howdy, folks 👋

as some of you know, i've found myself in a bit of a bind again, thanks to my poor mental health. my shit mental and physical health had led to me leaving my last job to avoid institutionalizing myself. instead, i've focused 100% of my time on getting help, which i found! i'm currently medicated and will start therapy soon! yay!

however, i'm back to being broke as hell. between paying for everyday necessities, groceries, medications, co-pays, and office visits, my last paycheck has been sucked dry. my credit cards are back to being maxed out, but i'm trying not to think about that too much, to avoid spiraling lol

since i'm medicated again, i'm able to do commissions, so let's talk!

adult friendships are really anything you need them to be like it doesn’t matter. if you and your friend want to see each other twice a week, that’s cool! if you want to have a standing monthly dinner at a restaurant with a friend, that’s cool! if you see each other once every four months and that’s all you can swing, that’s cool! you’re still friends as long as that’s how you both feel. if you talk twice a year for a good couple of hours, guess what? that’s still cool and you’re still friends if that’s how it feels. there’s no rules. whatever you can give in terms of energy and time is enough to be friends

Isn't it fucking insane that so many people think that IQs are real. Like people genuinely believe you are born with one set level of intelligence that can be measured on a scale from 1 to ~200. As if intelligence wasn't extremely nuanced and completely subjective. And the fact that the majority of scientists that have advocated for IQ tests in the past have been eugenicists doesn't seem to concern anyone either
