Glarthir doesn’t realise it’s beginning to get bad again until he finds himself dropping to a crawl whenever he walks by the mirror. (He’s crawling underneath, should he be crawling underneath?)

It’s high, on the wall, hung up by a hook, dangling; the frame is nice. Black wood. It isn’t normally a problem, out of the way in the hallway, in the shadows, but now he’s thinking about moving it because it’s inconvenient to have to drop out of its view every time he tries to move around his home (can’t a man be safe, secret, secluded in his own home?) and the shadows make it worse because it’s hidden. It needs sun, so it can’t hide, so it has to be seen or get out – but is it even daytime? When will the sun be out next?

Anyway, to put it out in the light he’d need to carry it out – and he’s now realising that it’s been some time since he left the house.

Wip Wthursday

I've only just resumed my current Project (took a break for a little while to write for a different game. had a lot of fun. might do some more of that in the not-too-distant future) and it's not at a stage yet where I want to say anything more explicitly about it lest I freak myself out and not finish it, so here's part of a little piece I wrote to give myself a break from the two longer projects I was trying to juggle simultaneously

(glarthir - my favourite npc of all time - has a bunch of paintings in his house for no clear reason, so I extrapolated. he is my best friend. I should write him more. and give him more hobbies. god knows he needs them)

I think about how the Hero of Kvatch is not supposed to be the main character. Even when Uriel is speaking to you he says, "In your face I behold the Sun's companion." Martin is the Sun and you are his companion.

i think its really funny all the new people playing the oblivion remaster and questioning how people can be thirsting over martin septim

If I had a nickel for every time I developed a crush on a man who used to be a Daedric Prince cultist then turned into a priest for one of the Nine Divines, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

I love the part in Oblivion when you get back to Cloud Ruler after trying to recover the amulet of kings and Martin's like "you're back! I told Jauffre not to worry :D" And then you turn around and talk to Jauffre and he tells you Martin barely slept while you were gone.

Just when I thought I was done being emotional over the remaster I got hit with the randomly triggered Martin/Blades dialogue:
