his chest as he stumbled backwards.
“You bastard. You absolute bastard!” you shouted, not ceasing in your wailing while Matt just flinched back and took it “You knew! You knew where he was the whole time and you lied to me!”
“Sweetheart, I—”
“What did you expect to happen Matthew!? That I’d never find out? That we’d just be a happy fucking family while you held onto this lie?”
Matt licked his lips with force, waving a hand up in surrender as he stammered trying to find the right words. You landed another shove to his chest, agitated by his silence.
“Hey hey, baby. Ease up.” Frank cooed, coming up behind you and taking both of your wrists, restraining you against his chest as you tried to continue your attack on Matt.
Running a stressed hand through his hair, Matt gulped as he attempted to find the words. He hung his head in defeat, face scrunched up as tears began to flow.
“I wanted to protect you.” he spoke, voice tight with remorse
“Protect me from what? I don’t need protecting from anything except maybe your stupid fucking ego!”
“From him!” Matt pointed accusingly to Frank who still had his strong arms around you
“I told you, Frank would never hurt me!”
Matt chuckled, shaking his head.
“No. But, do you think Frank is ever going to stop? Do you really want our daughter in that kind of danger?”
“Oh and Daredevil’s daughter would be safer?!”
“I’m not him anymore.”
The audacity of Matt’s statement hit you like a foul ball at a Yankee’s game— rude, unexpected, and errorus. The lump in your throat remained unmoved but didn’t dare morph into crying. Yet. Only rage came out in the way your voice quaked as you spoke.
“You were last night, even though you told me you were done.”
“I know—”
“You lied to me about Frank.”
“I know.”
“You said you loved me.”
“I do.”
No court room had ever seen him so frazzled, no witness on the stand was ever crossed with such hesitation. The confident lawyer and the vicious vigilante faded away to a broken man who was scared and raw. The real Matthew. The tremble in his voice almost broke you, almost compelled you to forget the anger and hurt and want to reach out and comfort the man you loved.
“I can’t hear your heartbeat Matthew. I don’t know what to believe.”
“We were happy. You said you were happy. You said you didn’t need him.”
“I was.” you replied “We were. But he still deserved to know.”
Frank was thankful he was still standing behind you, unable to hide the way his teeth nearly ground into pieces from how tightly his jaw gripped at your lack of denying that statement.
“You said you didn’t need him.”
Frank knew it was true. You didn’t need him. Shit, you didn’t need Red either. You were brave and tough and fierce and it was why he fell for you in the first place. He wouldn’t have left you if he thought you weren’t capable of a life without him.
So why did those six little words shake his foundation so much? He hovered, unsure of his place in this discussion. Taking a step back so that his hands only brushed the sides of your arms, his calloused finger tips running up and down in an attempt to soothe you or himself, he wasn’t sure.
“You asked me to stop looking for him. And I did.” Matt continued to explain, rambling words falling out of his mouth like a bag of marbles spilling down a staircase “But then Hector was murdered and the bullet casing at the scene had a skull logo on it.”
“So what, you couldn’t find him for weeks as Daredevil, but suddenly the honorable Matthew Murdock Esquire needs to find a vigilante and what? All Frank’s contacts start talking? I find that really hard to believe. Did you even look for him before then?”
“I did. I swear I did. And yeah, New York’s criminals don’t want to talk to the guy who puts them in jail. But a defense attorney starts asking the right questions…” he trailed off
You shook your head in disbelief, unsure what to even say.
“I found him. But, this was after you asked me to stop looking for him. I didn’t know if you wanted— I— There’s no excuse, but I just—”
Your shoulders felt heavy with exhaustion and you thoughts felt foggy and jumbled. While you still had plenty to say, you were just so done arguing. It felt laborious to even hold yourself upright, like you could just fall back and collapse into Frank’s embrace. The tears had finally started to flow as you audibly exhaled while Matt stuttered his lame excuses.
Matt hated when you cried, but the sting of knowing it was of his own making was like rubbing salt into road rash. The burden of disappointing you weighed heavily on him as he listened to your sniffles and the sound of defeat in your voice.
“I wanted to do what was best for you. For us. For the baby.” Matt continued, barley able to whisper through his tears
“And I don’t get a say in that?”
“I know. Sweetheart, I’m sorry. I made the wrong call.”
Finally, an apology. Took him long enough.
Unable to even look at Matt anymore, you turned to Frank, stone faced and somber behind you. It’s like he was staring right through you and seeing the yearning behind your eyes for the version life you had not even 36 hours earlier. Where you and Matt existed in a little bubble of joy and normalcy and ease. But there was no going back. Frank had returned to your lives and Matt had torn down the very foundation of your relationship.
“You’re being awfully quiet.” you commented
“Ain’t my fight.”
His voice came out in puffs, winded and tired from having to restrain you. A reminder of how he came back to you all broken and bloody. A reminder of how much healing he had left to so still. You wondered about the bruises and scars you couldn’t see.
The air in the room felt tight and stuffy and the pounding of your heart in your ears drowned out the sounds of Matt’s sniffling. You skin itched and your tears burned and the only word in your head was “run.”
“I’m going for a walk.” you stated decidedly, pushing past Matt and throwing on the first pair of shoes by the door.
Neither of the men stopped you, letting you grab your keys and slip out the door without another word.
“You gonna follow her?” Frank asked
“Why? Like you said, she’s a big girl. She clearly wants to be alone right now. And I’m in the dog house enough as it is.”
The fresh air on your face invigorated you as you strode down the street. You didn’t have any real sense of where you were going, simply hooking a right as soon as you stepped out of your building. By the time you’d gotten a few blocks, your tears had dried and you were starting to feel better.
Weaving through crowded streets until you reached a busy intersection, the beautiful stone wall of Central Park sat in front of you. You continued onward, feeling the tension begin to melt away as the green trees and the lush park surrounded you.
It was busy on the path as you made your way through. The park was filled with families on a day out and afternoon joggers. You didn’t realize which direction you were headed until you heard the music, abrasive and slightly off-key tones of accordion and a clunky piano playing a nauseating melody. Only when you rounded the bend did you realize where you were.
The Central Park Carousel.
You found an open spot on one of the green benches facing the ride, sitting down with a heavy sigh. You knew it was probably some sign from the universe that you ended up where Frank’s whole world fell apart, your own teetering on some weird precipice itself. There was some grand metaphor or ironic statement to be drawn between the situations, but your brain was too full to even begin to verbalize it.
You wondered if the spirit of Maria Castle was hanging around, hoping to divine some of her wisdom so that she could guide you towards clarity.
“Maria, girl? What am I even doing?” you asked to the sky
There was no answer.
You watched the scene around you unfolding; families all laughing and enjoying a fun-filled day, kids running around without a care in the world, their perfect little giggles cutting through the abrasive music.
This would be your life soon, a little precious face to make memories with, to fill your days with joy and laughter and fun. The thought warmed your heart, filling you with a sense of ease.
Still, there was a heavy presence to your joy, reflecting on the two men who are making this chapter of your life melancholic.
You could do it alone. Send them both packing, get their drama out of your way and handle things yourself like you always have. Maybe Colleen would let you work remote and you could buy a place upstate, raise your daughter in a quiet life. You didn’t need either of them, that you absolutely knew for sure.
“Will you tie my shoe?” a small, squeaky voice cut through your trance as you felt a tug on your shirt.
You turned to see small boy, not even five years old, sat beside you and swinging his feet as he stared up at you. He had a sweet round face, big brown eyes that reminded you of Frank’s, and a broad smile that featured a missing front tooth that made him look like a little hockey player. You looked down when he pointed at his foot, navy shoe lace dangling undone from his left Bluey sneaker.
“Sure thing, kiddo.” you patted the spot between you and he swung his foot up and rested it on the bench, waiting for you assistance
“Are you here alone?” you asked “Where are your parents? Or your nanny? Or?”
“No. My dads are around here somewhere.”
The little boy seemed totally unfazed by the fact that he didn’t know where his parents were. You shook your head with a chuckle, thinking about how you were the exact opposite when you were his age and would wail in panic if your mother even disappeared around a corner for a moment.
“Why don’t we hang out here together for a little? I’m sure they’ll turn up soon.” you commented, eyeing up the situation to make sure he didn’t go too far and get even more lost
“Okay. They said we could ride the horses today!” he said pointing at the carousel and eyeing a particularly shiny white horse statue as it went around
“Yeah? Are you having a fun day in the park with them?” you asked him
If an adult didn’t show up to claim him soon, you spotted two bored looking teenagers in head to toe khaki, emerald green central park logo embroidered on their shirts and hats as they guided families in and out of the line for the carousel. The walkie-talkies strapped to their hips could call in back up and help get this kid back to his parents.
“Yeah! We come to the park all the time! It’s my favorite! They said to find a mom if I ever get lost.” His slight lisp came out as his voice got higher in excitement, you suspected from the missing tooth. It was too cute.
“Yeah?”
Even though you weren’t a mom yet, you were glad he thought you looked trustworthy enough and that it was you he found and not someone with worse intentions.
“Do you like Bluey?” you asked, pointing down at the shoe you’d just tied
“It’s my favorite show! Daddy and Papa said this summer we can get an Australian Shepherd just like—”
“Noah!”
The both of you turned to see a man jogging up the hilly path towards where the two of you sat. Similar to every other parent surrounding you, he looked to be in his-mid forties and wore a simple pair of jeans paired with a neat green polo shirt and very comfortable looking sneakers. The outward sign of panic in his eyes made it obvious he was one of this boy’s parents, but the way he moved his feet gently let you know, this was not the first time this sweet kiddo had wandered off.
“Papa!” the little boy squealed with excitement, running into the man’s arms
“Where did you go bud?” his father asked with concern, scooping him up to hold him “We told you you can’t just run off!”
“You said we could go ride the horses!”
Another man joined them shortly after, also relieved to see Noah found and in one piece, and they walked off as a family to get in line for the carousel. You watched as the three of them laughed together, playing some sort of eye-spy game to keep the boy occupied and distracted from getting bored in line while waiting for their turn.
You swore if you blinked, they would magically turn into Frank and Matthew, just how you pictured each of them would be with your daughter.
A happy family.
Yeah, you could do it alone. But you didn’t want to.
You loved Matt. Seeing the care and dedication he’d given you since discovering your pregnancy gave you enough hope that you could get over his recent transgressions and move forward together to be happy again.
And despite your complicated feelings for Frank, you knew he would be an excellent father to your child regardless of where the two of you stood with each other.
Being a family together and giving your daughter three people in her life who loved her dearly was worth figuring this all out.
By the time you left your spot, now determined and sure, the sun was bright on the horizon as it began to set and cast the city in a harsh glow.
You turned the key gingerly, wondering what scene would be waiting for you behind the door. Someone could be heard moving around the kitchen and the broken pieces of toaster had been cleaned up from the entryway, but nothing else seemed to be out of place.
As you made your way down the hall, you paused just outside the door to the spare bedroom— the one that would soon be transformed into a nursery. Amongst Matt’s braille printer and various items for when he needed to work from home was a pile of blankets and Matt’s pillow, laying on the ground. It shattered your heart, seeing that he voluntarily kicked himself out of your bed and made other sleeping arrangements until the two of you could make up.
When you stepped into the main living space, the most amazing smell hit your nose. Notes of pepper and tomato filled the air and made your stomach growl.
Frank was sitting on the sofa, nose rising from your copy of an Agatha Christie novel he once called “fuckin’ boring” to watch you enter. Looking even healthier than this morning, there was a flush to his face and the bruises that littered his cheek bones were now fading to a warm yellow. He’d obviously showered too while you were out. His beard looked clean and soft as it tickled the top of his clean, grey henley and his hair a little more tamed. Seeing him look so much better sent a flicker of worry through you that once fully healed, he would change his mind and disappear again. But it faded as soon as you saw the soft smile that grew across his face at your reappearance.
Matt occupied the kitchen, the culprit behind the delicious scent that covered the apartment. He didn’t flinch when you stepped into the room, having listened to your heartbeat coming towards home since the last half block. But still, he ducked his head, humbly avoiding your stare with his imaginary tail between his legs. Even as mad as you were, you couldn’t help but notice just how handsome he looked. His hair was tousled, a little disheveled from the rigor and heat of playing chef. Still half dressed from work this morning, his slightly unbuttoned shirt showed just enough chest and cross necklace to tease you. The way his rolled up sleeves perfectly framed his arms would have made your mouth water if whatever he was cooking wasn’t already doing it.
“I made dinner.” he offered with a soft voice “Figured you haven’t eaten yet today.”
He wasn’t wrong and it almost pissed you off how well he knew you.
The heaping plate of spaghetti bolognese he set on the island in front of you was clearly his olive branch. The first of many steps towards making up for the hurt and the lies. It was a cheesy gesture, like a greeting card that cost too much. But still, you wanted to give him the chance to make things better and this was a start.
As you sat to begin eating, Frank joined you, taking the stool next to yours. Matt also passed him a plate, then leaned against the counter to tuck into his own. For a while, the only sounds in the apartment were the scraping of forks against plates.
“So,” you finally spoke up “we need to talk.”

AHHH YES PLEASE-

Steven acting all smug with Marc and Jake because the other night it accidentally escaped your lips that he was the best sex you ever had.
👀👀👀👀👀 just a thought you can do with it as you please
I AM WHEEZING AT THIS!!
The Title
Steven Grant x Marc Spector x Jake Lockley x gn!Reader • Rating: 18+ pals • Masterlist• ao3• want to be tagged? | request info • buy me a coffee? •
Summary: Steven is apparently the best.
Warnings: Kissing, pet names, innuendo, sex mentions, bickering, swearing, please let me know if I've missed a warning.
Word Count: 315
“Shut the fuck up Steven.” Marc practically growls
Steven smiles at his reflection, raising his eyebrows as he brushes his hair. “I didn’t say anything, mate.”
“You were going to.”
Steven scoffs, but can’t hide how his grin widens. “I wasn’t.”
“You fucking were.”
“Being a bit sore today, aren’t we, Marc? Yes.” Steven taps the mirror with the end of his brush.
“You’re the one fucking swanning about and rubbing it in!”
“I’m doing no such thing, you’re being paranoid. Silly even.” Steven beams at him, definitely rubbing it in.
“Steven-”
“Best sex they’ve ever had, you know?” He gives Marc a little cheeky glance, waiting until Marc’s eyebrow furrows in a scowl before he mouths ‘best’ again.
“Fuck off.”
Steven chuckles.
“No, literally,” Marc sticks his middle fingers up. “Fuck off.”
“Best.”
“Fuck-”
“As in, better than anyone else.”
“-Off.”
“Which includes you.”
“Fuck-”
The sound of you coming in the front door echoes loudly, snapping at Marc’s and Steven’s attention.
Steven goes to call out, and at the same moment, Marc tries to force himself to the front. For a brief moment, they both shove at each other, speaking rapidly so that neither can really hear what the other is saying.
In the hasty chaos, Jake silently slips forward. He fronts so gently that neither Steven nor Marc notices until they hear his voice coming from their lips.
“Hello, amor,” he smiles as he greets you, kissing your cheek.
“Hello, Jake.” You beam, giggling as he helps you out of your jacket and lightly kisses your neck. “What’s got into you?”
“Well, Steven has been regaling us with tales of last night.”
You pause, heat running along your skin. “I…”
“Apparently, he’s the best sex you’ve ever had?” He gives you a cheeky smile and raises his eyebrow. “I was wondering if you’d care to give me a shot at the title?”

Nora, IM FROTHING AT THE MOUTH.

how would frank react if his girl started fucking herself back on him during doggy?👀👀
ok damn.
It'd be a lot of "hey hey hey easy sweetheart" as he lands his hands on your ass, attempting to ease your pace so you don't hurt yourself on him. When you find your rhythm he'd start to run his broad hands all over the globes of your ass, making big circles, letting himself start to enjoy it while he kept an eye on you. Maybe you'd get a little needy and your pace would stutter or you'd force yourself back a little too hard and whimper and he'd use his hands to reset the pace again, saying "gotta go slow or you're gonna have to let me be charge again understand?" When you don't immediately acknowledge him he asks again "Understand me doll?" as he takes your hips and hugs you flush to him, pinned in place and you'd have to whimper out a whiny yes so he'd let you continue. He'd finally let himself indulge in the feeling of you a bit more, giving you an encouraging "attagirl" when you quickened your pace and finally came on his length, going limp and letting him take over again.

NO FRANKIEEEE!!!!

Also the little ‘Baby?’ I- 😭😭😭
Judex, Judicum, Infantem - Chapter 7
(Eventual)Reader x Matt Murdock x Frank Castle
previous chapter | next chapter | series masterlist | my masterlist
summary: There's trouble in paradise as Matt finds a good reason to put the suit back on. Things get even more complicated when you get an unexpected visitor.
warnings: AFAB Reader. No use of Y/N. We're starting to get angsty again. Mention of blood and description of injury.
notes: Someone lovely DMed me and let me know they hadn't gotten a notification they'd been tagged in the last few chapters. So I went in an manually retyped the whole tag list. Hopefully, it should be working now (though with Tumblr, who knows) Sorry about that!

You weren’t aware of the beauty that was sleeping on silk sheets until you started dating Matt, now cool against your skin as you sat in your bed with your computer propped on your lap. You scrolled through yet another parenting forum, now contemplating if getting your placenta crushed into capsules and eating them was really a health benefit or just a bunch of malarkey.
“I don’t know baby girl, sounds gross.” you commented, hand rubbing at your abdomen. You and Matt had both begun the habit of regularly speaking to the baby and it filled you with delight that she would come out already knowing your voices.
Your 16 week appointment went incredibly well, sonogram finally starting to show something that actually looked like a baby and not a blob to you. You giddily chuckled as you picked it up from the night stand beside you and gave it a glance.
She was gonna be cute. And probably trouble. Just like her dad.
You shook your head at the thought of a mini Murdock running around and went back to your readings just as Matt stepped into the room. You did a double take as you looked up at him, incredibly surprised to see him not in his sweatpants as he was a few minutes ago when you were in the kitchen, but clad in his crimson Daredevil suit.
“Matt, what are you doing? We agreed you weren’t going to look for Frank anymore.”
“I’m not.” Matt said, lips pursed as he fiddled with his gloves
“Well it’s not exactly a kink I thought I’d have, but if you want to let the devil out on me…” you joked laying back seductively, hoping Matt would chuckle with you.
He didn’t.
“Something happened. Remember the Ayala girl?”
“Hector’s niece? Yeah.”
Of course you remembered the tragic case Matt had wrapped up a few weeks ago. Securing the freedom of an innocent man only for him to be murdered less than two days later. It was the exact type of incident that Matt explained to you made him take up the vigilante life in the first place; he used the system the right way for justice and still an innocent person lost to corruption.
“Well she visited me today at work.”
“Is she okay?” you asked
“I don’t know. She said something about her Uncle tracking something before he died. I told her to let the police handle it, but she didn’t want to listen.”
“Okay? What’s that have to do with Daredevil?”
“She just texted me. An address. I think she’s about to do something dangerous.”
“So call the police.”
“No.” he shook his head with a grimace “That did a lot of good with her Uncle.”
“Matt—”
You threw the duvet off yourself and followed him as he headed down the hall. His heavy footsteps echoed on the hardwood floors as he walked away from you with determination. You weren’t about to just let him go out with no information about it.
“Sweetheart, I need to handle this. I’m sorry.” Matt called behind him to you, still making his way toward the balcony with no falter in his step. He retched the door open, letting in the cool night breeze.
“What are you walking in to?”
“I’m not sure.”
“So you’re just going in blindly?”
“I have to.”
“Matt!” you shouted
Your voice practically echoed and the silence that followed was almost as loud, with little other noise around as the city began to wind down for the evening.
It was enough to stop him in his tracks as he turned to face you. You hoped since Matt could now hear the heartbeat, it was coming through strong and clearly. Hoping your baby girl was giving you an extra assist in persuading him to stay.
“What if you get hurt? What am I—” you cupped the base of your stomach “—what are we supposed to do?”
“I won’t.”
“You don’t know that.” you scoffed
“Sweetheart, I can’t argue right now—”
“So I’m supposed to just let this happen? Let you walk into unknown danger and what? You just expect me to be okay with it? You have a family now, Matt!”
“I know. And I love you and I care about you more than anything in the world, but right now Angela is in danger. She’s just a kid and she needs me.”
“In need you Matt. Here. With me and our child. Safe.”
“What if this was our child!? How do you think her Aunt feels right now!? Soledad is probably worried sick!”
You tugged at the sleeves of Matt’s Columbia sweatshirt, wrapping your arms around yourself. The air was brisk from the breeze that kept blowing in as the two of you stood in a stale mate, Matt one foot out the door and you pleading for him to stay. The sigh that escaped your lips was heavy. He was right. If it was your baby in danger you’d want someone, anyone to save her.
“Okay. So, you help her; you find her and save her from the very unknown and possibly dangerous variable and then what? Is this a one time thing or are you back? What happens if you just find more questions than answers tonight and need to keep going out and—”
“Honey, I can’t answer that. Look, I don’t have time for this right now.”
“Then when will you?” you continued to push
“I’m not exactly thinking about you or the baby right now, it’s just about—”
“Oh, I got that loud and clear, asshole.”
Frustration surged in Matt’s veins, apparent by the the tick in his jaw and the way his fists clenched at his sides. Angry that you couldn’t see his point and exasperation that you were resorting to sarcasm and venomous words to make your point.
“I can not live with myself if I just let her go in there and get hurt or die. Deliver those who are staggering to slaughter, for if you do not speak out to warn them then I will hold you responsible for their blood.”
“I’m too tired for the Catholic guilt right now, so cut the shit Matt.”
“Sweetie, this is who I am. I know you haven’t really seen it until now, but it used to be a big part of my life… “ he trailed off
The life before you. The one he was keeping guarded. He stopped being Daredevil for a reason; a reason he wouldn’t fully tell you. But you knew it involved someone he cared about getting hurt. If he cared about Foggy that much, couldn’t he extend the same courtesy to you? Not put himself in harms way to prevent you from getting hurt if something happened to him? If he wanted to raise this baby right, you knew he needed to face the demons of his past and let them go in order to move forward with his child. But he was so unwilling to open up, so stubborn to not let the things that hurt him also hurt you. They were anyway, him keeping closed off only making it worse. Like hot lava bubbling up from a dormant volcano, oozing out to the surface in the form of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
He stripped his gloves off, stepping forward to cradle your face in his hands.
“I was Matt Murdock the lawyer. And I was Daredevil. And I was damn good at both. And I need you to accept that.”
“Matt. I love you. But this is not just something you can spring on me and expect me to be okay with.”
Now? You’re telling him now? You absolute buffoon—
Matt winced, had the audacity to wince, at you finally admitting you loved him. You cleared your throat and continued, trying to calm the still growing rage in your voice.
“If you were planning on going back out as Daredevil, it should have at least been a discussion before it became an emergency situation.”
“You don’t get to decide what I can or can’t do.”
“I’m the mother of your child Matthew! I think I should at least get a say if my baby’s father wants to put himself in potentially fatal danger!”
“Your baby’s father might be Frank, which would be worse in the danger department if we’re being honest.”
Acid in an open wound would have stung less than him bringing that up now. You bit your lip, unable to control the tears that began flowing. Cowering away, you shook your head and stayed silent.
“I love you too.” he finally replied, taking a step towards you and placing a kiss on your forehead “I’ll be back soon. Don’t wait up.”
Then he turned, put on his helmet, and walked out the door.
You’d lost count around hour 3 just how many times you had done a lap around the apartment, pacing anxiously until Matt returned.
‘Don’t wait up.’
What a dick statement. Of course you were going to wait up. Like you could ever possibly sleep being worried sick and watching the clock as the minutes ticked on.
Eventually you were able to at least sit in bed, resuming your scrolling of mommy blogs but not really able to focus on any of the words you were reading in a feeble attempt to distract yourself.
It was almost 2AM when you heard the sliding glass door from the balcony open and shut. You leapt out of bed and trudged down the hall, bare feet cold on the hardwood. Would he be hurt? How badly? Would he still be angry with you?
When you rounded the corner you jumped back at the sight before you. A figure taller and larger than Matt was leaning against the kitchen island, slouched over and grunting in pain. The moon was the only thing lighting the apartment right now and you were having trouble making out the details of the person before you. The only thing clear to you was that it was not Matt who was standing before you bloodied and bruised.
As he stepped forward, keeping a hand against the counter for support, you were able to get a better look at him. Your eyes locked into his and you both stood there silently.
Frank.
His grizzly beard was damp for some reason, droplets reflecting the moonlight coming in through the large windows. He’d grown his hair out since you last saw him, clearly not caring about his appearance as much based on how tangled and unkempt it looked. The way his eyes softened nearly melted you on the spot as he realized it was you in front of him. They didn’t distract you enough to not notice how hollow they sat on his face, whatever he’d been up to in the months since clearly taking a toll. Plenty of cuts and bruises were littered across his cheeks and nose. He looked in an even worse state than you imagined Matt would be coming home in, holding a hand to the side of his neck as crimson liquid flowed between his fingers.
Shit. That’s why his beard was wet. It was blood.
“Baby?” he managed to weakly croak out, before collapsing onto the ground
The reverberation from his body hitting the floor finally broke you from your shock and you rushed toward him, sliding onto your knees to pick his head up and assess.
His neck gushed blood from an open wound, sticky and warm beneath your fingers while you applied pressure as hard you could muster. His nearly unconscious form was boneless as you tried frantically to stabilize him. Heavy in your arms, you struggled to hold him steady and also tend to his injury.
“Matt! Help! Matt!” you screamed into the night as loudly as your voice could manage, hoping he was close enough to hear and come home.
You’d thought a lot about what you’d do if you ever saw Frank again. In the days after he disappeared, your mind wandered into the what ifs. If you ever saw him again, would you be angry? Or sad? Contemplating the outcomes, you figured you’d either scream at him or let your fists do the talking. Or maybe you’d just cry. Or by some miracle by the time your paths crossed again, you’d have healed enough and moved on, totally unbothered by his presence. Would you tell him about his possible child? Or be so happy with Matt that it wouldn’t be worth it?
You never thought it would happen like this. All the hours you’d spent pacing your apartment, verbalizing the things you’d say in one sided conversations with yourself. All the fear, the anger, the sadness, the hurt. It all flew out the window in this moment.
All you wanted to do right now was not lose him.
Frank clearly came here seeking Matt’s help, not expecting to find you instead. Fuck, you wished he was home right now. You wished he hadn’t gone out tonight. You didn’t know the first thing about first aid. There was a baby CPR seminar the two of you were going to attend in a few weeks, but you didn’t think it would possibly cover something like this. With all his years experience stitching up his dad and fixing his own injuries from Daredeviling, Matt was much better equipped to help. You were panicking, not calm in a crisis like he was.
What did you do? Keep putting pressure on the wound and hope Matt got home in time to save him? Leave Frank and risk him bleeding out to find your phone and call an ambulance that also might not get there soon enough? Was it already too late? Would you lose him?
Frank reached up, a hand stained in ruby caressing your face as you stared into his eyes. They fluttered open and closed, fading in and out of consciousness as he grunted beneath you in agony. He looked paler by the second, face draining of color beneath your shaky fingers. The shock was apparent in his face; at the sight of you or at the pain he was in, who was to say? Unable to speak, his mouth opened and closed with gasps as if he were a fish struggling outside of water.
You were losing him.
“Frank. Please, Frank. Stay with me.” you begged
He writhed in your embrace, kicking his heavy boots against the ground in suffering and confusion.
And then he was still.

Love you too baby! Hope everything is fine and don’t worry take your time, we care about your mental and physical health more than anything! 💖💖💖
Hello friends-- I know it's been a little quiet the past few days. My creativity is a bit zapped as we deal with some family stuff (all is well-- just had a scare with a loved one and these things always hit me a bit later). If I'm feeling the spark, I'll jump into my inbox but sometimes it's worse to force it so I'm just gonna go with the flow.
Love you all!

Perfect Fit Volume 4
previously | Perfect Fit Masterlist
Pairing: Nathan Bateman from Ex Machina x f!reader
Word Count: 2.9k
Summary: The fallout from you thinking there were wires in your arm. Were there wires in your arm? Is Nate ok? Is any of this real? Answers unfold, finally.
Content: language, violence, blood, wounds, mention of suicide, dream sex, oral -m. and f. rec, p in v, overuse of italics, not beta'd
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
PREVIOUSLY on "Perfect Fit"
"If I'm...real, then take me to a hospital. Take me now."
"Okay. But it'll take some time. I have to call for the chopper and we both need warm clothes."
You can go downstairs with him and possibly be trapped forever. Or you can depend on him to fly you out of here. Either way, you have to trust him.
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
Dressed warmly, arm wrapped tight, seated in the chopper, you squeeze your eyes shut, as if depriving yourself of that sense will dull the helicopter's thudding roar, or lessen the burning pain pulsing from the cut in your arm.
Nathan buckles you in before touching your cheek to get you to look at him. He holds up two wireless earbuds, dark eyebrows lifting questioningly over his wire frames, as if asking if you'll use them.
You nod, making sure to keep your arm elevated, keeping as much pressure as you can, while he slips the earbuds into your ears.
"Can you hear me?" You see his mouth, but a clear sound resounds in your ears as the helicopter's noise is muted immensely.
You nod.
"Okay, these should cancel out most of that fucking noise so we can talk."
He sits down and straps in while he says this before motioning for his pilot to take off.
"Let me see that arm."
Your wounded arm is closest to him. He makes sure you haven't bled through your thick bandages and towel before applying more pressure.
You wince, your whimper audible in his high tech earbuds.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart, but we have to keep pressure on this - as much as you can stand," he explains for like the eleventh time.
"I know." Your eyes stare vacantly ahead as you let him press as hard as you can take it.
His gaze drops momentarily, not that you notice. Then he drags in a deep breath. "Listen, we have to talk. Things are gonna get complicated when we get to the hospital."
"How?"
"Well, the first thing they're gonna wanna know is how you got this big fucking cut," he explains. "They're either gonna think you did it, or I did it. Both of which will present...issues."
"I did it," you glance over at him. "I wouldn't make them think you did, if that's what you're worried about."
"No it's not that, babydoll," he tells you, his big brown eyes searching your face for some kind of connection. "If they think I did it, I'm gonna get questioned by the police. I can handle that. My lawyers will have it taken care of before dinner.
"But if you say you did it, they might order a psych eval. Might even put you on suicide watch," he goes on. "It could get messy."
"I probably need a psych eval," you scoff. "I'm not sure if either one of us is an actual human being. I'm so unsure that I cut my fucking arm open to prove it, and worse than that, I'm afraid that Nathan Bateman's either not real at all, or is dead or trapped in that creepy ass mansion with a bunch of androids."
The corner of his mouth curls as he sees a glimpse of your humor for the first time in days. But it doesn't reach the roundness of his saddened eyes.
"Well, I'm not going to try to talk you into anything right now. I'm just giving you the options."
You sigh tiredly, despite the long nap you apparently took. " Which are?"
He stares at your profile so long that you finally turn to look at him. "Do you want the version you want to hear, or your actual options?"
You groan. "Actual options."
“Okay,” he rattles them off. “One, you say you cut yourself - they'll do psych eval. Two, say I cut you and that’ll make it more my problem, but the police will still want a statement from you so we need to get our stories straight. Three, say I cut you and we don’t get our stories straight. That makes it my problem, not yours. I don’t think you wanna hear number four..”
You glare at him.
“Four, we head back to my place and I stitch you up.”
You sigh again.
“Any of these options begin and end with you calling your family and going back to your life. That earpiece will call them right now. Go ahead.”
Your heart races as you realize you might be free, and contemplate if you’ve actually been captive at all.
“My mom. Let me call her," you plead, your voice shaky, as if you weren't allowed to call her most any day since you arrived at Nathan's home.
"Yeah, of course," he says so softly, you're certain it has to be Nate. Or maybe Nathan was the soft one all along. Dammit.
He shows you how to make the call and moments later, you hear your mom's voice.
She asks if you're okay. How you've been since Tuesday (the last time you talked, days prior), how work is going...when you're coming home.
"Soon," you reassure her. "I miss you."
You hang up with a soft smile, feeling marginally better.
You gaze at Nathan, wishing you could know who he really is. Maybe you're crazy but...
"Can you really fix my arm?"
He gently smiles. "Yeah."
"Okay, let's go back."
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
True to his word, Nathan somehow stitches you up after giving you a few localized numbing shots. (You refused to be put to sleep).
Then he takes you to see a powered down Nate, who looks a little worse for wear, but is, in fact, a machine.
He even shows you some of his older androids, all powered down.
After that, he guides you back upstairs for something to eat, and to talk.
“How are you feeling?” He asks, while preparing a salad.
“My arm hurts,” you flatly return.
“I know.” His eyes go softer than you've ever seen them, wide and almost pleading. “But…other than that. You…” he pauses, placing both palms on the countertop. “What made you think you were a fucking robot? What did Nate say to you?”
“As if you don’t know,” you fire back. “You probably programmed him to say it.” You gesture upward. “You film it on your cameras, then watch it back. You know everything that happens here every second of the day.”
Nathan rolls his eyes. "If you believe that, then you already know I don’t have an answer for why you almost killed yourself slicing your arm open.”
“Because of you, because of what you’ve done to me,” You passionately argue, eyes flashing. “You keep messing with my head. You showed me wires in my arm!”
“I didn’t,” he shakes his head resolutely, easing around the kitchen island to where you’re standing. “I told you - you were asleep the whole time. I was sitting with you. Me telling you you're not real? It didn’t happen.”
“More gaslighting,” you scoff.
Nathan scrubs his hand over his beard, seeming worried rather than frustrated. “The experiment here - the experiment you signed on for - was to see if my AI could pass for a human. Once I added the sexual component, you were more than happy to comply - "
“Fuck you, Nathan - "
“But nothing was about you getting hurt, or being trapped here,” he pressed on, inching closer. “We had a contract for you to live here for a certain amount of time. You’ve fulfilled that contract and then some. You’re free to go - you’ve always been free to go and I definitely did not show you wires in your arm because there aren’t any fucking wires in your arm.”
“Fine, I’m leaving tonight,” you tell him, stepping up to him challengingly. “Call my ride.”
“Done,” Nathan fires back, then folds his arms over his chest. “If you wanted to leave here so badly, why did you come back here with me? Why didn’t you go to the hospital?”
“I didn’t want any questions, same as you.”
“Fair enough,” he concedes, moving back around to start working on the salad again. “Do you want to eat or should I call your ride first?”
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
You and Nathan quietly choke down your salad while seated on the couch. Nathan is barefoot, as usual, one leg tucked up under the other, starting vacantly out the floor-to-ceiling windows.
“So, did Nate convince you? That he was me and I was him?” He asks you point blank. “Would you say the experiment was a success?”
Poking your fork uninterestedly into your lettuce, you darkly chuckle. “I would say so. I honestly don’t even know who’s sitting with me right now.”
Nathan drops his fork. “Are you fucking serious?”
“Yes I’m fucking serious,” you retort. “I thought Nate came to my room last night to sleep with me, to say goodbye. Then you - or I thought it was you - walked in and the power went out. Nate tried to help me get out of here but you tried to power him down. After that, he stabbed you.”
You gestured animatedly with your arm that wasn’t wounded. “But turns out - I had it completely backwards! You stabbed Nate and then you showed me all his circuits and wires…meaning what? It was you who came to fuck me goodbye? You were pretending to help me escape when it was you with me all along? Who the fuck does that, Nathan?”
“It was part of the experiment,” he explained with a nonchalance that made your blood boil.
“I thought he stabbed you, Nathan. I thought you were going to die. And Nate - or-or you, or whoever the hell fucked me and then watched me take a bath - one of you said you loved me. So I thought a robot fell in love with me and then killed you. Do you not see how way over the line fucked up that is?”
Nathan explains, emphasizing his every phrase with intense gestures. “If you truly couldn’t tell us apart, then the experiment was a success. But no part of this project was ever to make you think that you’re a machine. Or for you to hurt yourself. I never wanted that.”
You glare at him. “Why the hell do you care if I get hurt or not?”
Stashing his plate on the coffee table with a clatter, he stands abruptly. “You know what? Forget it. You love my android, you can't wait to get away from here. Message fucking received."
"Okay, now I know I'm with Nathan because everything that ever happens ever is about you."
"Sweetheart - "
“Take me to Nate.”
“What?”
“Take me to Nate right now,” you demand, rising to your feet, your salad now forgotten.
“You just saw him earlier.”
“I want to talk to him. Now.”
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
Nate looks relatively normal, aside from exposed wires in his abdomen. He's shirtless, wearing black boxer briefs that leave nothing to the imagination, sitting on a lab table, bare legs hanging off the edge.
He goes from lifeless to someone you feel you truly know in two seconds as Nathan powers him on. His soft eyes trace the contours of your face as he breathes your name.
“Hi,” you whisper, realizing that you actually care how he's doing. “Are you okay?”
He glances down at his exposed abdomen. “I’ll live.” He glares at his maker. “No thanks to this asshole.”
“Yes thanks to this asshole,” Nathan smugly returns, arms folded over his chest, looking like some kind of bodyguard at the moment. A really compact bodyguard. “I’m fixing you. You’re welcome.”
“You stabbed me,” Nate returns, but quickly refocuses on you. "But what about you?" He motions to your arm. "You're hurt."
"I'll live," you echo his words, turning to Nathan. “If I ask him questions does he have to tell me the truth?”
“Hey, I’m right here,” Nate interjects, “and the answer is no. I’m always learning. Humans are master deceivers so every interaction with one trains me to think for myself and act in my own self-interest.”
"Typical." You roll your eyes. "What would you say Nathan programmed you to do, primarily? Was it to pass as him? Trick me? See if you could develop feelings for me? See if I could feel something for you? Escape? What was it?"
Nate glances at Nathan.
"Don't look at him, look at me. What is your primary reason for existing?"
"The human response is to say I don't need a reason to exist, I simply exist. I don't have to explain my sentience to deserve the right to be."
Your eyes land on Nathan. "Damn. You really must be a genius."
But you're not done. "Would you tell me the truth, even if it made Nathan angry?"
"Don't I always?" Nate smugly replies.
"Even if you were sure he would terminate you, would you tell me the truth?"
Nate cocks his head, studying you curiously. "If I had to. If it would protect you."
You frown, unconvinced. "Why?"
He shakes his head once. "You know why."
You narrow your eyes. You've come this far. You might as well ask everything. "Are there any more of you? More Nathans? Nates? That look like you?"
Nate's pose now matches that of his creator, arms folded over his chest. "There better not be. It would be redundant. Nathan wouldn't find it interesting."
You look over for confirmation. Nathan smugly smiles.
Time to get down to it.
"Did you come into my room to tell me goodbye? Have sex with me? Wash me in the bathtub?" You point to his creator. "Or was it him?"
"It was me," Nathan confirms. "It was me with you, and Nate came in later."
"Why?" You hiss. "Why were you pretending to be each other?"
"I wasn't, at first," Nathan says softly. "You just assumed I was him."
"You were acting like him."
"How?" Nathan challenges. "I came to see you. I said that I knew you wanted to leave, but I wanted to spend one more night with you. You assumed Nate would do that and not me. I just went with it."
"You let me believe you were Nate," you passionately argued. "And you," you whirl back around to the android. "Walked right in, letting me believe you were Nathan."
"You believed him, that's what's important," Nathan says. "The first thing you did was to call him an asshole. A term of endearment previously reserved only...for me."
"So your grand plan - your big experiment - was just to play Parent Trap and switch places on me? That's it?"
Nate bursts out laughing.
Nathan waves his hand dismissively. "You already know the point of the experiment. Can he pass for human?"
"Okay so there really is no reason for me to stay then," you realize, your heart sinking with a finality you hadn't expected.
"Which is what you want anyway," Nate adds. "Right, sweetheart? You want to go home?"
You pause for a moment of reflection before eyeing them skeptically, ignoring the question, since you're leaving anyway. "How do I know you're not both androids? I've probably never even met the actual Nathan Bateman. He's probably not even on this property. He's holed up somewhere, peeing in Coke bottles, with a long beard - not the sexy kind - old enough to be my grandfather - "
"Wait just a damn second," Nathan points at you. "I'm not that much older than you."
"Do you even know him at all?" Nate asks, hitching his thumb at Nathan. "His ego is way too huge to not have a front row seat to this clown factory. And besides," he motions up and down the length of your body. "You're here."
✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧ ---------- ✧
You lying in bed, between them, on your side.
Nathan's head is between your thighs, where he's been for a half hour, slurping your juices and sucking your clit, while gently thrusting his cock in and out of your mouth.
Nate's tongue slipped into your ass and you came instantly. That didn't stop him from continuing. You blindly reach behind your head to help him jerk himself.
Everything is a mess. Nate quickly comes all over your neck and back, Nathan pulls out of your mouth and spills all over your tits.
You came so many times that you finally squirted all over his beard.
-------
Suddenly you're clean and underneath Nathan. Candlelight surrounds you. Nathan's body flexes over you as he slowly fucks into you, warm brown eyes locked onto yours. His fingers are laced with yours. He kisses you and fucks you so good you start to cry.
-------
In an instant, you're under the waterfall - the place you first met Nate. An adoring hint of a smile pulls at his lips as he slips his cock past your puffy folds, groaning in pleasure before licking into your mouth.
Nathan holds you from behind, strong arms keeping you upright. He's the one who grips your hips and pushes you into Nate.
"Use him, babydoll," he echoes his words from that first day. "Fuck, you look so good like this, fucking yourself on the toy I made you."
Your body goes limp, singing with euphoric pleasure as Nathan manipulates your body, fucking you into his android.
Still, it's Nathan's name you moan when you come.
-------
You jolt awake as the chopper touches down at the airfield. A car is waiting to take you home.
Home.
You're free. It's over.
But now he's all you can think about.
What the hell happened to you?

Me to Matty

Judex, Judicum, Infantem - Chapter 6
(Eventual)Reader x Matt Murdock x Frank Castle
previous chapter | next chapter | series masterlist | my masterlist
summary: You and Matt discuss baby names and the future. Despite how happy you are with all the romance and support he's giving you, he struggles to open up about the difficult things in his past.
warnings: AFAB Reader. No use of Y/N. Pregnancy and discussion of having a baby.
Notes: Thank you for the patience, I'm back from hiatus for now. It's really frustrating to see this story keep going down in notes from week to week and people not respecting my rules about having their age in their bio. It's also frustrating when people asked to be tagged and then never hearing from them again. And people stealing the gifs I make for each chapter and posting on their own writing with no credit and not taking them down when I ask. It's all made me burn out and not want to participate in this fandom space anymore. So I needed the break. I'll keep writing for now, but if things don't get better, I don't know how much more I wanna do. Fandom spaces aren't ai content mills where you can just take and take and take and expect to not give anything more than a silly heart button that takes you less than a second to push. The things you love are made by real people who take real time to create this free thing that you get to enjoy. Creation takes time and if you want the blogs and writers and artists you love to keep making it, then you need to do better. Rant over.

“How about Helen?” Matt suggested
“Ew, no. That was my freshman roommate’s name and she was not a nice person.”
Matt chuckled warmly as he continued to run his hand softly against your back. You were draped across his lap, face down, with your growing bump between his spread legs as he lulled you into relaxation. Just ten days into trimester #2, you had begun to “pop”; bulging belly only able to hide under baggy clothes now.
Colleen reacted exactly as you’d expected when you finally shared the news, smugly declaring she knew you and Matt were compatible but also overwhelmingly happy for you. All of Matt’s friends were ecstatic too. Kirsten immediately set up an appointment with her finance guy so you could figure out getting a college fund started. Karen dropped off a bag full of baby clothes to the apartment twice already and Foggy declared himself the baby’s godfather, Marlon Brando impersonation and all.
“Krystal?”
“Stripper name.” you replied with an eye roll
Matt scoffed, feigning offense at the implication of his suggestion of a name for your sweet unborn baby would certainly lead her to a future career of debauchery.
“How about Amelia?” you countered
Your face was pressed into the sofa but you didn’t need to see him to know that Matt scrunched his face up in disgust above you.
“I’ll consider it only because I love you.” he replied
I love you.
You could practically hear, and you’re pretty sure Matt could too, the real time stop of your blood flowing through your veins. You sat upright to face him, still a little stunned. Matt blankly stared at you with pitiful eyes like a sad abandoned puppy begging at your stoop to come inside from the rain. His mouth was quirked up to one side and his shoulders were practically at his ears with how tense he was. It was painted all across his face that he was clinging on to every clue your body was giving, hoping that just maybe if he listened a little harder, he’d be able to read your thoughts.
“You love me?”
“I— I thought it was obvious. Yeah?”
Say it back, you idiot! You already thought it! At least a dozen times! Why can’t you just say it back?! Damnit!
The sofa underneath you suddenly felt too lumpy, the air in the room too stifling. You felt like your throat was going to close up until oxygen couldn’t pass through and when you tried to swallow and clear it, it just felt drier than a desert. You hoped Matt couldn’t sense the way your palms had been getting more and more sweaty and how your heart sped up as soon as he said those words. Panicked, all you could think to do was lunge forward and kiss him fiercely, feeling him relax into your kiss as he brought his hands up to card through your hair.
“But you still hate Amelia?” you joked
“I really do, yeah.” he chuckled, dejection painted across his face at the fact you had made a joke of what he thought should be a romantic milestone in your relationship
You shifted to sit beside him and leaned your head into his strong bicep, unable to handle looking at his lugubrious expression any longer.
“Any other suggestions?” you asked softly, hoping that if you just ignored it, the awkwardness would go away
“I still like Margaret best. After my mother?”
“Still a no from me, considering I haven’t even met the woman yet. And I don’t love the little you’ve told me about her.”
Matt sighed.
“We’ll get there.”
“What’s the hold up?”
Maybe the hold up was you couldn’t even bare to tell him out loud how you were feeling yet, doofus.
“I told you about how my relationship with her is still complicated?”
“Yeah.”
“I just don’t know if this,” he reached across your body to rub at your bump “will make it better or worse.”
“You— have you even told her about me? Or the baby?”
Now it was your turn to be hurt. Was Matt really that ashamed of you and this life you were building that he couldn’t tell his mom? He rubbed at his temple and sighed again.
“No, I’ve been avoiding seeing her lately.” he replied
“Oh yeah, that’ll fix all your issues.”
Matt’s eyes practically rolled out of his head at your sarcasm.
“Sweetheart, she’s a nun. I just know I’m going to be told how ‘children are a blessing’ and what not. Which is always what she says about all the kids she works with in the orphanage. Meanwhile, she couldn’t even walk five blocks to be a parent to me.”
Your heart broke for Matt, knowing how becoming a father was bringing up all this harm from his past. Would his mom want any relationship with your child? Seeing her possibly love this baby in the way she couldn’t love Matt might devastate him. You didn’t want to put him through that pain, but you wanted your child to know her grandmother.
“Plus, I know how she feels about unwed mothers, considering that’s the only reason she left the church and married my dad. I was an oopsie which is a huge no-no for Catholics,” he continued “She will absolutely bring up us getting married and I do not want to get into it.”
“Oh yeah? I assume she’ll want us to have a big ol’ Catholic wedding too?” you teased, trying to snap Matt out of his rant
“Yeah, but I— wait. Do you? I mean, would you ever want to?”
“Have a three hour wedding with 300 people I barely know watching in a stuffy old building? Um, no.”
“I meant marry me.”
You didn’t quite tense up as much at this mention of marrying Matt like you did at the doctor’s. Warming up to the idea that you and Matt were indeed a serious thing and with the baby on the way, in it for the long haul. It felt too good to be true still. A life, an actual stable and committed life from a man who was proving to you every day he would be there for you.
Mostly.
Except when he missed the gender appointment. You still hadn’t forgiven him for that. But even so, he made you feel seen, special, and even sometimes like you were worthy of the romance and attention he gave you.
You nervously plucked at a pilling spot on the upholstery beneath you, contemplating how to respond.
“Ma- Maybe? I don’t know?” you stammered “I’ve never considered it. Marriage that is! Not about you, specifically. Or anyone for that matter…”
The clacking of his tongue and the way his brows furrowed together let you know that was not the answer he wanted to hear. Wow, you were really winning in the ‘breaking Matt’s heart’ category today.
“Let’s maybe focus on the baby and getting her here and settled.” you offered taking Matt’s hand in yours and placing it on your bump.
You hoped it helped Matt to know it wasn’t a no, but just not something you were ready to think about yet.
“Right.” he agreed “And pick a name that doesn’t suck.”
Matt cowered as you picked up a throw pillow and swung it at him, smacking it away with a giggle.
“Okay, okay. I’m sorry. Your picks don’t suck!” he plead, taking the pillow from you and tossing it aside “But really sweetie, have you looked over the stuff the doctor gave you? We should be thinking about our birth plan.”
“Our!? You’re not the one squeezing a watermelon out of a straw.”
Matt held his hands up in surrender.
“The plan is,” you continued “Go to hospital. Give birth. Fin.”
Matt rolled his eyes, leaning back on the couch and casually throwing his arm back around you.
“Har, har.” he replied sarcastically
“We’ve got time and right now I’m craving pretzels and peanut butter from that German deli in Midtown, so I can’t exactly think straight.”
“What about a home birth? In a birthing pool? Wouldn’t you be more comfortable here?”
“Drugs. Matthew. I need drugs.”
“Yeah? You don’t want to try a natural—”
“Watermelon. Straw.” you said firmly
“Right.”
He kissed the top of your head, pulling you in to a calming hug. Any reservations you gave him tonight clearly weren’t going to hold him back from still giving you his all.
“Whatever happens, I just want you and the baby healthy.”
“Me too.” you agreed
Those three little words you could feel were growing inside you and dancing in the wings ready to make their debut. Even with talk of marriage and him confessing it first, you couldn’t find the strength to say them yet.
A comfortable silence fell between the two of you for a few minutes as he continued to hold you.
“Matt?” you asked sheepishly, cutting through the peacefulness
“Yeah, yeah.” Matt nodded, standing up and grabbing his keys and wallet to head up to the German deli.
Another perk of dating a successful and popular lawyer was all the former clients he’d built relationships with, many of whom were happy to welcome Matt into their homes and lives as a thank you for all he did for them. Which is how you ended up at a prime table in the Upper West Side’s most popular restaurant on a busy Saturday night, with a complimentary appetizer and dinner already in your stomach. You were currently staring down an enormous slice of cake sitting on the plate in front of you that the waitress just dropped off. The head chef was a former client of Matt’s who he’d helped in a workers comp case and told him to ‘swing by any time’ for the best meal in town. Boy was he right.
“Hnnggg” the sounds you were making were downright pornographic, pregnancy hormones amplifying the taste of every thing. And right now, this chocolate cake was beyond indulgent.
“Am I at least going to get a bite?” Matt asked with a chuckle
You threateningly waved your fork in his direction as you ran your tongue along your teeth inside your mouth to ensure you tasted every single crumb.
The restaurant was cozy and down to earth, despite how decadent their dishes were. A South American and Italian infusion spot with moody lighting and enough nooks and crannies that your booth was incredibly private. Matt had been nursing a whiskey (also comped by the kitchen) all night and was more laid back than you’d seen him in a while.
You took another sip of your mocktail, preparing for another bite of the heaven-sent dessert.
“You never finished your story. What happened to Foggy and the girl from Punjabi 101?”
“Oh, she moved back to California and married her cousin.”
“You’re joking!”
You loved when Matt laughed, crinkles appearing at the corners of his eyes behind his glasses and his damn adorable smile beaming through the dark room.
“Nope. Broke Foggy’s heart. But it was for the best. He never would have gotten with Marcy if she’d stayed.”
“Did he take it the next term? Or drop it since she wasn’t around?”
“Oh no, he took it all 3 years of law school.”
“Has it ever once come in handy?”
“Nope.”
Your threw your head back in laughter, unable to control how amusing you found the story. Matt shook his head as if he was remembering many more stories he wasn’t saying out loud from his and Foggy’s yesteryears.
“Wow, so you and Foggy have been friends since law school?” you inquired
“Yeah, it’s why we started our firm together. He’s the best of the best and there’s no one I’d rather work with.”
“And he’s the reason you stopped, you know, your night job?”
Matt scowled at your question, fidgeting in his seat as he thought of his response. There was a look of melancholy on his face and it reminded you of how he looked when you’d had the conversation about his mother.
“Yes. He— he never liked that part of me. But he’d grown to accept it over the years.”
“And then?”
A despondent sigh left Matt’s lips as he brought his glass to his perfectly pouty lips and downed the rest of his whiskey. You regretted dampening the mood with such a sore subject. But you were curious. There was still so much about his life he hadn’t shared.
“He got hurt. He nearly died. His heart even stopped, I heard it. And it was my fault. Being Daredevil put the people I care about the most at risk.”
“What happened?”
Matt shook his head, waving his hand.
“I don’t want to talk about it. It’ll ruin the evening. Foggy’s mostly fine now. And I’m not him anymore.”
“And you’re happy about that? To not be him anymore?”
“I’m happy to not complicate my life any more than it already is.”
You stared at your now empty plate, wondering if Matt would ever want to go back to his vigilante life. It was compelling to you when you first discovered his secret, already finding Matt appealing just as the lawyer who bantered with you at work. But the danger of it all made him even sexier in your eyes; the double life, the rumors you’d heard about the type of people he hurt, the outfit. Now you just worried if there were people out there who still wanted revenge for all the years he spent keeping the city safe. Would they ever come after you or the baby?
“I can tell you why I started though.” Matt offered, a tinge of positivity in his voice as he leaned back in his chair
“Yeah?”
“When the accident happened, I was overwhelmed with it all. My hearing, sense of smell, all of it became sharper. I used to just lay awake in bed at night hearing so many sirens throughout the city. Then right after law school, I was in my first apartment. It was a real shit hole of a place. They don’t pay law interns well.”
You smiled at the thought of Matt in his early 20s, probably just as handsome but also adorable and awkward.
“Anyway, I heard it from down the block. A little girl. Her father was coming into her room at night after her mother had gone to bed.”
“Jesus. And you went right over to beat the shit out of the guy?”
“No, no. I did what you’re supposed to do; called the cops, filed a CPS report. But the asshole was clever, he did it in a way that didn’t leave a mark. I had spent the last 7 years in school and studying for the bar to use the system to help people. But then when it wasn’t working, I felt helpless. The law couldn't do anything to help that little girl. But I could. I knew his routine. Waited till he was alone.”
“Please tell me you killed the bastard.”
“No. I don’t kill. Catholic, remember?”
That fact surprised you a little. The stories throughout the city only told of Daredevil’s rage. You admired that Matt could keep it under control enough to not end a life.
“But last I heard” he continued “he’s still eating through a straw.”
Staring over at Matt quietly for a moment, you reached across the table to place your hand over his, giving it a gentle squeeze. The way he had a sort of moral code made you proud and confirmed all that he had shown you so far; that he was a good man and would help raise your child to be a decent human. But the faltering in his voice when he said it made you think it might not be that simple.
“I didn’t realize it was an accident either.” you remarked “I just kind of assumed you’d always been blind.”
“No. I was 9 when it happened. The last thing I saw was my Dad.”
Your heart clenched at the mention of his father. From hints and passing comments in previous conversations, you knew Jack was very important to Matt. While you respected that he viewed him as a hero, you held a little bit of resentment towards the man for how he left this world. His stupid pride robbed Matt of a life with his dad in it and made much of his son’s life more difficult than it needed to be. You couldn’t even begin to imagine the aftermath of loosing him and the effects of it on a poor child. How the tragedy reverberated through Matt to this day and shaped nearly everything about him. All the more reason you were happy that Matt was not going out as Daredevil anymore. He told you he didn’t want to repeat his parents mistakes. He didn’t want this baby to loose her father.
“Is he who taught you to fight?” you asked “I mean, you didn’t just go out as the Devil one night with no skills. He was a boxer right?”
“Yeah. But he didn’t teach me. My dad wanted me to stay out of the ring, get my education and make something of myself. Stick taught me to fight.”
“Stick? Was that like a video game or?”
“Stick was a person. A person who I’m very glad is not around to force his way into our baby’s life.”
“Yeah? Why’s that?”
“That’s also a conversation for another time.”
You rolled your eyes. You really didn’t appreciate all the stonewalling from Matt tonight. He had demons, who didn’t? But trusting you with that information would only improve your ability to raise this baby together.
“We should head home, it’s getting late.”
The air was crisp as you walked arm and arm down the side walk, taking your time to saunter home and enjoy this cozy date night. You couldn’t help but glance over at Matt, his muscular figure and handsome face accentuated by the harsh shadows cast over him from the streetlights and general city glow.
“What? Do I have something in my teeth?”
He must have felt you staring.
“No.” you answered sheepishly
“Then what is it?”
“You just look really handsome tonight, that’s all.”
“Ah, so you’re ogling me?” he teased
“Oh stop. I can’t admire how attractive my boyfriend is?”
“Only if we talk about how beautiful you are tonight.”
“You don’t know that.”
“I do. The dress you’re wearing is silky, hugs your body close. I liked the way it felt when I helped you zip it up; cool against your soft skin. And I can tell you feel great in it cause you’re walking a little firmer, a little more confident than normal.”
“Yeah, but that’s not—”
“You smell great too,” he cut you off “I really like the new perfume you got.”
“Matt, I—”
“And your laugh — God! I could listen to it on a loop and not get tired of it.”
You could feel the flush rising in your cheeks. Was that really how Matt ‘saw’ you? Sure, you’d allow him touch your face from time to time, content to let him memorize every curve under his finger tips to get an idea of what you looked like. But he really payed attention to all the little details that you didn’t even think about to paint a picture of you.
“And I know it not just me, baby. There were a lot of hearts that sped up when we walked through the restaurant.”
“I’m 15 weeks pregnant, they were probably just thinking about what a whale I look like.”
The way he pursed his lips at your comment distracted you from how his hand was creeping up, reaching under your jacket to give you a tickle.
“Hey!” you giggled “Matty!”
He relented, broad grin clearly delighted by your reaction. His hand found yours, pulling you close to kiss you, still laughing into your lips as he did.
"I love you." he affirmed
"I know."
"Ah, the Han Solo. Classic." he teased, happy to still give you the space you needed until you were ready to say it back
“You’re trouble, Murdock.”
“Why’s that?”
“Cause all I wanted to do was go home and groan about how full I am from dinner. But now you’re making me want to go home and be full of something else.”
Matt quirked up his eyebrows at your forwardness, mind running through all the possibilities you had in mind.
“I guess I’m the good kind of trouble then?”
You rolled your eyes as you kissed him again. Matt’s arm slipped around your waist, holding you close. Though you flinched a little at the movement, worried he might tickle you again. His other hand roamed down your curves, coming to rest on your bottom and giving it a flirty squeeze.
“Matthew! We’re in public.”
“Oh come on sweetheart, I’m listening closely and no one’s on the block right now. We could hide in that door way and—”
Matt paused suddenly, eyes darting back and forth behind his glasses. He did that thing when he heard something, tilting his head like a dog to a whistle. You hated when he did that, your anxiety rising wondering if he just heard a car honk or something more sinister.
“What? Matt, what is it?”
Matt didn’t answer, keeping both hands on your waist as he stepped back and squatted down.
“I can hear it.” he finally spoke, barely above a whisper.
“Hear what?”
“The baby. I can hear her heartbeat. It’s faint. And fast. But it’s there.”

Judex, Judicum, Infantem - Chapter 5
(Eventual)Reader x Matt Murdock x Frank Castle

warnings: SMUT/18+ (don’t interact if your age is not in your bio or I will block you!) AFAB Reader. No use of Y/N. Pregnant sex! Brief mention of vomiting.
Notes: I hit 2,000 followers last week and didn't even notice so I didn't prepare any kind of celebration. So instead, I'm going to post three!!! chapters this week to celebrate! This one today, one on Thursday, and one on Saturday or Sunday.

*I never give permission for my fics, manips, or any other original creation I post on Tumblr to be copied, posted elsewhere, translated, or fed into any AI program. The only platforms I currently post on are Tumblr and AO3. Thanks!*
You weren’t sure what was more spectacular, the way the sunlight filtered in like cascading brush strokes of orange and pink, or the crystal clear view of the Hudson and New Jersey beyond. If you had known dating a successful lawyer came with the perk of moving into such a luxurious apartment, you’d have agreed to go out with Matt much sooner. The nearly floor to ceiling windows were the primary thing you noticed the first time he brought you over here. You weren’t sure if you’d ever tire of standing in front of them and admiring the view that covered most of the living space of Matt’s— now your— apartment.
“Where is this going?” the woman with dark hair asked as she easily hoisted your antique dresser above her head
“Bedroom.” you replied, watching with confusion as she shrugged and headed further into the apartment
A blind guy and a pregnant lady were not two people who should be moving much, so you knew you needed help getting all your things uptown to your new dwelling. But when Matt said he had a few friends who could help you move, you weren’t exactly expecting more vigilantes.
“Jessica, can you please be a little more careful with my girlfriend’s things?” Matt called down the hall, as he stepped up beside you, giving your back a reassuring rub
“As nice as it is to meet some of your friends, why didn’t we hire movers?” you asked, looking around at the chaos that was spread around the living room as you combined your things.
Since Matt could afford a place like this, you were shocked he wouldn’t want to invest in the expense of professionals.
“Really Matt, Heroes for Hire does not exactly fall into the category of movers for hire.” the man named Luke jested as he effortlessly set down a box you knew was heavily packed with your book collection.
Wow, these two were strong.
“I wanted people we could trust.” Matt replied
“Well thank goodness she comes with a first aid kit,” Claire commented, noting the plastic case sitting at the top of the box she was carrying
As she pulled it out and triumphantly waived it in the air, you noticed Matt’s frame went rigid beside you. He hadn’t yet told you why he’d been light in the vigilante scene these days. Maybe Claire joking about you being the one to stitch him up brought up the reason in his mind, or maybe he just hadn’t thought through what life would look like as a vigilante with a family; if he ever did go back to it.
You certainly had thought about it though. Would Matt return to being Daredevil regularly? What would happen if his identity got revealed? To you? Your relationship? Your child? Or worse, what if he got hurt or even killed?
“Oh, were you a Marine?” Claire asked, interrupting your panic spiral
“No.” you replied, confused “Why?”
She rummaged past the first aid kit and pulled the first thing under it from the box; Frank’s sweatshirt. You were packing your apartment up so haphazardly, you’d almost forgotten it was in there. Since discovering Frank was gone, you tucked the item into a dark corner in the back of your closet, hoping to forget him but also not really willing to part with the only item of his you had. When Matt asked you to move in, you were so excited and overwhelmed and admittedly a little scatterbrained from being pregnant, you just grabbed piles of things and shoved them into whatever containers you could find.
Shit, that must be what Matt was actually upset about. You could see him out of the corner of your eye turn away from you and make his way into the kitchen, reaching for a glass and a bottle of whiskey.
“No.” you answered sheepishly “Something from an old friend I totally forgot I had.”
Claire shrugged and put the sweatshirt back, carrying the box into the bedroom.
Matt eased up shortly after his friends departed for the evening, mostly seeming back to his usual self as the two of you snuggled on the sofa and unwound for the night. The apartment was still scattered in boxes and various items of yours, but you both were too tired to actually start unpacking.
“Hang on” you said, feeling the bile already rising in your throat and rushing towards the bathroom
Great, now that you lived with Matt, he was going to hear and smell every reaction your body had to the pregnancy. It seemed your symptoms really ramped up as you approached your 12 week appointment tomorrow. Plus you were starting to have food cravings, calling him when he was out searching for Frank and instead had him swinging from rooftops in search of takeout.
Matt seemed totally unfazed as you returned to the couch, opening his arms up and inviting you back to your place.
“This is getting miserable.”
“Awe I know sweetheart, but the doctor said things should ease up after the first trimester and you’re so close.”
“Yeah until this baby starts getting so heavy that my back hurts constantly and I need to pee every five seconds.”
“You already need to —”
Thwap. You gave his arm a playful whack which caused the corner of Matt’s full lips to quirk up into a beautiful smile as he chuckled. Feigning injury, he pulled his arm away briefly before leaning back in to give you a kiss.
“Sorry baby, couldn’t help it.”
The way his lips pressed against yours sent a buzzing through your skull that radiated down your neck, down your sternum, all the way to in between your legs.
That was another symptom that had appeared in the last few days; you felt insatiably horny. And right now, Matt looked like the most delicious meal you could devour.
You leaned forward, pleading for more which he happily obliged. His lips were as soft as they looked and tingled against yours with the taste of spearmint mixed with the whiskey he’d downed earlier.
Matt had not touched you beyond a few sweet kisses and cuddles since you delivered the news of your pregnancy to him. The way his hands comforted and caressed you in the days since made you feel like he thought you were made of glass; a soft delicate statue like the saints he worshiped, the child of his that you carried the miracle that devined you.
You scratched at his scalp as you kissed, feeling him preening into your touch. Pulling away just enough to speak, you made sure your breath was still hot against his.
“You know I was reading up on unconventional remedies the other day. For my symptoms.”
“Mmm?” Matt’s brows shot up quizzically, a gentle hand lightly tracing a pattern into your waist as he held you.
“One pregnancy forum said sucking dick can help with morning sickness.”
The flush that rose to Matt’s cheeks nearly matched the color of his Daredevil suit and he cleared his throat as his eyes darted back and forth rapidly.
“You —um— You’re joking?”
His voice cracked like a pubescent choir boy. Oh how you loved to make this cocky flirt of a man crumble with just a few words. Lightly, you let your hand creep up his thigh, a centimeter at a time.
“Nope.”
“I don’t think in good conscience I can ask you to do that.” he stuttered
“You’re not asking. I’m offering.”
Apprehensiveness still lingered on his face.
“Matty please, I’m desperate. Both to not be nauseous and for you.”
“Sweetheart. We’ve both had a long and exhausting day.”
You knew he could read the pout on your face as you pulled back by the way his hands reached forward to keep you close.
“How about this?” he reasoned “Let’s take a nice warm shower. Together? Yeah? Get you a little relaxed. Then if you’re feeling up to it afterwards, I’ll consider it.”
“You’re no fun.”
“I’m a lawyer sweetheart. And one of us is going to have to be the serious parent.” he joked
Matt’s shower was a gift sent directly from the heavens, especially against your sore back and shoulders. A full walk in with a bench on either end, a rainfall shower-head above, plus eight jets running down the wall; all adjustable in both spray pattern and temperature. You could get used to this.
You could also get used to the way Matt was pressing his lips against your skin, sending a wave of goosebumps across your flesh despite how warm the steam was surrounding you. Relaxing under his touch, you hadn’t realized how sore you were until you finally let your shoulders drop as Matt ran delicate fingers up and down your flesh. His motions were slow, easy in the way he gently moved you around, spinning you to wet your body and then again so he could reach better. You closed your eyes and hummed at how cared for you felt in the moment.
He gently massaged your scalp to lather in your favorite in shampoo, pampering you while keeping his body closer to you than your own shadow. You could feel his hardness pressing into your behind as he took care of you, teasing you unintentionally. He was working you so well, relaxing you into a state of pliability that was doing nothing to calm your neediness.
You hummed once more, this time more of a whine at how desperately you wanted him.
“That bad, huh?” Matt joked
“It feels like my pregnancy hormones want me to somehow get pregnant again even though that’s impossible. Like I’ll explode if I don’t. That’s how badly I want you.”
You turned to face him, watching him calculating your body’s tells behind his glassy eyes. Pushing a strand of his dark, wet hair away from his face, you couldn’t help but smile at the way he nuzzled into your touch. Just maybe some of your desperation was wearing off on him.
“I’m not made of porcelain, Matty. The doctor said sex was perfectly okay and wouldn’t hurt me or the baby. Please?”
Gently, you drew him closer by the flesh of his hip so that his hardness pressed against your pelvis. He instantly melted against your lips, bringing a hand up to place behind your head and keep you close. Not like the tender kisses he’d been placating you with earlier, the way he kissed you back was growing with hunger.
You yelped into his mouth as your back hit the cold tiles of the shower. There was still a fragility to the way he touched and kissed you, traveling down your body with reverence. He kept his movements gentle as he guided your leg up on the bench and even more softly as he nipped as the flesh inside your thighs as he sunk to his knees.
“Wait, I thought I was supposed to be the one on my knees for you—- oh!”
Answering your protestations with only the motion of his lips to your sensitive bud, kissing it while rubbing his stubble back and forth against your thighs.
“Nope sweetie. Gotta take care of you now.”
He pulled away just enough to speak, then dove right back in. He sucked at your core as if he was devouring an ice cream bar in the summer sun, gentle enough to not loose a single topping but also quickly enough to not let it melt.
Labored breaths left your lips in whispers of his name. It seemed to ignite an invigorated fire within Matt, now grasping at your thighs to steady you as he increased the fervor of his tongue. Every circle of it against you drew you closer and closer to the edge. All it took for you to finally snap was the brief pause he took to look up at you, a combination of lust and adoration swimming behind his glossy eyes.
Relief washed over you as your cunt spasmed and contracted, like the first wave of the ocean hitting your flesh after soaking in the sun all day. It was warm and white and you tried your hardest to remain upright on shaky legs and slick tile. Grunting at the taste of your release, Matt didn’t stop until you were all the way through your orgasm.
“Well it didn’t fix the morning sickness like sucking you off might, but I won’t complain.” you commented, earning a hearty chuckle from Matt
You felt a little dizzy as you tilted your head back against the cool wall behind you, too blissed out to even notice as Matt stood and lined his hardness up with your slit.
All you could do was reach forward and hang onto his shoulders as he pushed inside you, inch by inch until he was comfortably seated. One of his large hands held under your thigh, supporting it as it rested on the bench. The other was pressed behind you on the wall, caging you in. You could taste yourself in his kisses, tangy and sweet. He thrusted gently, gauging how much you could take as you clung to him.
You nodded into the crook of his neck, urging him on.
“Is this okay? Are you feeling good?” he asked
“Mhm” was about the most coherent answer you could give
You could feel the warm, toned muscle of Matt’s chest against your breasts as only atoms separated you at this point. As he began to find a rhythm, your nipples rubbed against his taught muscles, extra pert from no longer being warmed by the spray of the shower and already oversensitive from your changing hormones. Your thighs burned as you efforted to keep yourself upright and if you weren’t in so much pleasure you would collapse into the puddle of warm water at your feet. Already still worked up from your last orgasm, you could feel another approaching quickly as his cock dragged deliciously along your walls
“Please…please…” you groaned into his ear, nuzzling at him to just be as close as you could
“I know sweetheart, I know. Let go for me, yeah?”
This orgasm was stronger than the last, blossoming from your core through the rest of your body. Your walls spasmed strongly around him and you could feel his muscles flex under you as he worked to hold you steady. All you could do was ride it out and cling to him like a koala as you came down.
He must have been close too, because Matt’s pace began to falter as he pitched himself up into you. Reveling in the dissipating fizz of you own after shocks, you somehow managed to bring a shaky hand up from his back and run it through his hair, giving it a soft tug.
“So close baby. So close.” he promised, kissing at your neck
It only took a little longer of you nuzzling against him and running a hand up and down his warm skin before he was grunting and shaking against you, releasing inside you in with a groan.
The mix of both your releases ran down your leg and combined with the rainfall droplets from the shower head above, now a lukewarm temperature, running into the drain.
“Careful, it’ll be slippery” Matt said as he gingerly removed himself from you and helped guide your leg off the bench.
Once you were out of the shower and all dried, you laid in bed snuggled in Matt’s embrace with your back flush against his chest. Wrapped comfortably in an old Columbia sweatshirt of Matt’s that he offered to you as you got ready for bed. You suspected the soft navy garment was a subtle territory mark over the one of Frank’s that still sat in the unpacked box.
He kissed at your forehead and ran a hand protectively over your stomach. You weren’t yet showing. Anyone passing by on the street wouldn’t think so at least. But you definitely looked like you had one too many burritos if you wore the right clothing. Getting dressed in the mornings had you favoring more stretchy pants and loose fitting dresses these days and you knew you’d need to get some maternity items sooner rather than later.
“I should get going soon. Do you want me to stay until you fall asleep?” Matt asked
You turned to face him, gently taking his chin in your palm.
“Matt, no. Please don’t go at all.” you plead “I really appreciate you doing the decent thing and trying to find Frank, but there’s no point. We’re building a life here together. I’m happy. You’ve already been so committed to this family and so am I. We don’t need Frank. I don’t need Frank. I just need you.”
Matt took the hand you’d been stroking his face with and moved it down to the left side of his chest, letting it rest over his heart.
The way he smiled at you, sincere and genuine made your heart want to burst.
“Okay, sweetheart. Whatever you want.” he agreed
You rewarded him with a sweet kiss, happy with the way he grinned into it.
“Maybe some day, when this is more behind us, you can tell me exactly what went down between the two of you. I know it’s complicated.”
Matt nodded in agreement.
“But not tonight. You need rest baby, we’ve got a big day tomorrow.”
You hummed, twisting to resume your position laying back against his chest.
As you drifted off to the sound of his steady heartbeat in your ears, you clung tightly to him, finally content at having such a soft place to land. A soft place with Matt.
And then a thought danced across your brain, as gentle as a feather in the wind.
I love you.
Goddammit.
You would have loved to stay in bed just a little longer, angrily burrowing further under the cover at the realization that it was already morning. But the way you could hear Matt rushing around getting ready, you knew you needed to get up.
When you opened your eyes, however, you weren’t expecting to see him already fully dressed, finishing the last loop on his tie.
“Matt?”
He rushed to your side and placed a quick kiss on your forehead. He appeared panicked, eyes darting everywhere as he adjusted the knot on his tie.
“Sweetie, I am so sorry but the judge just called an emergency session for the Madison trial next week. I’m going to go to the courthouse and see what I can do to get out as quick as I can.
Your heart sank. Your 12 week appointment was today.
“Matt, it’s—”
“Don’t you dare say it’s fine sweetheart, cause I know it’s not.”
Flopping back down onto your pillow you let out a sigh, unsure of what to say. The disappointment was twisting knots into your stomach and you could feel the tears beginning to pool in your waterline.
“You’re right it’s not, but I guess I really don’t have a choice.”
“I will explain to the judge and see if he’ll let me go early. I’ll try to meet you there.”
You nodded, utterly dejected at the thought of Matt missing this crucial appointment. What if everything wasn’t okay? Matt wiped at the tear that had escaped and was running down your cheek at the thought of receiving bad news today and Matt not being by your side for it. You should have seen this coming. It was all too good to be true. Matt was letting you down, just like Frank had. Just like all the rest. Your heart broke for yourself sure, but also for your baby. Was this what their life was going to be? A dad who couldn’t show up when it really mattered?
“I guess you gotta make money so we can feed this baby.” you joked with another sigh, causing Matt to grimace at the deflection
He gave you one more quick kiss, heart breaking at the despondence he could feel radiating from you, then he was out the door.
He texted you as much as he could throughout the day to keep you posted, but with 5 minutes to go until the doctor called you back, and Matt being 20 blocks downtown, you knew it wasn’t likely he’d make it in time. You shuffled your feet anxiously against the floor of the waiting room, hoping by some miracle he’d pop through the door.
Of course it wasn’t until you were leaving the doctor’s, appointment complete and paperwork filled with news in hand, that you finally got the text from him.
‘Leaving now. In a cab.’
Fucking of course.
You texted him back.
‘Just finished. Meet at your office instead?’
You’d figure out a way to make him pay you back later for missing out on this, but right now all you wanted to do was get to him and tell him everything.
When the taxi dropped you off, you looked up, Matt’s figure clear in the window of his 5th floor office pacing back and forth.
If you weren’t pregnant and exhausted, you’d have taken the stairs just to punish him with waiting to see you a little longer. Instead you opted for the elevator, rocking on the balls of your feet in anticipation as it seemed to take forever to get up to his floor.
With a ding, the elevator door opened and you stepped forward to see Matt still pacing at the end of the hall. He abruptly stopped and turned as he listened to you make your way to him. You knew your heart had to be beating out of your chest and you could feel a little bit of sweat running down your back.
Clutching the little black and white printout close to your chest, you stood before him, staring into your own reflection in his cherry tinted glasses.
“How’d it go?”
“How was court?” you replied, tinge of hurt dripping in your words
“Not funny sweetheart. We’ll catch up later. The baby?”
“She’s healthy. Right on track still.”
“She?” he asked, smile slowly spreading across his face
Had you been more prepared for Matt missing the appointment, you would have done something cute to tell him like printed a braille sign or something.
“Mhm” you confirmed, holding out the ultrasound
He took it, running his hands over the smooth glossy paper, not able to read what it said but knowing the information on it was life changing.
“We’re having a girl!” he exclaimed
He place the print out on the desk behind him and took your face in his hands. Gingerly, he began to plant soft kisses on each of your cheeks, then your eye lids, then your nose, your brow, your temples, then your lips. You could feel the dampness of tears running down from his shaded eyes as he moved his lips across your face.
“We’re having a little girl.”

That’s my payment.
You may have touched on this before but I can't remember buuut....
Taking charge of cutting/trimming Frank's hair.
It's such a sweet, intimate thing to do. And I'm just imagining him holding you in his lap while you're laser focused on getting it even, I think it's so cute.
Frank. would. love. this.
He'd sit in the ancient wooden chair in your tiny apartment kitchen and you'd wrap an old towel around his shoulders to keep the hairs off him and he'd happily spend the next thirty minutes in the eye-line of your cleavage, indulging you to take your time.
"Ain't a rush doll. Go slow with those shears, they're sharp as hell," he murmurs, his fingertips always skimming your hips as you weave in front of him between his spread legs. He'd let out the smallest, almost imperceptible grunt when your outer thighs pushed his legs open further as you bent close to make sure your trim was even. Typically you'd know what the grunt meant but you were too concentrated on the task at hand to notice.
He'd close his eyes at the way you kept combing his hair and making little snips, taking a minute to be close enough to you to smell the perfume you'd applied hours ago and how it smelled practically melted into your skin, creating a new scent that was just you.
You manage to nip your finger just a teensy bit, only the smallest smudge of blood oozing out. You mumble "damnit" and Frank's eyes open to you again, taking your hand in his and tugging the finger in his mouth to clean it off. He gives it a quick kiss and says "Told ya to go slow sweetheart." You roll your eyes and get back to work, bending closer to him and snipping his hair meticulous and slow -- practically hair by hair. Frank takes the opportunity to wrap his broad paws around the globes of your ass, a satisfied hum rumbling in his chest as he closes his eyes again.
After another few minutes you stand and stretch your back, saying "All set Frankie" and Frank opens his eyes, his brows pulling together.
"Nah nah, you missed a spot or something sweetheart. Stay here," he teases, pulling you until you tumble into his lap, positioning you to straddle him on the rickety chair.
"We're gonna break this thing Frank," you chuckle, referring to the chair. His eyes light up a little at that, like it was a dare.
"S'that right? Well I gotta pay ya for the haircut don't I sweetheart?" he asks, not waiting for your answer before he stuffs his crooked nose in the crook of your neck and nips at the delicate skin, pushing your hips into the bulge in his pants as the chair squeaks below you.

Illicit Affairs Masterlist.
Summary: Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter is a shattered man, once again confined to Riviera Psychiatric Institution. Stripped of his badge, his purpose, and anything resembling peace, he spends his days in a numb routine—therapy sessions, meds, silence. The walls close in a little more every day.
Then there’s you.
The chaotic variant who crash-landed into his life with bad coffee, sharp eyes, and a mouth that didn’t know how to shut up. You, who sat across from him like you’d known him for years. You, who didn’t flinch at his name or the weight of his past. You, who on that first day out of his room, made him feel something—for the first time in a long time.
Thrown together in group therapy, shared rec hours, and whispered conversations through thin walls, the two of you form an unlikely alliance. Over time, that threadbare connection deepens—into something volatile, raw, and painfully real. A bond forged in shared fractures and quiet defiance, one that spans across years.
Before the world dragged him back into the darkness, there was this: two broken people in a broken place, finding a strange kind of clarity in each other.
