Austin Pt. 2

This is Austins project car. Well, it's not much of a project anymore as its probable the cleanest GSX around. This car is pushing 300HP to the wheels and is a really fun car to drive. Austin has kept the engine all stock and plans to keep it authentic that way. Austin has put this car on BC coilovers and has also put wheels on it. Austin loves this car and keeps it in storage during the winter. He tries not to put miles on this car as he wants it to last a lifetime. This car is heavily respected in the car community and taking it to meets is always a blast. I will keep you guys updated on here as new mods go on it.

Austin

This car belongs to my buddy Austin. This is a 2020 Subaru WRX and this is him daily. This car pushes 268HP from the factory and picks up very quickly. It is equipped with a 4-cylander flat 4 engine and sounds absolutely amazing. He hasn't done much to it because he drives it every day, but he does have some plans for it. He plans to do some power mods in the future and maybe some ne wheels. He has not fully planned out his build as he has been busy building his other car (Will be shown in the next post). Austin has always loved WRX's and has always wanted one since a kid. When he bought his project car, he still wished he had a WRX. So last year, he decided to buy one. He does not regret his purchase at all and enjoys every moment he gets to drive it.

Owen

This is my friend Owens car. Owen has had a love for motorsports since a little kid. He raced dirt bikes and grew up building cars with his dad. This is his 2013 Audi A6. This car may not look like a whole bunch to the naked eye but there is over $30K worth of modifications done to this car. This car comes with a 3.0L supercharged engine. Owen has taken every part of that stock engine and thrown it out. This is a fully built motor and FBO. Owen currently makes around 550-600WHP and this is an absolute beast. This car has just about everything you can think of done to it and is a staple in our friend group. Owen loves this car and even shares his love with the family. His mom also drives a fully built Audi A6 on bags, and his father has a fully restored, custom, Chevy Chevell that is the cleanest car I have ever laid my eyes on. Owen has always shared his love for cars with his friends and always will continue to do so.

Landon

This is my buddies Landon car. It is a 2014 Volkswagen Golf GTI 4 door. HE recently picked this car up after having issues with his AUDI S4. Landon loves this car and have many plans for it. Recently he has installed a new bumper, headlights, a full exhaust, and an intercooler. This summer Landon plans on many more modifications such as wheels, suspension, fuel management, and a tune. His goal is to beat me in a race (I hope this day never comes) but with the work he is putting in its definitely a possibility. Although this car is FWD it definitely has some speed. Landon loves this car, and I am very excited to see what he does with it in the future!

My Car

Today I will be writing about my car. I own a 2004 WRX STI. It is mostly stock. It has suspension work done, a full exhaust, and a tune. I love this car it has treated me very well throughout the years and has been pretty reliable for what it is. This car has gained lots of respect throughout the car community in my area and I love taking it to car shows. This car is equipped with a 2.5L turbocharges engine, 6 speed manual, and all-wheel drive drivetrain. After the exhaust and tune the car is pushing out around 350HP. This doesn't seem like much for this super light car it pulls. This car is amazing, and I plan to keep if for a long time. Tune back in for more updates on it later down the road!

Introduction of "Building Speed"

Over the past 100 years car have developed into absolute machines. Ever since the 1950s when racing became a bigger sport, millions of people have competed to see who can make the coolest and fastest cars.

Building cars is all about the speed and looks of a car. Some people Build cars for it only to look cool, some build cars for it to only go fast, and some build cars for both! This Blog will be sharing the adventures of me and my buddies building our cars.

Conor (on the right) has always been into cars. He started his adventure in a 2013 Audi S5. He loved the car but soon realized he wanted some faster. After working hard and saving he bought his BMW. This BMW is equipped with a fully built stage 2+ motor and is FBO (Full Bolt On) with Twin-Turbos. This car has also been lowered and many suspension parts have been modified for handling on a track. After building this and getting it tuned, he took it to the dyno. To our Suprise it was pushing 613HP to all wheels.

This car is definitely still in the early stages of being built and cosmetic modifications will be coming soon. I will keep Updates on this car here on Building Speed!
