my name is xianlan. i'm an adult, and i go by shx/hxr or shi/hir pronouns. she/her is available as an auxiliary option for those who struggle to use neopronouns, but please only use it if you genuinely have a hard time with neos.

i'm a medium-high support needs autistic, intellectually disabled, physically disabled, plural, and persodivergent. i'm also intersex and transfeminine. i'm semiverbal (all the time, not "go semiverbal") and a full time AAC/TTS user because of it.

i don't really know what i'll use this blog for, but it's been a while since i've properly used tumblr so i wanted to give it a go again.

before you follow me, you should know that:

i support transmasculine individuals and understand they face unique struggles specifically due to being transmasc. as a transfem i acknowledge it is not my place to tell the transmasc community what terms they should or should not use to describe their oppression. the transmascs in my life use the term transandrophobia, so that is the term i use. if you do not believe transandrophobia is a real and distinct system of oppression i do not want you on my blog.

i support queer people of all types, including queer people who use labels that seem contradictory to others. this means i support mspec lesbians and gays, lesbians who are men and gays who are women, multigender people, intersex people, and so on. if you have a problem with any of these you are not welcome.

i am a traumagenic DID system, and i believe plurality can have causes other than childhood trauma. although endogenic plurality is not the same as traumagenic CDDs, i still support my endogenic siblings. i do not welcome those who think plurality can only exist when directly caused by trauma.

i do not support the usage of TMA/TME. they are intersexist and often used to perpetuate transandrophobia. i also do not like being defined by the people who hate me. do not call me TMA.

i use the block button liberally. i curate my experience and do not expect others to do that work for me. if i don't like you, your blog, or your opinions i will block you.
