was talking to a coworker and realised i could not for the life of me remember his name but i was too embarrassed to ask because we've spoken multiple times so mid-conversation i started concocting a plan to nudge the conversation towards the ID photos on our building passes so that i could be like oh my ID photo is awful haha the camera they use to take these has a real talent for making me look as unphotogenic as possible and then he would say oh yes me too haha everyone says that (because they do) and then i would be able to say well let me see yours it can't be as bad as mine! and he would show me his ID because we are coworkers and why wouldn't he and this would allow me to see his building pass which of course would have his name on it and then i would be able to say well yours is perfectly nice it must be me that's the problem! and then we would have a polite chuckle about it and i would have his name without needing to ask for it and he would be none the wiser and all would be well but then before i could execute this fine plan a little voice in my head went "so this is some light yagami bull shit you are about to pull" which was such a violent reality check it shocked me completely out of my embarrassment and i went "hey im so sorry your name has slipped my mind could you remind me" and he did and it was fine.

I’ve heard that it’s common for those self ship people to worry that they’re being too annoying with posting about their fictional other and I just gotta to say this: You definitely aren’t. And you should be as “annoying” as possible about your fictional crushes
I don’t want no If’s or But’s. Does it make you happy? Does talking about them over and over make you happy? Embarrassment is natural, I get it, but try not to let it bring you down over it and sour your enjoyment
“Oh but what if people get annoyed by it?” Let them be annoyed. They can ignore or block your blog Any time they want; why let that get in the way of your happiness
I’m not in the community nor do I have fictional crushes, but I have friends who are and do have them, and I find we have similarities: We both really like a fictional character or set of characters, they just take theirs to a deeper, often romantic level. At the end of the day it’s about pure enjoyment of a character, whether romantic or not, Just live your life, who is stopping you

We are Flappy Happy! We are a small Canadian business run by two autistic women.
When searching for fidget items, we’ve noticed that the vast majority are marketed towards children or the parents of children. We wanted to focus on adults that need fidgets. This partially comes from us wanting to say it’s okay to use fidgets (more than okay!), but also us wanting to include more discreet fidget items for those that may need or want them.
We carry a lot of your standard fidgets you’d expect like push pops, fidget spinners and similar.
But we also carry more discreet or adult focused fidgets. These might include things like calm strips (textured stickers), fidget earrings, fidget necklaces, and spinner rings.
Any signal boosting or help spreading the word is so beyond appreciated!
Our website is here.
We appreciate the word about us being spread, especially to other Canadians!
Here are some photos of some of our products below!
These are some of our Calm Strips! These are textured stickers you can place on your phone, bag, etc. They can be very grounding and soothing to touch.

You can see our full calm strip collection here!
These are some of our chewables! These are safe to chew on fidget items!

I wish they could invent a medical device that temporarily transfers your symptoms and pain to the doctor treating you and it worked like a shock collar. “I think light exercise would-.” and then bam they’re rolling around the floor clutching their stomach in agony and dry heaving.
