Growing field of upholstery in Jamaica

An entrepreneur is someone who has an idea and tries to develop a good product or service that others will purchase, along with a business to help them in their endeavor. An entrepreneur is seen as a visionary or innovator since they take on the majority of the risk and responsibility for their new company. Small business owners, content creators, startup founders, and anyone else with the desire to launch a business and work for themselves are all examples of entrepreneurs of all kinds and forms.

At this point, I would like to introduce Ashley Reid, a young entrepreneur who defies the status quo in every way. Her day job is in finance, but during the pandemic she decided to take up soft furnishings as a way to make ends meet, and that has now blossomed into a full-fledged business.

Reid says she loves to work with her hands, and so her ventures come as a pleasure. It was only during the pandemic that she realized that she had a knack for this thing and branched off into upholstering. Since then, she has watched countless self-help videos and learned much, and the results are evident in her creations. She remembers a time when people told her it did not make sense, but undeterred, she went on to increase her knowledge of interior decorating and upholstery as a testament to her commitment to her passion.

In spite of the fact that we live in a disposable society, demand for furniture upholstery and reupholstering is not slowing down. Not only that, but I can start and operate your upholstery business out of my own home. People are always on the lookout for unique pieces, and this is what makes this industry so viable as long as quality products are delivered to the client.
