anyways I just want to say if you're a trans woman suffering from erectile dysfunction 1) talk to your doctor about it cuz plenty of trans women have some viagra type of thing they use 2) get a strap, like legit some of the most fun I've ever had in sex has been topping with a strap, it's a different experience but it's great 3) if topping doesn't actually matter to you, then don't even worry about it, there are tons of toys to use, or go ham on oral or fingers there's a million ways to have sex allow yourself a chance to experiment and adapt 4) most of all don't let anyone make you feel like shit cuz of your body.

honestly as a butch, i just gotta say it: that "chivalrous knight in shining armor" crap is objectifying as hell and it's not fun, cute, or validating to apply to us, it provides a burden for us to bear, it makes us paranoid, tired, weary and feel like we're being reduced to a stereotype, or like we're being forced into a mold.
i'm not a knight just because i'm a transmasculine person who looks tough and can theoretically protect femme queers. i'm literally just standing here, being transsexual. i'm not inherently "chilvarous," i don't have any obligation to protect people just because i adopted the label "butch". what if i'm weak? what if the butch needs to be protected? what if the butch is disabled, traumatized, or just scared? i'm a wheelchair user.
why can't femmes protect their butches? why does it always have to be the butch being the chivalrous knight in our yearning posts and poems? why do we have to weave a performative ass narrative of the masculine partner swooping in to protect their defenseless feminine partner? how the HELL is this progressive or subversive at all? this is literally reinventing the binary.
the way the (white) cis lesbian community treats its butches is alienating as all hell. we are not here just to protect other people. we are not inherently protectors. we are not all strong. we are allowed to be weak. we are allowed to be scared. we are allowed to be hurt. we don't HAVE to protect our femmes, if we like femmes at all. not every butch is attracted to femme people in the first place.
butch isn't a lifestyle, it's not a set personality type. it's not a specific set of actions; it's just queer masculinity, that can be expressed by a multitude of queers for a multitude of reasons. it's not one specific set of traits. masculinity is not just found in protecting others and acting tough, it's also in being soft, vulnerable, weak and tender.
just let butches be people, don't turn us into objects before we even get out of the gates. all of this removes the human element of being butch. if the queer community can't afford that, we can't get it from anywhere, because we sure as hell aren't seen as humans by cisheteronormative society.
don't force me to see myself as a knight when i'm the one who needs help just because i'm masculine, or just because i'm a man.
butches need help, too.

I wonder how many people relate to the sentiment that growing up fat massively affects your relationships to your sexuality.
Your body is set up as a joke almost universally. If it’s not that, then it’s something to get rid of, and if it’s not that— if it’s actually celebrated—well then, it has to be some sort of fetish, right?
And it becomes even messier if you’re lonely and queer. You grow up with a lack of understanding, only to seek it out, and notice how nobody looks like you.
That’s not even touching how it may affect your gender.
Fellow fat bitches I love you. Fellow fat butches, I double love you.

If you have a stockpile you are an addict
Btw you have to refill on the same day you run out of medication
Btw you will have seizures and possibly die if you miss your medication
Btw the pharmacy will not order your medication in advance of the one day you are allowed to call and refill it
But you are an addict who should be criminalized if you have a few days stockpiled so you don’t have a seizure and die.
This is a normal way to treat disabled people who need medication that keeps them from dying.

The relationship between Dr Yana and The Doctor in Utopia makes me so sad, the way they immediately hit it off. How excited Yana was to meet the Doctor, how well they worked together. It’s devastating. Especially watching it for the second time when you know, you know exactly what will happen between them. You know the details of who they are. Even worse when you’ve read a few posts about how the master tries so hard to be good, the second he doesn’t know exactly who he is, he immediately tries so hard to help people. He almost forces himself to go against everything the Doctor stands for.

Can the "trans men are oppressors" crowd do me a favor and try to find mental health resources for trans men in their area? And I mean real resources not just videos and articles. Any support groups for trans men? Any therapy groups? Are local queer centers reaching out for specific resources to trans men? Does the local sexual health center have information about birth control, abortions, fertility? Is there a shelter for trans men that they can be safe in without misgendering themselves? Are there any social groups for trans men?
If they're so privileged, where the fuck is it?
