All three of them regress from time to time, and they all take care of each other whenever each or all are regressed

Zoey is just as bubbly when regressed as she is when not regressed, so it’s a little harder to tell when she is regressed (ranges from like 4-8)

Zoey also likes to watch little kids shows from America when little, and especially likes watching them with either/both Rumi and Mira

Mira is a bit more quiet when little; also a big sister regressor, and finds it a bit more comfortable to like cutesy things when little as opposed to being big (ranges also from 4-8, sometimes younger, sometimes older)

Rumi regresses the most (due to trauma), and is usually the youngest whenever regressed (ranges from 2-5)

Rumi regresses a lot whenever she thinks about missing her parents, and considering that Celine was less of a parental figure than desired, Mira and Zoey always helped sooth Rumi through her troubling little thoughts

When the girls found out they all regressed, they all reacted like that meme of Spider-Man pointing

The girls had told Bobby before that they regress and explained what it meant, and Bobby was more than ready to be there for his girls regardless of what age they regress to

- As the fandom unanimously agrees, he is the girls' dad. So when they do end up telling him about the whole agere thing, he jumps in to look after them with so much loving enthusiasm

- Often has the urge to post some moments of the girls being really adorable or any gifts his little girls make for him to show off how cute his girls are but controls himself because he's aware of their privacy

- Not posting never stops him from telling the girls how wonderful they are and how lucky he is to have them though. Always cheers them on.

- But also absolutely a worrier. Is super nervous about anything that happens to his girls and checks in all the time.

- If someone regresses on set, it's usually Bobby who looks after them while the other two members continue on as to not alert fans or cause issues with production. That said, if the little clearly wants the other members, he does not hesitate to pull Huntrix out of whatever situation they're in and he takes sole responsibility in handling the aftermath.

- The most overprepared cg you will ever meet. He has a backpack with each girl's favourite comfort item, colorful bandaids and everything else you could imagine

- Buys the girls all sorts of kid-appropriate snacks, alongside their favourite grown-up snacks

- Loves matching with his girls, if Mira wants matching bows, he's there ready for her to do his hair. Zoey's ordering turtle onesies? Get two! Rumi's trying out new tops and is anxious? He's already gotten the same ones and she's choosing which one to try first...

- Sends the girls self care reminders and things that he thinks will interest them...his texts with little Zoey are just hundreds of turtle videos with little "remember to drink water" posts scattered amongst them

- Being a giant kpop nerd himself, loves learning new choreographies with the girls, be it for a comeback or to have fun

- Rumi and Mira are the (relatively) stricter cgs of the household, so when a little gets in trouble, they'll hide away from Rumi/Mira behind Bobby and Bobby lets them off the hook a lot easier than Rumi or Mira will with a "don't do that again, yeah? okay go play :D" and Rumi/Mira just sighs and goes "Oh Bobby you spoil her... " (little Rumi and little Mira exploit this just as frequently as their big selves have to deal with it)

- Schedules days where he watches over the girls so all three of them can fully regress and play with each other and not have to worry about keeping each other safe

- During these days, the girls rarely argue, but when they inevitably do (they're small children after all), he always steps in to be the referee/peacekeeper and reminds them that they are a team and need to work together.

thinking about her strict upbringing, how every word at the dinner table must have been some kind of veiled insult. but now every word out of zoey and rumi’s mouths is kind and sweet and forgiving! even if she messes up, even if she spills, even if she gets scared and yells. there’s always warm words and soft hugs for her to fall back into.

she loves her pink hair!! it’s her favorite color, after all. sometimes she’ll stand and just look at herself in the mirror and try to put her hair up in different ways!! and if she can’t do it she can always enlist zoey, who’s happy to help.

i think she regresses from around 4 to 6! a young kid, maybe around the age she started feeling *different* from her family. when her taste for loud music and bright colors and cool metal spikes was frowned upon, now she has her girls to gush over her and plan amazing games with her!

and speaking of games, oh how mira loves games! pretend games, chase games, story games, you name it! her favorites are pretend games, and she begs rumi and zoey to play with her. they always oblige, and then sit for ten minutes while mira explains the Rules (there are always many and they are quickly discarded in the play.) and it’s in her own world she made, with her new family, that mira feels happiest.

When she's in a relatively good mood, she's a little bit of a brat, very opinated and demanding. Her cgs love spoiling her, and she loves being their spoiled little princess. She knows they will respond calmly and kindly so she feels confident to express herself.

But when she's actually upset, she completely closes in on herself and shuts out her cgs. Either because she thinks she's unlikable and is convinced that she needs to hide so she can delay the "inevitable" of her cgs hating her and/or she's so overwhelmed by her anger that she pushes her cgs away so they don't have to take it. It takes a lot of coaxing for her to seek comfort from them...

After watching Mira solo for the first time, Bobby worriedly tells Rumi that Mira threw a tantrum over having the wrong fork because she seemed really upset about this fork and he's worried... Rumi lights up and thanks him, which confuses Bobby until Rumi tells him “If she screams over a fork, she's fine. She probably feels quite safe actually. If she's quiet, then it's bad." Meanwhile Zoey is off in the corner differentiating forks that Mira loves and forks that Mira hates from a pack of exactly identical forks... it's as fun of a task as it sounds.

Little! Rumi hcs💜

- It's a house rule to always have her hair up if she's old enough to be running around on her own. Despite being a very dexterous fighter/dancer, little Rumi is also. never older than five. She will trip on her own hair and be upset and it will not end well for anyone.

- Because I have also been absorbed by the "Rumi's patterns glow differently when she's in different moods" circle, may I present...pastel versions when she's little. She'll try denying she's little when Mira and Zoey are babying her and then them pointing out that she's glowing a very pretty pastel yellow and she usually glows a bright golden yellow when she's big...

- Due to her half demon heritage, she goes through what is essentially a baby's teething phase but on steroids. Permanently. She surpresses it when she's big, but when she's small she wants to bite. Her cgs buy her lot of chew toys, and each one doesn't last more than a day.

- Her favourite texture to chew on, is metal. Lord help Huntrix's jewellery. (There’s a reason why their comeback outfits have to be stored in those glass cupboards).

- Thinks spooking her cgs is fun, so she hides behind furniture and pops out at them on a regular basis. It works well. Except for when she giggles. And Zoey is like "hmm. why is my couch giggling and where is our Rumi?" and Mira picks her up from behind and the small triumphant giggles become excited little squeals as Mira and Zoey love on her

- She still likes to scold her cgs despite being a toddler. She’ll give Mira a swear jar while shaking her head and chide Zoey for not taking her plate to the sink. They might be more offended at being scolded by a toddler, but it's Rumi so it's alright.

- Zoey, realising that Rumi's patterns was also probably why she's never been to a pool before, takes her to one and Rumi loves it. So Zoey and Mira take her to a waterpark on an off day and Rumi is enamored. She goes on everything at least twice, and is very sad that they have to leave at the end of the day.

- Her favourite thing is her bottle filled with honey tea. It's soothing on her throat, and she gets to lay in Mira and Zoey's lap as she drinks it. (Although her voice loss is mainly due to demon shenanigans, Mira and Zoey still take extra precautions to ensure she doesn't lose her voice again)

- Has a very strict bedtime routine. Mira becomes one those parents who obsess over their baby's sleep regarding temperature and humidity and light and Zoey and Bobby watch with amusement and a bit of fear at her intensity.

- Absolutely naps on tours in the plane (the little one needs her sleep!) and in the car and is so cranky when she wakes up. But mention the fans and she is so excited that she's in her performance clothes before Mira and Zoey so much as blink

- Her favourite place to regress? Their couch. When she's baby regressed Mira and Zoey lay her on top of it and play peekaboo with her. When she's older, they show her the joy of jumping on the couch and building blanket forts.

- Messiest eater ever. Big Rumi is already not the daintiest eater, none of the Huntrix girls are, but little Rumi takes this to a different level. Maybe half of what she eats gets into her mouth on a good day.

- Likes to watch the stars. It reminds her of being a kid. was one of the only ways she could unwind while she grew up in the shrine since she was really never had the time or energy to make friends or play. Mira tells her about star-related Korean folklore, and she loves the story of the Samtaeseong (Triplets Stars) where three sisters protect the sun because it reminds her of how Huntrix protects the world together...

- Zoey introduces the idea of build-a-bear to her and now she is. obsessed. Her first ever one has two voice boxes in it and it's Mira and Zoey telling her they love her. This becomes a tradition every time they visit the US...she insists on getting a scent, a sound and clothes every time

Pet Regressor Zoey Headcanons!

so at first, zoey tried age regressing, and it was...fine? it wasn't what she was hoping for. she less cared about playing or watching cartoons or anything "little" as much as she cared about just...chilling out

she gets a free pass to the aquarium to basically go as often as she wants as a promo for this aquarium, and boy oh boy does zoey take advantage of that! special interest go brrrrrr

zoey loves to pet the tortoises and she watches the big turtles in their tanks. its her happy place, just being surrounded by calm water and plenty of turtles and fish. sometimes she'll sit on the ground with her headphones on and just admire the lives in front of her

she thinks if regression can't work for her, at least she has this, and she's happy

then she finds out that the concept for their next album will be very aquatic, very mermaid-y, and zoey is so hyped. she is so excited that she gets to actually get in a tank with her friends (and her gfs) for a photoshoot!! and it is literally the best day of her life, swimming with these massive turtles, laying out in the sun on the beach, doing promos in the water and with her friends

mira and rumi notice, and so does bobby, how zoey has literally never looked *this* happy before, so they try to recreate some of the magic even when they're finished with photoshoots and music video filming

bobby gets a lil kiddie pool for them to keep in their living room, which zoey immediately takes to so well. most mornings, she can be found lying in the pool with her feet dangling out, the sunrays on her skin, and she's half asleep again

mira starts calling zoey her little turtle, or sometimes she calls her turty to make her laugh, and she helps zoey find her calm. where most of the time, zoey only gets that calm at the aquarium, mira helps her meditate, and they get a little bubbling fountain to help her feel closer to the water again

zoey also now has one of those bubble lamps with plastic fish in it in her bedroom, and she has to have it on in order to sleep at night

rumi helps zoey "turt out" (rather than pig out) by getting a big spread of turtle-safe foods for zoey to just devour whenever she's in a turtle-y mood. the cutest thing, though, for rumi is when she gives zoey strawberries. the both of them end up covered in strawberry juice, but its totally worth it for the happy look on zoey's face

bobby is the one that gets her started on being a lil skateboarding turtle. he saw a bunch of videos online and decided that his turtle girl could do that, too, so he showed zoey the videos and she got so stoked

now zoey can be found tummy-down on a skateboard just gliding around the living room. this makes it easier to clean her pool, at least

soooooo many turtle stuffies. and other sea creatures, too, but mostly turtles. zoey's bed is more stuffed animals than bed at this point, which is just the way she likes it

she does try to make a "shell" for herself out of old cardboard boxes, paint, and imagination...but it doesnt go too well. instead, zoey piles blankets on herself to feel safe and secure when she's having a bad day

mira gets a weighted blanket (made with turtle-print fabric, obviously) for her to use when she wants to shell out for a while, and it works wonderfully

also, aquarium dates are a constant, and its the Best <3 (especially if rumi is regressed, too <333)

My Little!Rumi Headcanons

Quieter when first regressing, but slowly gets more chatty the longer she's regressed

Was a cg before becoming open to her little side post-canon

Is a flip, and happily acts as a cg for Zoey or Mira when they're regressed(all of them are flips and each others cg)

When all three girls are regressed Bobby comes over and is their dad, both in and out of regression

Is always embarrassed a little while after regressing because she's still getting uzed to her little side and struggles embracing her vulnerability + has internalized ideas about it being weird and wrong

Rarely voluntarily regresses. Usually, it's from a stressor or one of the girls easing her into it

Her anxiety translates over to her little self and tries to appease whoever is acting as her cg at that time

More prone to meltdowns when regressed because her sensory issues get worse, the others try their best to make sure everything is as sensory safe as possible

Derpy doesn't leave her side when regressed. Some of the most free and unrestrained Rumi is, is when she's petting and playing with Derpy BONUS: His fur is one of Rumi's favorite things to soothe herself with

Sussie acts as fourth CG and hovers constantly, using squaks and pokes of the beak to gently direct or correct Rumi

Rumi is generally bad at self care but gets way worse when regressed, despite her instances of being able to take care of herself. The others have to remind her of things like going to the bathroom, eating, drinking

Little age varries but tends to be pretty young, 3-5, but sometimes regressed older

Only eats her snacks if prepared in the shapes of animals

Little her is a nickname fiend. You can always tell she's regressed because she's using a nickname or petname when big Rumi wouldnt be caught dead using those nicknames

Doesn't actually know how to kid, it's part of why she regresses, so every time she's little the others make it a point to give Rumi an experience she missed out on under Celine's guardianship

Gwi-Ma is a scared guy in an apartment complex fearing why his scary upstairs neighbours (who he really doesn't get along with) are making his roof shake while said upstairs neighbour is a three-year old and her very exhausted caretakers telling her she can't have a seventeenth cookie.

do we think when rumi has a tantrum that it ripples through the honmoon? do we think when a very little girl stamps her feet and yells for a cookie that gwi-ma shudders? because i think that'd be funny

The imagery of itty bitty Zoey calling Rumi "Umi" has my heart in a chokehold, she's adorable. Also… [frantic nods of agreement]

Her main caregivers are Mira and Rumi, although often times Rumi will also play with her when she's little. She almost always calls Mira Mummy, Mimi or Mama, while Rumi is mostly Umi, Sissy and Ruru.

The first time she dropped, she was super quiet, but when she realised that her caregivers didn't mind her being 'loud', she became a chronic talker. Even if she's super small, she's blabbing about things while her caregivers try and figure out what on earth she's talking about.

I've seen other people talk about this before, but she definitely prefers English when she's little. Although she grew up speaking both, English was more common in her house, and Korean was normally only used during arguments or serious moments.

She loves helping Mira cook dinner. Normally, Mira will give her something she can do seated on the floor, and if she's old enough, she's allowed to use a butter knife and do some of the chopping, which is her favourite.

She has a pair of those baby chopsticks with the animals on the top that hold them together. She loves them so much that she refuses to eat with pretty much any other utensil, unless it's being fed to her.

Her bucket caps are a telltale sign she's little. If she comes out of her room in the morning wearing one, everyone knows she's small. Another sign is her confidently putting her shoes on the wrong feet.

Zoey is a sticker chart champion. She has them for everything, and insists they stay up on the fridge for days after she finishes them so she can still admire the stickers.

iPad kid. Like, chronically. She asks if you have games on your phone, and she watches YouTube unboxing videos. If she's old enough, you bet she's on Roblox.

Her favourite place is the aquarium, and every time she fills out one of her sticker charts, her reward is going. Even though they head out in disguises, the workers recognise her and sometimes she gets to see the turtles a little closer than they are probably allowed to let her.

While Rumi prefers chew toys, Zoey loves pacifiers. As much as she wishes she coordinates them with her outfits, half the time her pretty deco ones are ditched for the simple ones the moment she drops, and if they aren't, they end up on the floor and in need of a wash before she can actually use them.

It should be assumed, but turtle everything. Plates, shirts, dresses, socks, stuffies, pacifiers, headphones, etc.

Although she makes a lot of noise herself, she's really noise sensitive. She doesn't like white noise at all, if there is something going it has to be music.

Always runs cold, and therefore loves to snuggle. When she's little, she can't sleep alone, and Mira's bed is pretty much hers at this point.

She is SO whiny when she gets sick, and instantly drops, but then worries she's being too much and tries to hide it. Any cough in little space and Mira is pulling out the thermometer and chasing her until she can check that she's not sick.

Everything goes in the mouth. She isn't allowed to play with any sort of small toy anymore because it will become a choking hazard.

Bonus-- the points I headcanon her to be little in the movie: In the voice tonics section, she's around six or seven. In the final scene, she's around four or five.

She's so happy to have friends and Mira and Zoey are the best friends she could ask for. They are so patient with her, even if it takes her a while to learn how to play their games. and after they had a long day of playing, she gets love and attention and life is so so good for Rumi♡

how she never got to play with kids her age before, so she loves hanging out with little zoey and/or mira, but doesn’t really know what to do. she’ll sit back and let them decide what to play, as long as she’s included. she’s happy to hold things, or get things, whatever they want! she loves having friends.

ever since her patterns started showing she’s had to cover up, and it’s been hard to run and play outside without getting overheated. but now, she can wear whatever she wants! mira’s big pj shirt and zoey’s headband and a pair of dancing practice shorts! she can climb trees now, and splash in puddles, all things she couldn’t do growing up with celine.

her favorite foods are anything that her family makes for her! but she especially loves when all three of the girls eat their matching ramen together, around the table in the living room. she also likes sparkling juices! she likes to hold the texture in her mouth.

i think she regresses to toddler age, maybe 2 to 4? she’s definitely the youngest when all three hunters are little. and she always looks forward to bedtime, where she’ll get tucked in with a kiss on the head and maybe a lullaby for tomorrow. <3

- Velcro baby. (ik she's not super touchy big, but I think her little self will be.) Is obsessed with being carried. The one situation where she isn't clingy is when she's doing something she's not supposed to, like stealing cookies before dinner or drawing on the walls. She thinks her bigs don't know (they very much do.)

- If she is regressing with another one of the Huntrix girls, she holds their hand, even when it's inconvenient (tag games are out of the question. so is hide-and-seek.)

- Shy to ask for affection, so her preferred way of asking to be picked up is by staring at her cgs and hoping they get the memo. She will make grabby hands if she's desperate, but only when she is. They learn quickly.

- Also shy to express affection. If she gives her cgs a gift or helps her cgs with something, she leaves the room and hides behind a wall to see their reaction

- Definitely makes a family portrait of Huntrix and Bobby and forgets about it, but her cgs assume it's a gift and she's just shy and now it's framed on the dinner table. (She's very happy about this she wouldn't know who to give it to otherwise.)

- Her favourite activity is when Zoey or Rumi pick a really boring movie to watch so she can space out and they spend the majority of the movie loving on her instead of actually watching anything

- You know the thing with kids where they're facinated with their blankets and drag them around on the floor or run around draped in it? Yeah she does that. Her blanket's also her lovey, so her bigs have to wash it while she's big or they'll have problems

- Has a lot of tantrums, mostly because they're cathartic for her. She screams and cries and says "no" to everything but her family still picks her up and soothes her and she is reminded that she is so loved and that means her opinions matter to them

- Her spice tolerance doesn't diminish when she is tiny. Rumi and Zoey find it hilarious that they're feeding their two-year-old spicy rameyeon that has a spice level that should be outlawed for children

- She really likes it when her cgs dye her hair. Her first time dyeing it was when she was six, and she did it alone so it was blotchy and uneven. So everytime she needs to get her roots done she waits till she's little so the others can help her

Favourite nicknames: "my little girl" (from Bobby), "my miracle" (from Rumi) and from Zoey... actually she loves all of Zoey's nicknames because it's always "my (whatever metaphor she thinks of that suits Mira)"...she has [checks notes] three hundred and fifty seven

After watching Kpop Demon Hunters I’m making the executive decision that Rumi is a regressor and has always been reluctant to do so, only able to enjoy it post-movie events. Mira is the ultimate caregiver, stern but sweet and loves to spoil littles, shes a great big sister (and secretly a flip, but is only just beginning to explore that aspect of herself). And Zoey is an age dreamer and regular playmate with Rumi, as well as often being the one to help ease Rumi into a regression space.

Bobby obviously adores his girls and will happily play papa if that’s what they need. That’s part of why he so often brings them snacks, and frequently reminds the girls that he loves and is proud of them all.
