Lyrics that was written from the bottom of her heart, made into a song to tell the world. This is the beauty of MAMAMOO. Never leaning towards catchy beats and repetitive music with lyrics that don’t make sense, but always inputting so much depth and meaning into them. It may not draw the international crowd that continuously allow big groups to dominate, but I swear it shows so much in how MAMAMOO and the girls think through their masterpieces.

Maria is a masterpiece. So is Eclipse, Spit it Out, Absence, Hip, Windflower and so many more from the girls (I could go on and on and list ALL the songs from MAMAMOO). I really love the maturity of each song and performance, and how EVERY song sounds different (not a repetition of what we have heard before). PLUS, I love how the girls are involved in the songs too. Their heart, their soul, poured into it.

P.s.: A personal opinion, no hate.

P.p.s.: Let’s all not pay too much attention to the rankings. Reaching the top is just a cherry on top :) Appreciate the music, appreciate the artist. 🤘🏻
