Some Christians are far too comfortable with turning serious events and God into humor and memes and puns.

God does not have a zodiac sign. God did not watch Bible movies to make witty comments about the real events in the Bible. God did not take screenshots of people’s sins and make a mockery of them on social media. God did not tell us His Name so that we could make puns out of it and say it in vain. God did not create a fandom, He created a church.

God does not want people to minimize Him and focus on cracking jokes about Him and His Word rather than listening and praying to Him.

There is a difference between wanting to be comfortable by reducing the Lord and His commandments to jokes and sarcasm versus recognizing that He wants a loving relationship with us and is the holy, perfect, sovereign God Who deserves our respect.

pt 7. adding information to a genome?

this is the stupidest argument I have ever heard, and it holds not to inspection. ANY change to a genome, adds information, a copy in a genome is due to a copying error, which changes something about the genome, from making something be built twice, to just changing one molecule. That change is new information. It has probably been seen before but not in context with the rest of the genome of whatever creature.

Matter is literally information, there is no such thing as "new never before seen information" because all information is just rearrangements of previous bits of information (provided all "current" information has been discovered) that is literally what DNA is, you can't have organized matter without information being "made" if you have ever seen a child grow, that's new information. But let's bet that isn't "new enough for you" what about new stars? they exist, and they have to start somewhere, and we know how they are created (by matter getting closer due to matter, until it starts fusing together) the first star was "new information".

okay so right, its not just matter to language to dna

its matter to atoms (hopefully believable)

atoms to molecules (definition of molecules)

molecules to reaction to different molecules (literally just reactions)

reactions to self-preserving reactions (not that hard to imagine as long as energy is entering the system (sun))

self-preserving reactions to more complex self-preserving objects

pt 5. DNA isn't a language ken

DNA is a series of molecules, that connect together

(Very simplified) a molecule goes through, reads a group of three molecules and creates a molecule that those three molecules encode for, it encodes for these molecules by essentially pure chance, these molecules react this way with this molecule because if it didn't that reaction wouldn't happen, and therefore we wouldn't exist. Our environment doesn't exist to fit us, we exist to fit our environment otherwise global warming wouldn't exist.
