I love the generational gap between emoji usage. Anyone over 50 sees 🙃 and thinks "silly time! whee 🙃", whereas the rest of us immediately hear, verbatim, "they ask you how you are, and you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine, but you just can't get into it because they would ne--"

Something I've noticed is that some of y'all will hype of white (usually male) celebs for doing the bare minimum when it comes to social justice things. Like chris evans can tweet out "congrats biden" and y'all are all over him. Or an actor can have their pronouns in their bio and y'all scream for them. But here's the thing... black actors like Don Cheadle and Gabrielle union (theres more people but I just woke up lmao) have been doing this for years. Like Don Cheadle continously calls out racists on twitter. And I feel like for them its more than just a social media post? Like Don Cheadle wearing a t shirt that says "protect trans kids" on snl on national TV is huge. Gabrielle union and her husband celebrating and loving their trans child is huge. Its a big deal. Chris evans saying "go vote!!" is nothing compared to anthony mackie who came out to Atlanta on his day off and made sure people were registered to vote here. And I hate how that's overlooked when we talk about celebrities bc a white man says "racism bad" or whatever.
