Scrooge realizes that he lost his composer, he immediately regains it. He's not going to let Bradford win this.

"Me? Afraid of my feelings? Ha!"

"It's call dignity Bradford, something you don’t have.” Scrooge said with much confidence.

The old duck then crosses his arms, “and what do you mean by me being showy? Are just being jealous? Or…” Scrooge pauses for a moment as he gives Bradford a smug smile. “You just pay more attention than you would care to admit? Not even my greatest enemies would give me that much attention, Bradford.”

"I think that proves that you might be obsess with me."

The look on his face said it all.  

There was something so… satisfying in getting Scrooge all riled up.  It made his little, black heart flutter in glee.

“Pot, meet kettle, McDuck,” he met Scrooge’s insult with an observation.  

They were both stubborn, old birds.  That’s why they were playing this little game of theirs.

“Are you? I thought you were the adventurous type.” The buzzard laced his fingers, wearing a smug grin. “I never knew the great Scrooge McDuck to be afraid of his own feelings. That’s a little underwhelming for how showy you try to be.”

"I-" He shouldn't be surprise, Scrooge had known Bradford for years. He should've known Bradford would try to counteract him and yet.. "You stubborn old bird."

"My eyes never lies and they function much better when compare to your," He states. "And unlike you, I'm not paranoid to confuse someone who is attracted to me to someone who is planning my demise."

"Besides," Scrooge points his cane at Bradford, "why would I be attracted to someone like you?"

"I would rather be dead than admit that!"

“You’re in denial."

"I've notice that side glance you give me when you think I'm not looking," Scrooge says as he wears a grin on his mouth. "I know how stubborn are you on not wanting to be vulnerable, but we're alone now. You can admit that you love me."

There were so many ways to approach this. He could tell Scrooge he was losing his mind, he could admit it and give into his feelings...but that would just be too much fun for Scrooge.

Like hell he wanted to give him the upper hand.

"I think you're the one in denial if you think that I love you." He adjusted his specs. "Tell me, how exactly did you come up with that conclusion, McDuck? Where do you draw your hypothesis? I might be looking at your and devising your demise, but your bad eyesight misconstrues my intentions."

He cracked a small smile. "Perhaps there's something YOU'D like to tell ME, making such claims."
