The ceasefire should not mark the end of our fight. While the ceasefire takes hold in Gaza, Israeli occupation is intensifying in the West Bank. Families in cities like Qalqilya, Bethlehem, and Hebron woke up to mass arrests, military raids, and doubled checkpoints, cutting off movement and isolating entire communities. In Qalqilya alone, at least 60 young people were detained in a single day. At least six people were killed already and more than 35 have been injured in Jenin under the Iron Wall operation; an operation mirroring the language of “security” as a facade but in reality it is targeting any spirit of resistance against illegal occupation. This should be a matter of concern. We cannot fully celebrate without being fully liberated
