I just realized I've never fully shared how I keep track of my plushies and there lore and well its a lot. my plushies are kinda like OC's for me but there stories and personalities kinda write themselves lol I do like to keep physical and digital copies of all the goings on in the little world that they live in. I wanna show you a glimpse of it today maybe it will give you ideas for you're own plush or toys ^.^

I have three notebooks the one on the left is where I put all my plushies information(resident book) down so kinda like a more indepth birth certificate. the one on the right is drafts for ideas, stories, character development that's happened. The one in the middle is new but that's where non drafts go and where the plushies apart of the main cast will have more in depth intros. I do have a town map for them in the spiral bound notebook and in the middle one but that's a story for another day ^.^

I also keep a spreadsheet in case something happens to either notebooks, this Is all the information on each plush so date of birth, last name, occupation, hobbies ect etc

Last but certainly not least is i make pintrest boards for them it mostly for fun but it really helps me get a clear vision of what there personality is like and what the world they live in looks like through there eyes. I use piccrew character makers sometimes as well but the moodboards are my main go to.

Makin some boards based on shows I really liked as a kid (and that I like now when little !)

Zoboomafoo was great because it was informative like documentaries but in a much more digestible manner for kids ! Granted I liked watching documentaries/Animal Planet/National Geographic regardless, but still!

Some fun activities I think of with this show!

-> look up facts about the animals your stuffed friends are based on ! Maybe put it in an explorer journal !

-> getting outside and enjoying the fresh air and sun is a real nice way to connect with nature (that’s low energy too !)

-> while you’re out there, maybe take note of animals you see (you can see if your local library has a nature guide book on animals in your area)

-> take a trip to the zoo/aquarium ! Or if you can, even a National park (or just a local park — there’s always at least some wildlife, just don’t touch any)

-> dress up like your favorite animal !

-> make a stuffed animal zoo !
