Ah yes, it is not so uncommon. My friend Grizzly is fond of leather jackets.  I am Shirokuma. I have never seen a man of your size before. (Extends a paw to shake.)

(Sits down across from her and nods, scratching his furry chin.) Very good! That is where all the wolves keep their strength. (Taps his throat.) In their howls. To scare the bears like me away. 

*ducks her head* I - I don’t think I’m so t-tough, but - I do l-love to sing. *tilts her chin back and howls softly* Ouuuuu…

A wolf?? O-Oh! (Smiles wide.) Wolves are very tough--macho! (Flexes an arm.) Do you sing songs like wolves do? (Brings her tea and pastry over to her.)

Oh, if it’s n-no trouble… *steps in meekly, and smiles at the mention of temperature* I - I th-think I know what you m-mean. People keep saying spring is coming, and yet - it hardly f-feels like there’s b-been a winter!

Yes, please do! And come with tea. That is very important, it will be your first test.

Are you still hiring? I admit—my availability has changed, because I need to take care of my brother, but—I’m still looking.

...Huh? Oh!! (Blinks, coming back to attention, and nods.) Hm, yes, yes, I am! When I was invited to the trip and left like that--I did not mean to keep you waiting for my callback, Maglor-san. (Rubs his ear.) I admit, I am not very good at interviews. Perhaps you can come in and work a day? And we will see what happens.

Ah, good and bad. (Maglor’s smile goes dead.) My younger brother is living with the family—myself, my fiancé and our child, but—well, I haven’t managed to get a job to counterbalance that, and now we need to move into something larger. It’s been rather chaotic.
