I have met a lot of interesting people at school. They were kind, funny, and I enjoyed talking to them.

I wonder if they thought I was interesting, or kind, or funny. Or if they enjoyed talking to me.

Or if they ever thought for one second that I wasn't really anything like the person they were speaking to. That the person they spoke to was just a cover, stopping the real me from showing.

Its nothing personal. In fact, im actually helping them. Nobody would want to see the real me. It's bad enough they actually have to see me. Im ugly. I'm not like all the other people. I'm fat, I have a 'moustache', I look like a zombie. That's what my dad says anyway.

And I'm weird. I have a stupid medical condition and so I was always late to class and left early due to a reduced timetable. Now I don't wven go to school. I just join online classes. Maybe im just lazy. My dad calls me that too.

And my personality is stupid. I'm just... wierd. My dad definitely calls me that. He is right though. I'm just weird.

No wonder I haven't seen my friend in 3 fucking months. She thought I was weird too and when she finally found the opportunity to ditch me, she did. Im just the weird, ugly, lazy, clingy friend nobody wants.

So... that's why I hide my true self in public. And at home. I put on this act and become the 'dream daughter' my dad has always wanted me to be.

I want to use this blog to be a safe space. I want it to be safe for me to be myslef, and for others to come forward and open up too, to feel safe to be themselves. If they are ever struggling, they are welcome. Of they are bored, they are welcome. No matter what situation you are in, I want to be there. Becuase that is the thing I havent had. And I dont want anybody to go through that. I want to be the supportive person that people csn turn to matter what. I know how much it would have meant (or still mean) to have that.

This turned out as a strange vent... but I mean every fucking word I just wrote.
