Old Man Of The Lake

Old Man is a 9 meter tall log that has been mysteriously floating upright in Crater Lake in Oregon, America. Old Man’s wandering around Crater Lake has been documented since 1896, making him 120 years old, but he may have been bobbing around much before that as carbon dating suggests it is at least 450 years old. 

Old Man is boyant enough to hold up a person, as demonstrated above, but he’s not all fun and games. Since it is impossible to know where Old Man is situated at a certain timem, boaters risk running into him and he has been tied off several times during submarine explorations.
