another twofer this time, because i'm tired of drawing back and forth shots of expressions and nothing else </3

the thing whimsy is referring to is the nightmare wilson had involving wynslow and the other lost souls of the island. it's not meant to be a romantic thing, it's moreso meant to be wilson's conscience (and him feeling guilty/solely responsible for wynslow's current state), but i've had several people tell me it reads like that, so i'm not mad about it lol. just know that he's not calling out to them in his sleep because he's crushing, he's doing it because he feels guilty. the crushing comes later.

Youson Week 2025! // Day 2: Quirk

Thanks to Waverly's knowledge with the supernatural back home, she's actually somewhat resistant to the curse of Moon Quay (only for a day though). And can craft charms of her own to cleanse the Accursed Trinkets. Wilson, as a man of science, was and still is apprehensive about her methods.

A quick shoutout to all of the scrapped drawings I made. I simply could not make something satisfying until I finally went to bed and stopped worrying about it.

Youson Week 2025! // Day 1: First Night(mare)

Due to her low sanity total (100), fear of shadow creatures + seeing her friends hurt , Waverly often suffers from nightmares. Wilson doesn't judge and does the best he can to comfort her.

I was going to finish Day 1 with the first picture but at around 11pm I decided I wanted to make a frame for her. (It's 1:30am now send help)

Oh the softness. Wilson gently wipes Warly's cheek clean from a stray splash of food as Warly kisses his nose. It looks like they maybe had a food fight, or the pot's contents exploded. It's nice to see Wilson help Warly clean up. <3
