I imagine Caesar saying this to his brother, Vigenere. He’s referring to how Vigenere is going against him when he was first planning on destroying their Home Dimension, and how Vigenere not helping him was him “shattering and destroying me” AKA hurting him emotionally by not siding with him.

“Lie and smile to get what’s mine” Caesar is a manipulative bastard, to put in simple terms. Just like the lyrics I have listed above, he lies and smiles, pretending to care, just to get what he wants. And what does he want? Power. He wants to be in control of others, and he’ll manipulate and lie to get exactly that, for however long he has to.
