So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.

Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better. 

At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.

So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.

So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here we go, let’s just get this outta the bag cuz if I overthink this I probably won’t post this ever.

MECHA AU-BASED RODDY-CENTRIC COMIC: LOST STAR

While it’s still in development, I’ve already completed the script for volume 1 (Yes, I plan to have multiple volumes, no I can’t promise anything past volume 1 currently 😔)

Lost Star is a fan sci-fi comic centered around the pyromaniac mecha pilot Roddy as he was lost in space, thousands of light years away from Earth after an unlucky encounter with a Quintesson fleet which crashed the shuttle the pilot was in. Far away from home, Roddy is trying his best to survive and find his way back, and maybe meet a few new friends along the way.

(LS is my interpretation of how Roddy met Lost Light! It is a bit of a canon continuation soup, and I’m burning the pot.)

I’ve been cooking this up for a few months now, but it is still in the drawing process, and I’m not sure how long this is gonna take, months? Years, even (hopefully not) but I do think it can be finished near the end of this year, so just a heads up!

Mecha AU belongs to @keferon, and I’m just playing in their sandbox :)

I've been working on this comic for several days now. Its safe to say I haven't gotten much faster at this drawing style.. 😅 I think I need to keep experimenting with different drawing styles in hopes I'll find one that'll make drawing TFP comics less draining.. (; _ _ )

Aside from that- I tried out a few design changes with Ratchet and I tried making the canvas size significantly bigger! You think the image is a bit clearer now? I hope so! <:D I might use this canvas size (W-1455 H-2000) for my future TFP comics :)

My last note is, Ratchet is the best XDD 🚑🧡

So, I have this headcanon that cybertronians express their feelings also with their lights. That’s why their native alt-modes have so many of them.

Like facial expressions, it is possible to learn to control them.
