I’ve decided to archive my old account. I had that blog for over 6 years, and had around 3000 followers. I’m pretty attached to that blog after having it for so long, but I was following so many dead simblrs and so many of my followers weren’t active anymore that I felt like this was necessary. I’ve also recently started streaming on occasion and wanted my name to match on both platforms. 

I also want to start fresh with a new family, and hopefully keep this one for a very long time!

SO I’m not currently following ANY blogs on this account and I need blogs to follow! Reblog this to find more maxis match blogs of any sims game! Who knows, you might find some new blogs to follow too!

Empty Worlds Save

I wanted an empty save to try and build all the worlds myself and thought I would share with anyone who would find this useful! I went through each world and bulldozed all the lots and made them residential. Includes all worlds up to Salvadorada. All lots still have the original EA names and all of the EA premades are loose in the world but have been given little makeovers. This is a completely CC free save.

Installation

First things first back up your current saves folder somewhere on your computer for safe keeping. 

Download the .zip file and extract the files

Place the files in your Saves folder

Once your game is loaded you can select “flauratea empty save file” 

The game will load with my simself as the main sim. Feel free to change or add whatever you want to this save!

Clover Shades - a colour palette

I’ve been using this palette for a while now, and I kept referencing it as my “yet-unnamed-palette”. Well, I finally named it, and decided to share it with you all! It consists of 21 colours from Sherwin-Williams - although some are slightly modified.

What is included

2 .png files

.psd file

photoshop actions // .atn

photoshop swatches // .aco

text file with hex codes // .txt

How to use

You can use them however you want, of course; using your own method of recolouring. Or you can use ether the actions or the .psd I included. Both assumes that you work with .png files rather than .dds, so you won’t need anything other than Photoshop. 

The actions are slightly different from colour to colour, as there’s some fine tuning with the lighter colours. If you’d rather use the .psd, you only have to change the opacity of the Screen layer as you see fit, to make the colours brighter when needed.

There’s also two .png files included which you can just cut and paste into your cc preview picture, a vertical and square option for easy placing.

because a few people asked, here is the .psd i use on most of my pictures! feel free to mess with it and change the settings to your liking if you download it. i also included a neighborhood view group that you can toggle on/off for pictures that have more green in them (like neighborhood shots). i use cs5 but, this should be compatible with older versions – you just might lose the vibrancy layers.
