thinking once again about how Martyn and Grian were such perfect foils in third life without even trying. Literally beat for beat, they were perfect opposite mirrors of each other

Both ended up in a role serving someone else. Grian unwillingly due to an accident. Martyn happily due to his own choice

Both stayed in their respective right-hand-man roles for the entire season. Grian viewed his situation as an unhappy one and was looking forward to leaving Scar, but still acted as his loyal ally the whole time. Martyn viewed his situation as perfectly acceptable and beneficial, but still planned to betray Ren at some point

Grian never meant to betray Scar, but ended up killing him. Martyn meant to betray Ren, but ended up dying by his side instead

you guys don’t even understand what GoodTimesWithScar means to me. Funniest character to ever exist. He’s the server’s sexy pool boy and marriage counselor and he’s bad at all of his jobs and you can never tell if it’s through intentional sabotage or genuine incompetence and then you see him build the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen and log out. He’s not a himbo because he’s a genius and master manipulator but he decided a long time ago that he cares more about having abs and giant tits than proving to anyone that he’s smart. He can cry on command and make you think he’s the most helpless creature on the planet and then turn around and fire an arrow from 200 blocks away and get a headshot and kill you. And then he turns around trips over his own feet and drowns in four inches of water. I’m literally obsessed with him

Grian & Gem Wing Shawls!

My submission for the @mcyt-couture-zine, a pair of crochet shawls based on Grian and Gem's signature wings!!

First, Gem's wings!

Monarch butterfly wings, based on her season 9 empires/hermitcraft crossover! Using filet crochet style and lightweight rayon yarn, this shawl is perfect to make chilly spring day brighter!

Now, Grian's wings!

Parrot wings, based off pesky bird source material and fandom headcannon! With sun detailing and mushroom rebellion references, of course. Tight single crochet stitches and wool yarn will keep this eye-catching piece perfect for staying warm! (or for never leaving the desert)

These were so much fun to make!!! Thank you again Tides & the Couture zine mod team for creating such a wonderful project <3
