I love this picture, mostly because it shows pretty much all of my physical “flaws” in one photo. You’ve got my scarred arms and legs from years of self harm, the soft tummy and stretch marks which have plagued me for years, that little triangle where I don’t have a thigh gap and my shorts scrunch up, my big thighs, my bad posture.

But you know what, I think it’s lovely. All of those things I have spent years hating are just there, being cute. The only reason I hated them was because someone told me to- whether it was directly or indirectly. Because I’m not perfect. But I’m not supposed to be, we are all supposed to be human.

And even though I make mistakes, I think I make a pretty good human, and I really love everything in this photo. I hope you all learn to love yourselves too.
