a comic for @ladybeug's wonderful and hilarious la chata au! i've had this idea rattling around in my brain for years, so it feels good to finally get out of my notes app and onto paper, even if it is uh. *checks watch* five years after I said I would make it.

it's honestly impressive how much Feligami instantly made sense to me for someone who hadn't considered the ship at all until it was suddenly extremely canon extremely quickly.

like, of course felix would be immediately obsessed w the first (non-family) sentibeing he met. and of course kagami, who is so lonely and stifled by a controlling mother and desperately wants to feel wanted and craves affection, would be absolutely swept off her feet by a guy who saves her from having her willpower stolen, shows her this grand new world, explains to her the Secrets of Her Existence that she was never before privy to, is absolutely enthralled by her and cares about her opinions so much, wants nothing more than for her to be herself and make her own decisions, and is literally just her ex-boyfriend but with the personality she'd wished her ex-boyfriend had. of course they became instantly obsessed with each other. of course their relationship would move quickly. they don't hesitate and they both feel like theyve finally found the person they've been looking for all their lives but never thought was real.

also theyre two incredibly sheltered lonely teenagers. of course they are so cringe and intense about it once they get together. honestly realistic

Just realized something dumb about how the show deciding miraculous holders can just bullshit their way into getting power-ups or negating the whole time out sequence. They could basically make miraculous like the fox overpowered/broken by just going "fuck you that's no longer a weakness"

Alya just removing the whole Illusions get dispelled by physical contact thing

Max being able to open multiple portals simultaneously instead of two connected ones

Lila be able to create multiple Akuma at once without them originally sharing an item, Catalyst/Puppeteer/Gamer2.0 being used to modify/help her or whatever Gabriel & Tomoe did with the Alliance rings

I can't even tell what even happened that caused Marinette and Adrien to "grow up". They were at Chloe's mercy, they decided they didn't want to detransform, and boom! No more timer.

It's hard to tell what's dumber: The fact that simply "growing up" is enough for you to unlock the full power of your Miraculous, or the fact that every Miraculous has a different transformation phrase specifically designed for evil uses that also slowly kills you for some reason.

Hot take: Alya is a good friend. Sometimes, being a good friend means looking into a situation more deeply, and digging for evidence, instead of just going with your friend’s perspective. That friend can still be right of course, but fact-checking and listening to the other people involved, and THEN making your own judgement, is the right thing to do. Also, sometimes even your friends need to be reined in, like Alya did in Risk, or to at least stop and think about a situation more. Choosing not to participate in something that could potentially be harmful to others if your friend’s perspective is inaccurate or incomplete is reasonable.

Alya’s kind to Marinette and tries to help her where she can, but Marinette’s as human and flawed as anyone else, and it’s good that Alya thinks and does some digging before helping Marinette with something that could go wrong, or hurt someone else. Even if Alya’s conclusion is incorrect (usually based on lack of data), her method’s decent.

adrien and nino grow up and get married and have kids and their house is always messy and noisy and busy. they never say no to having friends over. their living room is always full of kids laughing and they always have enough food to feed anyone who’s hungry. dinner most nights involves pulling up chairs and cramming around the table to eat the dinner nino has happily tripled from what he originally planned to make. adrien is always happy to drive other kids home if they need it. sleepovers are always a yes, extra blankets and pillows are in the hall closet, and there’s snacks in the pantry if you get hungry, you can help yourself. summers mean warm nights in sleeping bags under stars in the backyard and of course the neighbors can join in. they can never quite keep up on chores but that’s okay - they’ve never minded a little bit of clutter to remind them their house is lived in and loved.

March is officially here, and with Spring around the corner it's time for our writer brains to shake off the hibernation. And you can help us!

For this month’s MWG event, we’ll be playing the Fic I Won’t Might Write game.

How does it work, you ask?

It's easy : send us an ask providing a CHARACTER/SHIP and the TITLE for a fic you’d like to read (no other pointers for a fic direction!). Our participants will then share a summary or a snippet of the fic as they imagine it (and if your prompt sparks a big enough inspiration flame, maybe even a full fic! But bear in mind this event is about giving our writers space to dream up a story, even if they don’t have the time or energy to write it, so we'll kindly ask that you don't pressure anyone into writing more than what they've shared, please).
