Wildlife #4
Next Wildlife coming up on June 23!
Wildlife is an on-going series of contingent and irregular happenings at Goleb Project Space. Wildlife aims to be both try-out space, meeting place and a café. Drinks and music are intermittently interrupted by the sound of a gong, which announces the next act. We invite everybody to join us for a slightly anarchic good time. Wildlife presents: An anti-austerity protest in Lisbon, the klaxon sounds of several trucks, a protest song being broadcast on the sound system from those same trucks. Andre Avelas will perform a track based on a recording of this event. Adding layers of samples, sinewaves, horns and a looped song, eventually replacing the original recording. Using her laptop, some string instruments and her voice, Marloe makes intimate music you can dance and sit to. Her experimental approach is fueled by her curiosity for computers and an excitement about sounds she stumbles across in everyday life. Emile Lagarde a.k.a Sun Shy Boy and Andrea Zavala were talking in the kitchen about how they both had recently been reading their texts out loud for the first time to an audience. This night they are going to read love texts that have not been used for neither Sun Shy Boy´s music and choreography or Andrea´s choreography and visual art pieces. Together with a cooking pot and some polyrhythms they will take the direct and bold format of reading to let the text be the main composer of images and timing. & DJ EI ________________________________________ Practical information: The bar works until 11:00 pm. Cash only ________________________________________ Organized by Sema Bekirovic and Justina Nekrašaitė. https://cafewildlife.tumblr.com/

WILDLIFE #3
19 May, 2018,  20-00 till 23:30
Wildlife is an on-going series of contingent and irregular happenings at Goleb Project Space. Wildlife aims to be both try-out space, meeting place and a café. Drinks and music are intermittently interrupted by the sound of a gong, which announces the next act. We invite everybody to join us for a slightly anarchic good time. Wildlife presents: Robbert Voges will attempt to ‘ignite the romantic soul in us all’ through drawing and text. Saxophonist/composer Marc Alberto's music is influenced by jazz, minimal music, dance and performance art. His idiosyncratic sound and often unorthodox technique demand the utmost of his instruments and body. In her cooking show,  artist Fernanda Romann will teach us the secrets of brigadeiros, a Brazilian sweet delicacy. Róża Zamołojko's work revolves around themes like openness, pleasure, and ease of movement.  Listening to what's inside and allowing it to appear through movement. & DJ EI ________________________________________ Practical information: The bar works until 11:00 pm. Cash only ________________________________________ Organized by Sema Bekirovic and Justina Nekrašaitė.

WILDLIFE #2
14 April, 2018,  20-00 till 23:30
Wildlife is an on-going series of contingent and irregular happenings at Goleb Project Space. Wildlife aims to be both try-out space, meeting place and a café. Drinks and music are intermittently interrupted by the sound of a gong, which announces the next act. We invite everybody to join us for a slightly anarchic good time. Wildlife presents: Chun-han Chiang will attempt to simultaneously warm up and cool down to room temperature, imagining the extension of himself in space, where objects echo and the sound seems to tickle. Annefleur Schep is a non-prize winning theatre maker based in Amsterdam. Her performance piece Biedronka Holidays is an ode to the nourishing qualities of supermarkets, life in the sun, and a woman named Marta. Podcast for Introverts is essentially a live podcast; Esther Mugambi sits at a table making sounds, using both objects and her prerecorded voice. Bernhard Hollinger and Fraulein Hahnkamper’s  "The Dark Side of Bass" is an electro-acoustic experimental improvisation, which combines an unorthodox approach to the bass guitar with electronics, voice, and other sound generators & DJ EI ________________________________________ Practical information: The bar works until 11:00 pm. Cash only ________________________________________ Organized by Sema Bekirovic and Justina Nekrašaitė.

Drinks and music are intermittently interrupted by the sound of a gong, which announces the next act. We invite everybody to join us for a slightly anarchic good time. Texas-born theater maker Noah Voelker will try to find out who is the truest American in an all-American game show format. Childhood recollections of walks through the forest, a recycled IKEA wardrobe, a multi-tracked guitar loop. Chris Meighan will combine these, and other, elements in a cross-media performance. Raluca Tudorache will recite a poem against applause. & DJ EI ________________________________________ Practical information: The bar works until 11:30 pm.
