The words spoken from the doctor seemed to make more sense then one may first think, to Edwin at least. He could even go as far to say that he finds comfort in those words. Whether that will last, he wasn’t sure. Maybe he’s just taking any chance he gets, no matter how far fetch that there is some sort of solace in this place. Something he’s yet to really find much of. Can you blame him for seeking hope in the most unlikely of places?

Not all lost things can be found, no matter much one may prey they can, but that’s something that he’s come to slowly acknowledge. However hard that may be.

Well, at least he’s been thankful for finding such friendly people. He feels safe in her presence, enough to trust her. It wasn’t easy to trust anyone in this place, & while he may still be naive, he’s certainly learned when to spot a two-faced liar. You almost have to in order to survive.

He smiles, rather admiring of her work. Sure, she wasn’t quite as skilled, but neither was he. She seemed almost better then him, if he were to be honest. At least she seemed to be much more trained for such a thing, Edwin was merely thrown into all this with no prier warning. He’s been managing, but it was hard. He still hardly uses his gun correctly, either not using it at all or missing his shot.

“ You did really well, suppose we’re in the same boat. I’m not much better myself to be quite honest. ”

A nervous & modest chuckle, twiddling with his hair between his fingers, a small blush glows on his skin. He wished he was much better, though surely he will overtime. He didn’t think he would be getting out of this so soon, no matter how much he would like to.
