had a breakthrough with my therapist: i've chosen to let go of my obsession with being normal and try to be ok with enjoying unconventional things. she says i say one thing and do another... which is true. like i say i want a boyfriend and to move to missouri but i actually love being single and living in new york. and i say i want a normal corporate job and now that i have one i hate it and want a weird badly paid job again.
