Oh look the people who ignored the claims of people being buried alive in al shifa hospital courtyard, who thought it was justified to target a hospital full of international doctors to kill a journalist, who ignored the international doctors saying children were coming in with sniper shots to their heads and ignored the iof destroying medical equipment, and forced thousands of injured palestinians to evacuate hospitals are suddenly finding it in themselves to say that its never okay to target a hospital when Iran does it. "Bbb-ut hamas uses the hospitals" yeah the same claim coming from the iof who said an Arabic calendar lists the "names of terrorists." It was actually completely immoral to call all the lives at Gazas hospitals forfeit, believing the deaths of thousands of injured people were justified, believing that gazans dont deserve medical care so I dont want to hear them crying wolf when they could not give a damn for a single soul in Gaza hospitals as long as the idf spread a narrative that could absolve them of caring.

It's only been 3 days and they already targeted an Iranian hospital. they had to, of course, targeting hospitals is Israel's trademark

when you grew up as a lonely uncool girl it will never stop haunting you by the way. you will meet a cool person at a bar or the train station or at a friend's party and you can wear your most stylish outfit and striking eye makeup and you will swear that they can see through all of the facade and see the lonely terribly insecure teenage girl you used to be who desperately wanted to connect and you will swear that they know that there is like an insurmountable gap between you. this will happen forever

There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.

2025. 03. 10 | but the light!

I love the independence of doing a PhD! I thrive when I’m interested in what I’m doing (I am), I’m constantly learning (also), and I am not being micromanaged (I’m not!). I love my supervisor and the faith she’s showing me to get my own shit done.

I love my job.

I love my project.

My boss is so great.

I can’t tell how much of all this enthusiasm is coming from the sun and how much is real but I’m riding it.

My one other opinion on film depictions of medicine is that I think all cpr should be required to be accurate so people don’t fuck it up in real life. Like how children’s media doesn’t let them show anyone climbing in the fridge
