people are concerned about gif icons while there is a revolution happening?

hi, nonnie! yes, people have been fighting day and night in hopes of shedding light on the systemic racism that has founded & continued to influence our country. it is essential, it is life - saving, to advocate for black lives now more than ever, because black always have & always will matter. you should be protesting, whether it be on the streets of your nearest city or in your home. if you have the money, you should be donating ! and if you don’t, or you just want to do more, you should be signing petitions. you should be listening to black voices — listening to their experiences, enjoying their art, enjoying their music. all of these things are important beyond words. 

i agree that we are weaving the fabric of history as we speak. however, i do want to make some things clear:

i wanted to do gif icon commissions as a way to raise money for charities & organizations that aid the victims of police brutality, the protestors, black-owned businesses, and more. since making gif icons is something that i am somewhat good at , i thought that it was a good idea to use this talent as a way to direct funds & traffic to the black lives matter movement! i can’t go to the protests right now, even though i want to so very badly — it hurts to know that i can’t be out on the frontlines fighting for this cause and protecting those he need it — so i’m doing what i can. all gif icon commissions are being donated directly to aforementioned organizations. although a grain of rice compared to other actions, the goal has alway been to aid a much greater cause.

everyone is allowed to cope during this time. everyone is allowed to step back and find comfort in the things they enjoy. i have always viewed the rpc as a haven for writers — a place where people can take their shoes off and take a breath when they’re not succumbing to the trials of their daily lives. it took me a while to realize that sitting and immersing myself in all of this information and negativity 24/7 is not healthy. not one bit. you need to take time to take care of yourself, whether it be for a quick lunch break, or for a couple of hors before you go to bed. whatever it is, if making some gifs of timothee shablagoo is gonna help you unwind a bit , i don’t fucking mind. 

i am so happy that you are supporting black lives so passionately! i am so grateful that so many people have been advocation so fiercely! just don’t shame people for trying to help the movement in any way they can & don’t shame people for finding a release during these difficult times.

recently , i’ve been seeing so many talented creators utilize their talents for the benefit of the black lives matter movement ( thank you to @folaevanakingbola​ , @olivaraofrph​ , @nesscreates​ , @osvaldrps​ ) — i want to offer my help as well ! all of the requests that are on my to - do list right now will be finished for free ! however , moving forward , i will be taking gif icon commisions in exchange for donations to black visions collective , reclaim the block , naacp legal defense fund , north star health collective , unicorn riot fund , or any of the other organizations listed on this page !

 ALL YOU WILL NEED TO DO IS SUBMIT THE FACECLAIMS YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE GIF ICONS OF , AS WELL AS A SCREENSHOT OF THE DONATION YOU MADE !

i can choose to decline any faceclaims that make me uncomfortable , and i ask that you respect that !

each commision will have a maximum of 500 gifs ! of course , though , the amount of gifs will depend on the amount of resources the faceclaim has.

in order to make these commisions fair , i will take THREE commisions at a time. it takes your girl a little bit of time to screencap , organize , and create the gif icons — and i don’t want to take on far too many commisions at once just to leave you waiting .

$1 = 15 gifs ! So , if you spend $10 , you will get 150 gifs . if you have any questions regarding pricing , don’t hesitate to dm me !
