my one controversial is that while I really don’t like how rtd into the 10th doctor and rose nostalgia and however much it annoys me that he keeps bringing them back, I do think that if Billie piper is playing the Doctor or a doctor adjacent role it would be a complete waste if she didn’t meet David Tennant (the 14th Doctor is presumably still around somewhere)

Ncuti really got the short end of the stick at every possible moment. No buildup or big event about his casting announcement. David’s return was announced a week later. Ncuti didn’t get a regeneration story to himself to be introduced. Fucking “””””bigeneration””””” because God forbid David Tennant isn’t the show’s eternal main character. Ncuti only got two seasons, of which are the second-shortest seasons a Doctor has ever gotten. Only 18 (and a quarter) episodes. Then he regenerates into ANOTHER old face.
