With WrestleMania 31 concluding just a few days ago, I’ve UPDATED the definitive list of “Our 50 Favorite WM Matches”. There have been 2 matches added from WM 31.

**UPDATE**

I’ve attempted to assign each match a # to make the list more “definitive”. Criteria is not based on anything too concrete but, nostalgia, work rate, “moments” and overall ENJOYMENT of the match. I’m NOT completely married to the selections and the #s, so they may change from time to time. A selection can “bumped” from list despite its ranking, (ie. #23 over #50). Additions and subtractions to the list can and will be based on my WM PPV watching frequency, this has not been done.

In similar fashion to the “Bushido Blog Notes RAW” series I have decided to go back and revisit the beginning of my pro wrestling fandom… WCW ‘95. I’ve had this idea for quite sometime now and have made what we will call… “progress”.

Over the last year I have gone back and rewatched 30+ episodes while taking notes in a traditional composite workbook. The plan is to release a new installment on a somewhat of a regular basis, perhaps once a week.

This is the inaugural episode of Nitro debuting from the “Mall of America” in Minneapolis , MN.

Global Force Wrestling presents Wrestling Kingdom 9

Wrestle Kingdom 9 in Tokyo Dome was announced on August 10, 2014, as taking place on January 4, 2015, at the Tokyo Dome.

Wrestle Kingdom 9 in Tokyo Dome will be the twenty-fourth January 4 Dome Show held by New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Through NJPW's working relationship with Global Force Wrestling (GFW), the event will air in North America as a pay-per-view (PPV), presented by GFW.

The GFW broadcast will feature commentary from Jim Ross.

Vol. 01 - NJPW - Summer Struggle - Tag 19 - Savage vs. Liger

I must admit, VERY EXCITED for this one!! Two ALL-TIME GREATS!!

This match took place on the NJPW - Summer Struggle - Tag 19 card on July 17th, 1996. The card featured 10 matches with a mixture of NJPW and WCW talent. This card also featured Flair, The Giant, Sting, and Road Warriors. The card also included a plethora of New Japan talent as well: Shinya Hashimoto, Tatsumi Fujinami, Yuji Nagata and MANY more!!

In what we HOPE will be a long running series… we take a minute and "Revisit" this moment in time, Enjoy!!

WrestleMania Research: "Our 50 Favorite WM Matches"

With WrestleMania 30 just around the corner, we have compiled a definitive list of “Our 50 Favorite WM Matches”… The list of matches is not arranged in a “specific” order. I constructed the list during a “blackout” power outage caused by a winter storm a few weeks back, Oh Canada!! Other than a few specific dates the list was hand written by candlelight and “off the dome”. Enjoy!!
