should I bring my little gear on vacation?

soon I will be travelling alone for the first time, I am going to spend a week with my grandma and then the week after is my cousins wedding. I will be away from my beloved pets and most of my stuffies for two whole weeks!! (not to mention most of my family for one week) and I'm nearly certain I will end up slipping at some point. So im debating whether or not to bring a paci, i have a few; one big one and a couple baby ones. None of my family knows about my regression and im a bit scared. I know I can get away with bringing stuffies since I take them everywhere and coloring books are easy airport entertainment but a paci? that i can't explain...should i risk it?

im pretty sure i could keep them hidden im just scared of them showing up on the little x-ray screen thingy at security

I started re-watching because I felt like it would be good for my mental health, like this is a point in my life where there are some lessons I need to re-learn. I did not expect to get this exited about age regression again.

I just remembered my second Pride, where I made different flag themed daisy chain bracelets/necklaces to hand out. I need folks to understand something:

They were free.

They were fucking free.

They were maybe ¢60 of acrylic yarn each at the most, and the whole ziploc bag of them took 2 hours max.

Three people gave me sad eyes until I took their money.

Someone who was clearly the mom friend of their group made me take a $5 and gave a 10 minute pep talk.

At least four more people insisted on getting change to pay for the, once again, free bracelets.

In spite of all these shenanigans, the absolute best was this one person who I can only describe as, “queer surfer dude who looks like a boyfriend who looks like a girlfriend.” I can remember nothing of the outfit, only the impeccable vibes. I did the same thing I did with everyone else, explaining the bracelets were free, and they nodded along as they took the last 6 strand rainbow bracelet. As soon as they had it on their wrist, they pointed at something over my shoulder and, like a fool, I looked.

Next thing I know, they’re running off cackling, yelling, “YOU’LL NEVER CATCH ME!” and I’m holding a fucking $20. I had to stop at least two people from chasing them, cause they thought the person stole something, and then they tried to give me money cause they thought it was funny seeing me flail over people being Too Nice.

That was the year I got reverse-robbed at Pride. I hope everyone out there is having a good time and, in particular, that queer surfer dude is out there still causing benevolent chaos.

Yeah you're right. It WOULD be pretty fucked up if you were a swan but you were raised by ducks and you grew up never seeing another swan or even knowing that such a thing as a swan even existed so you just thought you were a duck with something super wrong with it.

I don't wanna take credit or anything...yes I do and I absolutely will, (I like to believe) I started a sort-of trend at my school by taking a stuffie to school every day, at first I got some weird looks but i expected that and didn't care, then next thing I know it's the second semester and people are carrying around their V-Day bears and then it kinda just stops being weird, there was good handful of us just bringing our little guys around!

My teachers loved it, I would bring every stuffie once until everyone had been to school with me, and then it was a random pick, so they never knew who was next, I had one teacher who always asked me their names, best. teacher. ever.

Some of the ways I chose who came with me:

Who goes best with the outfit? Same color, similar pattern etc.

Is it going to be hot? pocket pal, Cold? bring a good snuggle

Is there a chance I will slip today? bring someone to chew, to snuggle, to hide behind etc.

as an autistic person that struggles with social anxiety, taking my comfort plushies with me always helps me be more comfortable.

it's not wrong to have comfort items, and we shouldn't be shamed for carrying them around!

guys pleaseeee i’m begging so many of you to stop using the agere community like a dating app. please stop trying to look for cgs or trying to make total strangers your cgs. your friends, partners, and even family members can be your cg. looking for one online is so dangerous and i’ve seen it happen way too many times where DDLG/nsfw CGL caregivers sneak into sfw spaces and take advantage of vulnerable littles looking for caregivers. please, stick with the people you know and trust. i didn’t ask my partner to be my cg until 8 years into our relationship. and i have a few older sibbies who somewhat act as cgs as well who were also friends with me beforehand.

i can’t stop anyone, but this is just a suggestion to keep some of you guys safe. many of you are vulnerable in your headspaces, don’t let anyone take advantage of that.
