I had never entertained Byler as a possibility because I am an old and weary, cynical queer who was raised on scraps of representation. When season 4 came out I remember thinking ‘Is Mike…? No, no, they would never do that with the main characters of a mainstream show.’

Anyway, my wife and I decided to rewatch the whole show about four months ago and one morning I thought ‘I wonder what tumblr has to say about Season 5?’ and then I opened the tag was just hit with a wall of Byler proof.
