He couldn't help but laugh as she reacted to him, apparently caught between impressed and concerned for his general overall well being. He seemed to recover without choking which was nice. He didn't need to ruin her night by trying to inhale his drink.

"Thank you. I will drink responsibly," he assured her. He liked how quick she was, how they were able to toss the ball back and forth without much effort. She seemed playful, and he liked that in a woman, especially a gorgeous woman who had a lot of other things going for her.

"That does explain a lot," he chuckled as she spoke, and he glanced around, as if concerned she might be needed elsewhere. The diner wasn't exactly full up but he was sort of taking all of her attention. Oh well. "Have you been working here long?" Stefan asked, after a beat. "By the way, if you have...other things to be doing, don't let me get you in trouble or anything. If you wanted, I could just...leave you my number and we could talk more when you're not on the clock."

"Oh wow ok." Katherine chuckled, a little taken aback by how he demolished that almost full mug of coffee.

"You really just tossed that back didn't you?" Yet another odd but impressive little detail about this man. "Someone had a great time in college huh?" She teased, pouring him a full fresh cup of joe. "Um, Please don't uh, don't chug that one, its much hotter than the other."

At his question Katherine smirked, quickly retorting playfully. Something he would surly come to understand was just her nature- playful.

"Actually no, the owner made a pact with the devil- which is why our food is so good... but that means we have to work till our feet bleed to fill the daily quota of sacrificial blood. Otherwise the whole establishment gets swallowed up into the ground or something I don't know. I didn't read the fine print when I applied." Luckily her manager isn't here to hear her or she would get in so much trouble for her little story.

For a hot second, X-Kit was no longer installed on my mobile browser and I was going to cry. It's back now, so all is well.

Hmm. An interesting conundrum. Also, pictures were supposed to make things easier. "My concern is that....it's not structurally sound on any level."

"What do you mean it..." Faith's hand shot out to snatch the instructions back from Stefan. Scowling, she stares down at the pages and can feel the irritation crawling across her skin as she twists and turns the booklet every which way before tossing it at Stefan's chest. "There's always extra pieces," Faith declares, "maybe Swedish people are just generous like that. It should hold the TV, right?" @bunnyblooded
