Trying to not think about the time we were at GameStop and I said “if you buy me video games I’ll love you forever” TO A GUY IM NOT EVEN DATING and he started to look at the price of the game I was talking about and took 2 solid minutes considering it????? I kept going “wait no no no I was kidding please don’t buy that I don’t want you to spend that much money on me no no [redacted] no seriously don’t buy it it’s too much no no no” and him just going “why not” the whole time. Once we turn to leave he says “we’re coming back for that” and I just go “NOOO 🙈🙈🙈”

You say you need more time to get to know everyone on the team and see if you really vibe with everyone, but you’ve already met everyone. You get along really well. There are a few that haven’t come back to practice yet but the team tells you that once they do come back that you’ll all get along. So. What’s. The. Issue. Here? The forward is clearly bursting at the seams trying to not sound desperate, and you can tell the rest of the team is hoping you’ll join. But you need time to think about it. One of the midfielders called you captain once (at a practice you weren’t at) and you hear that from the others that the goalie corrected them quickly and harshly. The goalie makes sure to let you know many times that you’re not their captain. They ask left wing defender why they haven’t put the recruitment posters back up and they answer, “well I kinda don’t want anyone else to be our captain anymore.” That’s ridiculous, the goalie says, there’s plenty of talented people who applied and practiced with them at times, some of them had great potential. So why not ask them to be captain? “I don’t know, you just feel different from all the others” the defender tells you. The goalie asks a few others, “what made you guys come to practice again? Didn’t you like staying home or doing other things?” And they shrug and say, “I don’t know, practice just started to seem fun again.” The goalie tries explaining to the team, there’s so many people out there, some much more talented than you and some with way more connections that could get the team farther as a whole. Everyone shrugs and sorta looks down, kicking the grass or picking at their uniform. “Why do you want to wait and hope for someone who isn’t sure yet?” You’re just standing there, watching it all go down. “Because we can wait until they’re sure. They seem worth the wait.” The goalie looks up at the forward in front of you. They’re smiling sadly. “You waited years for our old captain to change and they never did. What makes you so sure about this one?” “I’m not 100% sure, but I want to try. They seem worth it. There’s tons of other people who could be our captain you’re right, but no one we’ve met so far has fit in so well and quickly like this. I don’t want to let them go yet.” (2/2)

If you’re really good at soccer, and you enjoy it, playing the sport comes naturally to you, why would you not join a team? Why do you keep making the excuses that you don’t have time or energy or money to dedicate to playing; you don’t wanna experience the hard shit that comes with playing a sport like losing games or beefing with teammates or feeling like you’re not improving. But you know you can make it through all that and you want to win games, you want to feel the joy of being part of a team, and you want to watch yourself improve and feel that joy again. But no, you got an injury in the past so it makes it hard to play again, so you say it’s not worth it. The local teams are all shit anyways and it’s too expensive and will take up too much of your time; you’d have to get out of your comfort zone for that. You’ll watch games and give your friends advice for how they can improve their techniques; you’ll be a coach then. Yeah, coaching others feels right. Right? You can help others fulfill their dreams, the same dream you had. But eh it’s ok, it’s not meant to be. But then you find a team that really makes you wanna play again. Well, they kinda found you, coincidence. They make you feel so welcomed and they’re surprised you’re not part of a team already given how much of a natural you are. You say, “oh no I’m really not that good, I’m pretty rusty.” Their forward lets you know they’re actually having a falling out with their captain and so you help them through it. The captain was so toxic, they were better off parting ways with the team. Everyone grieved in their own way, some put up recruitment posters, others quit coming to practice. You made really good friends with their forward and you even had 1v1 matches sometimes because they asked you to help keep their skills sharp. Slowly you got to know the other members of the team, the goalie was the hardest to befriend, but you eventually got there. Those who put up recruitment posters silently took them down, the ones who quit practice slowly started to show up again. It really started to feel like a team again. Everyone started to look forward to practice because it felt like their passion had been revived. There was a game coming up and you were asked to be captain. Everyone nervously awaited your answer, and you said, “I’m sorry, I can’t. I’m not ready to be part of a team again.” The goalie scoffs and walks off, saying something along the lines of “see I told you.” The ones who took down recruitment posters cursed under their breath and felt stupid for taking them down so early, hoping they wouldn’t need them. The ones who had finally come back to practice felt their hearts sink and wished they’d stayed home. The forward asks you, “ why not? Don’t you enjoy playing? Is it something about the team?” You say no, it’s not any of that. You’ve been having so much fun at practice, getting to know everyone, you really want this. But you say it feels too soon. You’ll keep coming to practice but a game? Being captain? You don’t know. You say you don’t want to rush into anything. “But if it comes so naturally to you, you enjoy it, you love being part of our team, then why not?” The forward is so confused and upset. “You’re everything our old captain wasn’t and you know that. You fit perfectly on our team so why?” You ask for some time to think about it, to figure out how you feel. The forward resigns, taking a step back. “Ok. Please take your time, we don’t want to force you to play with us if you don’t want to.” A week goes by, and the forward asks you every day if you want to practice or play a 1v1. You indulge them some days, others you keep your distance. They pick up on this and start to ask less, although they’re clearly struggling to hold themselves back. You tease them on the days they don’t ask but clearly want to play. “Not gonna ask me to practice today?” “You know we would all welcome you, but would you even want to come or are you just pitying us?” You don’t have an answer for them. IMPORTANT POST PLEASE READ

Im gonna be honest and open for a sec, and please do not take this as "oh I HATE my community or I dont like the people who watch me" but honestly as of late (and I did highlight this during the mcc bit), ive felt like I havent been able to really be in my own community simply because of the constant way that "discourse" is handled. Making vague posts and not really tackling issues in a good way, all that is going to do is just show people a big "THIS COMMUNITY BAD" sign and not actually help anything within the community, all its going to do is have the good and potentially good people leave or not join in the first place. The way that discourse is treated that ive seen has been the main reason why I have started to try to distance myself, which has been the most heartbreaking thing I have had to do. I want problems to be solved in a mature, civil way, with either a dm or a reply, not an entire vague thing that only says "bad things are happening" and doesnt elaborate on anything or barely elaboratesa and only gives people on both the inside and outside a bad sign of what the community is. Making posts whenever something happens being like "here we go again" is only going to highlight the wrong things, and actually DOESNT help the issue at all! The problems should be discussed directly with the people who are doing said problems FIRST! Bring attention to behaviors and things that arent good DIRECTLY! And also, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO!!! It is not your duty as a viewer or fan of me to be involved in any of this if you do not want to! Just enjoy the content and make silly posts! As someone who constantly tried to fix and get into every problem as it was happening, it took a huge toll on my mental health, and I want you guys to just be able to enjoy the content without having to worry about what you say about it! Be constructive! Dont make posts again just being like "wow this community is so bad" because that doesnt solve literally anything! If you have enough passion to make the posts saying "wow this community is bad" then only post about that, you are only spreading that negative message, and not uplifting anything of actual value! And if the person you are trying to help is not willing or not listening, BLOCK! MUTE! DONT BRING MORE ATTENTION TO THE PERSON IF THEY ARE NOT BEING A GOOD PART OF THE COMMUNITY!!!! I know I say that if I see problems I will call them out, but I shouldnt have to babysit every single time a thing happens within the community as that just isnt a healthy way for a creator or a community to be handled. This does not mean that I do not care about the issues or dont want them fixed, rather it shouldnt take me having to make some grand statement every single time something happens it should take only your own self reflection and self awareness. And to add onto this, make sure that every once in a while no matter who you are you think and have that self reflection, you should be open to being willing to learn and grow as a person! And again, I do NOT want anyone taking this as "Wow this community is terrible" but rather that we just have things that need to be fixed and changed and THAT IS OKAY! I do not hate the community, I care so much about it that I want it to be a silly place for my content again! I want it to be the reason why people get into what I do because of it again! And I want to be able to just have fun and relax without having to worry about how every single thing that I may say could have someone stirring things up that simply dont help or solve anything! Take care of yourselves. And this isnt coming from a place of "I hate the community as a whole" but rather again I want to be able to exist and make content that we can all enjoy without having to worry about walking on eggshells around me or around eachother! At the end of the day im just a fella that wants to make silly videos for you all, and you are people who enjoy said videos. Nothing more. Nothing less.

area unknown scott aimsey lore recap 

for a bit of backstory, aimsey was always seen as “too human” to fit into the demon realm social hierachy, always being told they are “not demon enough” by everyone in the family, due to the fact scott created impossible standards that aimsey could never achieve because well, aimsey didnt want to be anything like scott. aimsey never wanted to be this “demon”, this title that was bestowed upon him. it never fitted him, as all aimsey wanted, and still wants, is to live life and grow old and fall in love. scott was everything that a demon should be, but aimsey wanted nothing to do with it. scott enters the town on search for his little brother (aimsey), and the pair are both demons from the demon realm (nether.) there is an obvious upset as aimsey reacts negatively to seeing scott join the server. aimsey meets up with scott, questions his intentions of being here, and scott explains he was just “worried” and wants to see what aimsey was up to considering aimsey left. aimsey, wanting to impress their older brother, takes scott around the town and in means to impress aimsey lies to scott about everyone in the town “being his minions” and how he is the “ruler” of said town. they walk around, scott making obvious digs and having aimsey do things they do not want to do (ex. killing someones pet, setting stuff on fire.. etc..), until they reach guqqies house. at this point, it was obvious aimsey had a crush on guqqie but it wasnt outspoken. scott, being the older brother, knew this by the way aimsey defended guqqie immediately and begged scott not to go near the house or do anything to it

next time they met up, scott was with guqqie. going against everything aimsey asked, aimsey confronts scott and explains that he just wants something that is finally his. after a very sad monologue, aimsey just asks scott to leave and scott explains he cant do that, and he laughs in aimseys face about how his crush on guqqie is hilarious as well as how aimsey cant keep running away from their own problems and has to stand up for once. aimsey cries, begging scott to just leave, but alas scott doesnt because what fun would that bring if scott didnt make his younger brothers life a living hell? we find out through a conversation between eloise and aimsey that the reason aimsey is afraid of water isnt because of aimsey being a demon and thus preferring lava, but instead its due to when aimsey and scott were younger, scott took aimseys first life through drowning her until he passed out. aimsey didnt know he had multiple lives, but when he awoke the next morning, scott was praised because that sort of behaviour was applauded in the family, whereas aimsey not wanting to feed into it was the sole reason she left in the first place. scott always hated this about aimsey, seeing aimsey as “too weak” to be apart of the family, and even too weak to be his own brother.  scott starts messing with the town, getting under aimseys skin completely, until aimsey decides to speak with eloise and the two create an entire plan to “take down scott”. the plan hasnt been sort through yet, however the pair being the “detective duo” have managed to source an end portal and some more information about immortality, and the way in which you can fiddle with that and erase it.  since then, aimsey has been preoccupied with her relationship with guqqie, going on dates and exploring that relationship further, until one day guqqie was possessed by “who knows what”, which resulted in an argument between the pair, and even finished with aimsey losing his horn due to being brutally beat up until passing out. now, aimsey has been through the wars, fighting with michela over how closed off aimsey has been, not speaking with guqqie, and aimsey doesnt really know what to do from here. they wish they were angry, they wish they could scream and hold onto this anger that they should be feeling, but they are just defeated.  we currently dont know what scott has been up to, having making friends with the towns poltergeist named owen, he has been busy behind the scenes.
