Dhelmise was one of my favorite Pokémons of the Alola region. It just screamed adventure - pirate ships, rough coasts with jagged rocks and cliffs which gives birth to, well, shipwrecks! How ironic. Its design was intelligent too, combining parts of a ship to create a really good looking inanimate object kind of Pokémon.

These too are more or less inspired by Dhelmise. To the left you see a possessed pirate tresure chest and to the left a figurehead Fakemon with long hair based on kelp. They are both unrelated to each other in terms of evolution and none of them evolve nor are evolutions. Posschest The Treasure Fakemon Ghost/Water

‘Key items has always been a deal in the main series games of Pokémon. Items such as the Silph scope from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow or the Go-goggles from generation 3. So I decided to make my very own Key item! The Gasp-mask is a filtration kind of mask, suited for the most toxic environments. Just as the Go-goggles are meant to protect the protagonists eyes from heavy sandstorms, the Gasp-mask prevents you from taking damage from the toxic winds of the Atmos region. And remember to bring antidote to heal your Pokémons since they will most likely get poisoned by this lethal kind of weather during battle.’ This is considered to be concept art for my own region.
