I don’t think some of you realise how much of an insult it was when critics suggested Taylor didn’t write/ couldn’t hold her own in writing sessions on debut and fearless. Country is a genre that’s Built on writing your own music and songwriters and for them to suggest Taylor, a new country star, wasn’t writing or wasn’t the main writer was actually such a big insult it’s no wonder she clapped back and wrote Speak Now all alone
