In-process art. Every piece starts as a pencil drawing. Whether it will be a big canvas, a woodburning piece or a watercolor, they all start with just a good sketch. My best advice to anyone working in any medium - hone your drawing and sketching skills. Do it on paper. It's a friendly medium, very simple, very portable, no fancy equipment required. Go draw and have fun with it! Draw whatever your favorite thing is. It will be your best stuff.

Pizza Time! Another fox for the AC artshow. Made with acryllics on canvas. I will be in the artists alley at anthrocon on Saturday, atking a limited number of commissions.

This tiger was fun to make. I like woodburning because you really have to focus on it and it's The Only Thing you are doing. Everything else just goes away and you end up with something cool. I'm brand new to it, so I get to learn as I go. This piece will also be in the AnthroCon artshow this year.

Seiji and Fuji from the BushyBoyz comic. (haven't seen it yet? come check it out at my spot in the anthrocon artists alley) I've drawn these guys many times in NSFW positions. This time, they are clothed and elegant. Picture this with soft colors and lots of Sakura blossoms.

The Fox Family at play.

This started out with just the one fox, sitting up on the porch. He seemed a bit lonesome, so I added Mom and Kids. This could be in any medium. I'm still deciding which to use.

Calico cat and tangerines. Ever see photos of cats with fruit on their heads? It's hilarious.

Another cat with coffee. I love pencils. They're so fast and effective. This guy is also stealing cookies!

My cat Jack features in my art a lot. He doesn't really drink coffee, but we've had cats that would! This piece will be for sale in the anthrocon artshow.

Previews, previews, previews!

The AnthroCon Artshow will be, as last year, on the 3rd floor of the DLCC (one floor above the dealers' complex) Come check out all the great Furry artists. I'll have a bunch of stuff in there too! I've been hermiting and arting for months, so I'll have plenty of new stuff to look at, drool over and maybe even buy. You like Traditional? That's what I've got - good old, solid get-your-paws-dirty artwork.
