went to the Boston show last night! genuinely think that was the most fun I’ve ever had-

I brought some art and got a bunch of signatures from @bughuntermusic @narcissistcookbook Papa Bug and Jesse Gallaway (idk if they have tumblr or what their tumblr is) also here’s the photo from one of their other shows that inspired the drawing!

was super proud of it bc this was my first drawing that wasn't just a flower in like- a year or two-

also got to get a photo with Matt while I was there!!

I had suchhhhh a fun time- got a bunch of merch, signatures, gave out my little trinkets that I brought (an alpaca keychain and a little bottle with glitter and the word “fuck” in it bc tbh that feels very much Matt’s thing-)

Boston was so fun, all the other fans were amazing, and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did :D

I almost came to the show tonight (Cambridge) with an Elmer Fudd hat and posters from Looney Tunes that saids "Bug Season" and "Bne Season" but was told looking like you're here to hunt the performer is unadvised

Truly, what an amazing and magical night getting to see @narcissistcookbook and @bughuntermusic for a third time. They both are such wonderful and talented performers. It is such an honor to see people doing what they love and being so damn good at it. The space they create for the audience is always so warm and safe. If you get a chance to see them live, please, please do. It is so worth it. (Also, ignore my terrible singing. "The Simplest Words" is one of my favorite songs, so deal with it.)

I’d like to point out how deeply delightful it is to me that alchemical romance by bug hunter refers to the person in the song as both a wizard and a witch, and only calls them by gender neutral pronouns. More gender neutral songs please. As a non-binary person, it makes me so happy to see. Go listen to it btw

Hi! I just want you to know that ever since I showed my little brother 2 bed 2 bath and a ghost, he's been obsessed with connecting all your songs together in a sort of linked universe. (He had quite the field day with shocking plot twist) he thinks neighbor guy is the guy from coward, and he thinks the old man was in the mafia (presumably cause the song mentions a mafia boss) and thus was the same guy from robbing a bank.

So i suppose my question to you is, do you think any of your songs are connected?

Yes! Every song on happiness is connected to each other for one big story!
