Bulk SMS Marketing or Bulk SMS Blasting
Are you one of those advertisers or companies who believe you're deliberately engaging in Bulk SMS Marketing merely because you're blowing out bulk SMS loaded with "irresistible offers?" Bad news: that's not marketing, and you're just wasting your time and resources. Good news: you can turn it around, but first of all, you need this information.
What's marketing, by the way?

According to business legend Philip Kotler and his co-author Kevin Keller in a powerful novel, Marketing Management, "Marketing is about understanding and fulfilling individual and social needs.
One of the shortest good selling ideas is 'profitable meeting of needs. "And I especially like Richard Schefren's concept of marketing, "Marketing is taking your product or service to the market."
So, are you doing bulk SMS marketing?
Taking into account the aforementioned marketing concepts, can you say that you are doing bulk SMS marketing?
I mean, whether you rent a list of phone numbers or even create a list yourself, then send out promotional deals to them, will you say you're marketing? Will that make the market want your product or service?
It's not possible. It needs a lot more than that. That's what people call "SMS blasting." Bomb people with so many deals and they're going to come to displease you instead of having you and your product.
That said, when did you mention that you were doing SMS marketing?
When the promotion of SMS happens?
First, recognize that marketing is a method that needs time to materialize. To do bulk SMS marketing in the true sense of it, you have to create your phone number list from scratch or purchase a list whose demographics you know, I mean a list of people who need what you're offering.
When you have that in place, recognize the human and social needs of these people, as Kotler and his friend have suggested, then address these needs by regularly delivering services that can fix their issues and/or help them accomplish their goals... Around the same time, it shows your integrity and consistency.
When time progresses, the list is going to get to know you and identify with you. Then it becomes easy to sell to them.
This is publicity. And let's not ignore the good old tradition of segmenting your list so that you can connect with them in a targeted and personal way.
So, blasting people with the same post at the same time is not marketing at all. And if you want to excel with your bulk SMS marketing campaigns, taking time to sell as against blasting is not possible, it is mandatory. Adjust the course of today!
